I have always worn ASICS in a wide width, but after reading reviews I ordered these a half size up and double wide- and my toes were still being squeezed. So disappointing as ASICS have been my go-to shoes for years. Ended up with Brooks Ghost 10 (wide width) and love them!

This is a very pretty athletic shoe however, it was TOO short and TOO tight. The last Asics pair I got and am still wearing is a 11N. All the reviews indicated that this shoe was running short and tight so I ordered the last 11.5D. When compared to my old shoe the supposedly larger, wider new shoe was at least a full size shorter and 2 sizes NARROWER than the 11N! This specific shoe was definitely a manufacturing defect. It is going back to Zappos along with the arch supports I ordered for them. I have no idea what styles are normal now.

Very nice shoe, but too small. I wear a size 13 and there was a time when Asics 13s fit me. My foot has not changed, but the shoes have become shorter, or something has changed with Asics shoe designs. These will have to go back.

Way too small I tried a full size larger and still my toes are crammed into the shoe. What happened Asics you used to be the best running shoe

If these are 2EE's, I am the Man in the Moon. They look more like a Narrow to me.

I've ordered and returned two pairs of this shoe in my usual size and .5 bigger, and they're both too short and too tight. Order at least one full size bigger.

I have bought the Asics running shoe for the last 5-6 years and this is the first time I've been disappointed. The shoe runs short and it squeaks when I wear it and after 6 weeks of wear the inside wore down near my achilles heal. They were never really comfortable like my other GT-2000 in the past. Need to return them.

I really wanted to love this shoe since I love the colors. They are so uncomfortable and going right back. I have learned to orde ASICS a size up but even the 12 is short and really tight in the toe box. I as so disappointed!

the toebox is too narrow

I have worn the GT-2000's for years now and this is about the 5th pair I have purchased from Zappos. I have always loved them! Not sure if it's a design change, but these shoes are much harder on the footbed than past versions. Not as cushy. I am used to it now, but I didn't get that 'Ahhhh' feeling when I first put them on. Also, for whatever reason this pair creaks! I thought at first it might have been rubbing of the socks I was wearing, but no, it's the shoes. I really notice it walking inside my house or thru a store where there isn't a lot of other noise. Not a huge deal but I will not be sneaking up on anyone that's for certain! Had I realized it was the shoes before I wore them outside I would have returned them. Between the two issues I will probably end up buying a new pair sooner rather than later.....but I may change brands. These were not the shoes I have loved in past years.

The comments said this ran small. I ordered 1/2 size larger and in a wide width. This shoe must have been mismarked. It was very small and the width was very narrow and there was no room in the toe box. The shoe looks great, but I have no idea what size it is.

Seriously??? These are so incorrectly sized that I can't tell you about the arch support. I wouldn't even consider ordering these if you need a wide size and they are at least a full size too small. Not worth it.

Worn Asics for many years. This pair gave me heel blisters. Need to return.

I have weird, hard-to-fit feet with bunions, so I ordered a wide and a half size larger than I normally wear. These shoes felt fine when I put them on (of course), so I wore them for a full day. After eight hours, I thought I would faint because my feet hurt so badly. The shoe did not rub the side of my bunion, but the top, where my big toe flexes. I literally cried. I am disappointed because I have an old pair of Asics that I love and upon which I rely. Now I've worn the shoes, so I can't return them to Zappos, but I will never wear these shoes again under any circumstances.

This shoe is the wonkiest shoe ever. I wear a 9.5 in almost all running sneakers. 9.5 was too too small (toes touching the top) and 10 was way too large (toe box felt so wide and mid sole didn’t match foot). Toe box runs really strange in this shoe and sizing up doesn’t help.

This is one of the worse running shoes I have ever had. The heels have worn out both times within a few weeks. For $124, this sneaker is not worth it. I have had horrible blisters on my feet. I would not recommend this sneaker at all. I exchanged the first pair thinking there was something defective with the shoe but I have to return the 2nd pair - there is something defective with the brand.

Let me begin by saying I have worn Asics for over 10 years. Unfortunately, they seem to be getting progressively worse. I put these on and it was like standing on a cardboard box. No cushion. No support. Back they go.

I guess I don't get any ASICS shoes anymore, or at least until new ones come out. I am a 10.5N in regular shoes and always bought an 11N in ASICS. The 11N was way too short, and the toe box was very narrow and confined. The 11.5N was still too short for my big toe. I tried the 12N. It is finally long enough, but now the rest of the shoe is way too wide. I've bought ASICS for years and don't know what to find to fit my narrow feet now.

This was going to be my 5th pair of the GT-2000 (I loved these shoes), but Asics has changed them. They are shorter and not nearly as wide. Terrible fit. Will be switching to another brand.

I have always worn Asics GT 2000 series and this is the first time I absolutely hated them. From the moment I put them on, my feet were hurting. Literally, my plantar fasciitis started acting up. It was too late to return so they are sitting in my garage looking pretty. Will not purchase again.

I have worn this type of ASICS for years and years. Before I went on a trip involving much walking, I purchased this new style, as the soles of my previous ASICS were disintegrating. I chose a half size larger, as the new style seemed less roomy. On my trip abroad, I walked up to 8 miles a day, on city streets, and found these shoes did not allow enough room in the toe space. Fortunately I had a pair of Keene sport sandals as an alternate, otherwise I would have had to cut the top of the sneaker. My toe nails turned black anyway. Anyone want a size 9.5??? I am now looking elsewhere for a comfortable walking sneaker.

Not the same shoe ! I have worn GT-2000 for years. Its what my husband a podiatrist recommends to many patients. This version has an tight toe box, the top of the shoe cuts into the top of your foot and the size is diffidently smaller Very dissatisfied with the shoe. I have 10 pairs of Asics theses are duds
