This shoe squeaks and makes a lot of noise when walking, so even if the fit was perfect, I'd be sending them back. I don't know if that's typical of this model, or just the one pair. The fit is not like the GT-2000 4, which I've been wearing, and love. This shoe runs very slightly smaller and narrower than the 4 but overall is pretty true to size. If you have a wide foot, you may find it too narrow. I'm not sure why this felt so much different than the previous version, but it was very fatiguing to my feet in the mid arch area; just not comfortable (and the squeak!). These are going back and I'll try to find the 4s somewhere; or maybe give the 6s a try.

Asics was my go-to shoe for many years, mainly because of the wide toe box. That design is gone this year in most Asics styles. I thought this style would work and it did for the first few wearings but I found I need to be careful which socks I choose to wear. I would return them if I hadn't worn them outside (I did wear them extensively inside and they seemed okay - but that did not hold when walking on pavement for a long period of time). I since found Brooks Adenaline and they are perfect. If you need a wide toe box, look at Brooks.

Loved them but toes up against the front. They are not sized correctly. I returned and reorder 1/2 size up, but not good fit so sadly returning them. Nice quality and sturdy shoe though.

I sent them back. Did not fit well. Insole cushion was very stiff.

I ordered ee width because I have bunions. I'm not sure the toe was wide enough for my bunions, but it DEFINITELY was too narrow for my toes. My toes point outward because of the bunions and these shoes are pointed. So far, only Saucony brand has fit.

I should have read more reviews before I ordered these. I ended up returning my first order. I ordered my normal size, but they were too small & tight. I ordered a half size up and a W. These are fine. Not bad, not great, just plain fine.

As Asics has been doing lately, this shoe was way too small. I wear a size 6.5 or 7 shoe and my last Ascis were 7.5. These size 7.5 had my toes jammed all the way up to the top. I had also ordered a size 8 and they fit, but they were already feeling loose in the heel so I knew they'd loosen up to be too big [in the heel]. Another disapointment from Ascis is that they didn't have that wonderful COMFORT feeling you usually get when you put on a new pair. Sending both back.

As others have said before me, I loved my old Asics but these required me to get a 1/2 size larger and still they weren't right. My big toe hit the end. I know I couldn't even use these as my everyday walking shoe. I'm bummed!

I've worn this type of Asics for more than 15 years because they are one of the few brands offering narrow sizes plus it's anti-pronation. Until the last 3 years they were always top quality but now they wear out much faster, which is disappointing in a shoe in this price range. They run a full size small so I always order accordingly (use to be just a half-size small but when the quality declined so did the sizing). That said, it fits me well (granted in a "larger" number size), is comfortable, and gives good support. I just wish they'd stop "improving" it and go back to earlier designs.

Other reviewers suggested ordering 1/2 size up, so I ordered 10.5 WW. Shoes arrived, looked very nice but when I put them on, my toes were crammed up against the toe of shoe. Very disappointed because it looks like a nice shoe and a good price. Zappos customer service A-ok, as always.

These are my second pair as I love the previous ones I purchased. Yes, the size does run a half size too small and ordered the next size which seems to be the case with the last several pairs I have purchased. The have all the support needed and are very comfortable in addition to looking great.

Okay for an everyday shoe. Nothing to write home about.

I ordered a half a size larger as recommended, still short and feel very tight. I loosened the laces as much as I could, which helped a bit. But after the end of the day, on my feet all day. They felt too tight. I recommend ordering a full size up. Too late to send back. The box got recycled!

I am an ASICS fan and have been wearing them for a long time. However the hazard of buying shoes online is that you can’t try on before you buy. I’ve purchased many pairs of ASICS and always bought them in a store and decided to take a chance at buying online. I loved the look of these and was excited to get them but when they arrived they looked significantly smaller than the pairs I’ve had in the past and my toe brushed the front- despite ordering the size I always wear. I won’t be buying them without trying on again.
