This is my fifth generation of Ravennas though I did skip Ravenna 6. My favorite was Ravenna 5 and I stocked up on them when they were discontinued. I bought two pairs of Ravenna 7 out of desperation and found that they do not have enough room over the toe box and were also very stiff although otherwise fit okay. So the Ravenna 8 seems to be a throwback in part to the Ravenna 5, which makes me very happy. I like the styling and also, they have more room over the toe and seem to run a tad longer than the 5's. they do run narrow which I like because I have a narrow foot. the heel does seem to be a little less snug than the earlier Ravennas but is still acceptable to my very narrow heel. Ravenna 8 is also a little more flexible than the 7's and hence more comfortable overall. I have found through trying different shoes that the Brooks Ravenna is literally the only shoe I can wear; any other shoe seems to throw my body off and produces hip, knee and/or back pain. And I have also found that a daily change of shoes is necessary, even if the shoes are the same model. So I am happy that Brooks makes their shoes in different colors, which makes it look like I'm wearing different shoes every day even though they are not. I should also add that I am neither a walker nor a runner. These are my all-the-time shoes.

i chose these because its time i got a good supportive shoe for being on my feet all day at work and also for my long walks, and the gym if i ever get back! when i first put them on, i could tell they fit true to size, but i wasn't sure if they didn't feel too weighty. was i too aware of them on my feet versus them feeling like cozy slippers like some lighter shoes. but i loved the colors and the shoe is very stable and durable. in fact it is the most durable-feeling shoe i've worn. i feel like i could swim across the sea in them and they'd dry out to new again. they seem very well-made. so i decided to commit by going for my daily 3 mile walk in them. and omg they are perfect! they just felt more comfortable as i went. i felt energized like i could extend my walk if i'd wanted versus tired and done as i normally feel. its a thick sole too which seems to be a good thing on pavement. they absolutely make a difference in support and comfort now that i've walked in them. a great shoe. and sooooo glad brooks came out with better colors. this design is super hot. i love them.

I have been wearing Brooks Ravenna sneakers since version 3. I was fitted for these at a local running store and they've been the best fitting shoes I've ever owned. I should mention that I wear a wide, which limits my options, but these come in a wide and they fit perfectly.

Wish they had more colors for the width I require, but overall is a good shoe. I initially got an 8-wide/C/D but there was probably 1.5”-2” from my longest toe to the end of the shoe. The width was perfect & the shoe was absolutely comfortable. It’s just too big, so I’m going half a size under. Can’t wait for them to get here!

I love these so much that this is my second pair in the same color. I know it is a running shoe, but they are so supportive and comfortable that I wear them all the time.

I have the Brooks Ghost and the Brooks Adrenaline. I had to return these because they are narrower in the toe box. I have a normal width foot. These would work better for narrow feet.

Extremely comfortable, great support, stylish and very well made shoe. This is my second pair of Brooks and I like them much more than the ASICS I’m sending back.

This is my second pair in the same color. I wear them running, walking, and in my trx class. The support and comfort cannot be best.

I love the color options of this shoe and it has fit great, too! I've gotten several comments already about the colorful design when I wear them.

I love Brooks running shoes. In the past I have ordered the Ravennas and the Adrenaline GTS and been pleased, but I think Brooks is changing the Ravennas some, they just do not feel like they used to. I ordered these as well as the black and Aquarius and returned both. Not crazy about the color options or the fit.

I started running in Ravennas a few years ago, and I haven't looked back! I love this shoe. I run long distance, and I typically run on roads. This shoe provides cushion and support while remaining light on your foot. I always recommend people are fitted at a professional running store before deciding on a running shoe. It's important to know what level of support and arch you need before purchasing, because everyone is different. Very happy with my purchase!

This pair is my very favorite for sure. I love the fit and the color as well. I walk alot everyday so I can tell this sneakers are going to be so supporative for my feet and legs.

Brooks Ghost 7, was the best shoe I ever owned. I tried the Ghost 8 and 9, but experienced a lot of ankle issues. I took the online assessment on the Brooks website and was recommended the Ravenna 8…Absolutely love them. I’ve only run 6 miles so far - but I can already tell it’s a great fit. I have a high arch and roll my ankle about once a week just while walking. – these are very stable and supportive.

Have tried a few Brooks in the past and found them too short and wide. I tried this style when shopping and found it fit perfectly!

I love Brooks Ravennas. This is my third generation and I haven't been disappointed with any of them. I love the colorful style and detailing. They are comfortable and work well with my orthotics. I feel like I can do anything when I am wearing them. They are awesome shoes. I highly recommend them.

This is a wonderful running shoe. I am looking forward to putting many miles on it.

I found these shoes to be very comfortable, I wish they came in more color options. I am not a runner, I use them for primarily for treadmill walking on an incline. I think these shoes are made for women who under-pronate and have a high arch, which I do in both cases.

Great shoe. If you've had a foot injury, as I have, you understand the importance of a great fitting shoe that provides good support. The Brooks Ravenna is it. This is my third pair.

I've been wearing Brooks Ravennas for several years and love them. I can wear them with no hip or knee pain. Currently wearing the Ravenna 6. The 8 feels more different than I was expecting. Narrower which is good for my narrow feet. A bit more heal slippage than I experience with the 6. And even with my custom orthotics, the arch doesn't feel quite as supported. I'm still deciding whether to keep them or begin the search anew.

Super comfortable shoe. Wide toe box. Light weight.

i decided to try brooks after a friend suggested them. I ordered these and had them in 2 days. I really like these shoes, they have a wider toe box which saves my pinky toe from getting pinched like most other athletic shoes do to me.

Great shoe. Support and fit work well.

I had a pair of Brooks years ago and liked it. I am switching back to the Ravenna because these provide better support than the ASICS.
