I love the color! I’m a bright fun color girl and these are great! Ran a whole size small! I’m normally a 9 in ASICS but, this one said runs small so I ordered a 9.5 and a 10. To my surprise I ended up keeping the 10. Very comfortable. Purchased the day before a trip to Arizona and I walked in them for days right off the bat. They are great!

Best fit for narrow foot in athletic shoe found . Too short going up 1/2 size.

Great shoe. As all the other reviews say it runs a 1/2 size small so order up 1/2 size. Great support and feels perfect. Love the look. I've worn ASICs for a very long time and they never dissapoint.

These are very attractive shoes, and the sole seemed to have a nice cushion feel to it. However, my usual size 2E width was far too narrow. Unfortunately, this shoes does not come in a 4E width, so I am forced to return this pair of shoes.

Should have heeded advice to order 1/2 to 1 size smaller. I thought this wouldn't apply to how I wear my shoes, though as I remove the full insert and place my half insert which leaves more room in the toe area. Still too small.

This shoe fits smaller than my old Asics and the shoe laces fit down into the toe area more than my old ones which hurts my toe on the left foot. I am returning. They are very nice looking shoes.

I love Asics for their stability line of athletic shoes. I have had really good luck with this style of Asics in the past but for some reason this current style seemed to lack the expected cushioning at the ball of the foot. They fit well overall and look great but due to this issue I have returned them. :(

NOT PINK. These sneakers are black, pale green and ORANGE. I am keeping them because they are comfortable but I really don't care for the orange. Luckily it's mostly on the inside. Please update your description as this is deceptive as there is no way anyone could call these pink.

Bought these after googling for sneakers best for plantar fasciitis and they are 8/10 for support. The sole is nice and firm, unlike most sneakers now that are too flexible and don't offer good support. The style is cute and the only con is that the back goes up high and when wore with the low cut socks got a blister, so will only wear with socks that are higher going forward. Based on reviews, I bought both a 1/2 and a full size larger to compare and ended up keeping the 1/2 size larger. The width is NOT true to size, these sneakers run very narrow so keep in mind when ordering to go up a width than usual.

As a (slow and infrequent) runner, I hadn't bought new shoes since the GT 2000 4 a couple of years back. At the time, I loved them because they had a very plush gel insole that provided the right amount of support and left my achy knees feeling pretty good at the end of my short run. They also were roomy for my feet which tend to swell quite a bit during my runs. Move ahead to the GT 2000 5. The support is still good, but the cushioning is not nearly as good. The ball of my foot was really in pain at the end of the run (I run hills a lot so the ball of the foot can get some decent use when going down hill). If you're looking for a shoe with some cushion this is fine, but if you're looking for something that has a more gel-based or plush cushioning without adding insoles, this is not the shoe for you. I also echo everyone else's recommendation to go up at least half a size and potentially go with a wider width depending on what you need. I'm a 9M in regular shoes but go to a 9.5D in Asics.

I love these sneakers since they are the best fit for a very narrow foot. This is the narrowest fit one can buy to accommodate a SS width in a sneaker! I wish it came a little narrower! I am able to wear this shoe with thick socks all day long while I teach on tile floors. It also has great support to absorb shock. I am returning these shoes to exchange for another pair due to unsitely rippling fabric across the toe box.

I only wear Asics. I needed a new pair for a boot camp type workout with a range of movement: jumping, squats, lounges, sprints, etc..this shoe provides all the necessary support but I feel the toe area is slightly narrower than other Asic styles.

This is a good supportive shoe, but the sizing is insane. Order a full size up!

Nice looking and "tidy" even in wide size. But the WW felt a little too narrow.

I love ASICS but this is the first time trying the GT-20005. I am really disappointed with the feel of this shoe. Even ordered a wider width but overall it felt tight

I have very narrow feet and found that this shoe runs a bit narrower than Kayano, and considerably narrower than the New Balance shoes I normally wear. This shoe runs considerably shorter than most shoes I have purchased; I re-ordered a half size larger than I normally wear. Normally I wear insole arch supports (this shoe's insole is removable), but I can actually get by with the insole that comes with this shoe.

love these shoes - just cant get a pair that fits! They seem to run REALLY short! My normal size in asics running shoes is a 8.5. The 9 was still too short - have reordered the 9.5 hopefully they will fit. Thank goodness for Zappos return policy!!

For the price, I expected more from this shoe. I didn't expect to have it press on my big toes and be able to see my big toes when I walked when a lower priced ASICS shoe gives me more room in the toe box. I ended up keeping the GT-1000 5, which was just a little over half the price of this one, because it was more comfortable. ASICS really seems to be having a size standardization problem. I've never worn a wide shoe, and I've never worn anything but a 7 in athletic shoes. I needed a wide in this shoe but not in the GT-1000. And the Gel Nimbus was half to a full size smaller than marked. If you've always worn a particular size and style in ASICS, you'd better try them on now.

Wanted to love these. Love the color and the weight. I should've ordered a 7 wide instead of 6.5 wide. But I also ordered a pair of Saucony Echelon 5 and Brook Ghost 9. Both of those I'm keeping. Sorry Asics! Maybe next time!

I wear inserts and I have very wide feet one of the reasons I purchased them. I'm still getting used to them. But they work will.I use then at the gym.The structure sole and sides is what I was looking for the best support.

I wear a 9.5 narrow (AA) in regular shoes. In sneakers I always have to go up a half size. I ordered this shoe in a 10.5AA, and unfortunately the toe box is too short. I have a very narrow heel, and often have problems with shoes slipping off of my foot. This shoe fit my narrow heel well. I normally wear Brooks Adrenaline, but they redesigned the shoe using a knit material for the body of the shoe. With sneaker manufacturers switching toward this knit material, and creating a snugger fitting shoe, I find that the toe boxes are too narrow and short, and the heel is now too wide. I also tried Nike Air Pegasus 33, and had the same problem. Compared to the Brooks Adrenaline 17, the ASICS GT-2000 5, didn't feel as if it provided enough arch support for stability. I will have to use it with an orthotic insert. I will reoder the ASICS GT-2000 5 in an 11AA and see what happens.

Great shoe, but I find I must order a half size up! For years I had worn size 10 in Asics but now I must order 10 1/2. Yikes!
