Love these shoes! I have been wearing the Revvena for 4 years now and they continue to improve the comfort and quality!

Improvement over Ravenna 6's and 7's. Absolutely love the upper, they're fitted but not too snug. As always Ravenna run a little narrow compared to some other shoe but not to the point I needed to order wide. Always order at least 1/2 size up from my street shoe size. These feel great out of the box, remind me of the Ravenna 5's, I loved those. I look forward to more color selections.

Great product. Wife loves Brooks shoes. As others have pointed out though the shoes seem to wear quickly on the inside lip by the ankle.

Great shoes, but extra padding on the ball of foot pad was too uncomfortable for me (I have some issues with that part of my foot).

The shoes are fine but not for my feet. I had a bunion removed a long time ago; ever since I have a very difficult time finding comfortable shoes. The review on this shoe made me think it would work but it doesn't have enough of a cushion for me. I SHOULD have stayed with the model that has worked well for me in the past.

I love these shoes, but I ordered 3different kinds, not intending to keep all 3. Unfortunately, this pair drew the short straw so I am returning them.

Great running shoe, comfortable and stylish. However, after just a few months, the mesh material is already tearing. Switched to Brooks after same thing happened to my Asics. Delicate material, not sturdy at all.

This shoe wasn't the best of all worlds. I had previously tried on a Brooks Ghost in a store and loved it except it provided no stability which I need for over pronation. The Ravenna 8 provided more support but definitely not as comfortable as the Ghost. Returning these and trying the Brooks Adrenaline GTS 17 next. Thanks Zappos for making buying and returning easy!

I bought brooks because they are the most comfortable and I liked the style. After only 3 months, the mesh on top started to tear and is already full of holes. BTW, I exercise indoor and moderately so definitely these should have been in good shape for a lot longer. Disappointed.

Very disappointed in this shoe as the fabric on the shoe started ripping after I've worn them less than a month and was all indoors. Poorly made ??

Loved my Ravenna 7's and thought to get the net generation but this shoe is considerably narrower in the toe box and thus did not fit my foot.

I really wanted to love this shoe, but after only a few months of moderate walking a few times a week, the side fabric is disintegrating. In the previous model of this same style of shoe, I wore it daily throughout pregnancy and it lasted two years. After only four months with this shoe, I'm searching for new ones.

Ugh. I don't know why Brooks had to go and ruin a good thing. I have been running in the Ravenna for years, but this years model had some significant changes that just didn't work with my foot strike. Whatever changes Brooks made to the heel of this years model caused my legs to tighten up to the point I felt I would become injured if I continued to run in these. I am sure this shoe will work well for other, but they didn't work well for me.

I want to like these the cushioning feels good. However just walking around the house. The left shoe feels too narrow, even though it's wide.

Have been a Brooks Ravenna fan for several years now and the shoe itself felt good, but could not tolerate the partial tongue 'bulge' on this model so sent them back...

While this shoe felt good at first I found that I was soon walking on the outside of my feet, lots of pain afterwards for me. Back to the glycerin I go.

I've worn the Ravenna 7 since it came out and it has been the most comfortable Brooks shoe I've worn. The Ravenna 8 is not at all like the Ravenna 7. I have a bunion and also suffer from neuroma pain but I would have no pain when I wore the 7's. Foot pain started to return while trying out the new Ravenna 8. The toe box is narrower and shallower and the great feeling of the instep being wrapped and supported is gone. I could also wear my orthotic in the 7's without any change to the snug fit of the heel. With the Ravenna 8 I found my heel had a little more slippage and the heel portion of the shoe didn't fit as well. My other complaint is the lacing. They've placed the little loops (that create a wider space along the eyelets) higher and it didn't feel comfortable on the top of my foot. I usually wear a 10 in Brooks I've found both the Ravenna 7 & 8 to fit true to size in length. The size D/wide in the 8's felt like a B width. Sadly, these will be returned and I'll check out other newer models. In the meantime I'll be buying any Ravenna 7's I can find!

I have been wearing Brooks Ravenna for distance walking for years (fitted at specialty shoe store). Didn't like the 8 at all. The tab at the base of the shoelaces pressed the top of my foot aggravating foot and bunion. 7 was my favorite. Hopefully the 9 will be better.

These are just ok. The fit is acceptable, but not terrific. I ordered in wide and 1/2 size larger than I wear in dress shoes. I ordered in peacoat purple, which is rather dark except for the purple accents. They aren't very stylish and are suitable for someone who prefers traditional styles. The fabric of the main part of the shoe feels somewhat cheap to me, and I wonder whether it will wear well. I always wear clean athletic shoes so toss them in the washing machine when they are dirty. I suspect these would not hold up well to washing. I am returning as I ordered other athletic shoes that I like better.

I have the Ravenna 7 that I've been wearing for the last 9 months and loved them, but have put a lot of miles on them and needed a new show so I want with the Ravenna 8. They do not fit the same at all and I'm not happy with the Ravenna 8. They fit narrower through the toe box than the 7, and the tongue on the 8 is really odd. It's especially thick and the way that they shoes lace, it bulges in the middle. Unless I have them tied really really tight, it slides to the side as well - which isn't conducive to sprinting/cross training work. Not at all pleased - going to try to find the Ravenna 7 somewhere.

I wore the ravena 7 and all was fine in fact I bought them instead of my normal adrenaline. The ravena 8 fit very different and I reinjured a neuroma and actually caused a new one. Ironically the Adreniline 17 fit so much better like the models prior to the 16 so I have gone back ti Adreniline. Love Brooks but they sometimes make drastic changes from year to year.

I have purchased other Ravenna shoes and have been very pleased with them. This pair makes my feet tired - they have poor support - I am an overpronator and the shoes make it worse.

Not a good arch support for me.

I like Brooks but these shoes were not there best at all. I bought them for a run so I didn’t have time to return them but I would have. The quality was not there they started to break down the first month I had them. Very unhappy with these.
