If I'd gotten a half size larger they would have been perfect.

Would recommend the color.

This is a nice looking shoe and I wanted to work for me but it was too stiff. It does run small. My go to running shoe has been the Asic Gel Kayano for years and I am a true size 8 medium. I am returning the GT-2000 5 and re-ordering the Kayano. I like the colors of the GT-2000 and would like to see Asics up the styling a bit. In the past, I've taken the Kayano shoes out of the box and run out the door. No need to break in. I'm hoping this is still the case. I tried a Hoka and just couldn't get used to them. Great soft cushioning on the Hoka line. I've also heard Brooks is making shoes with the sponge-y rubber so I may switch brands. Here's to happy feet!

I always take a size 8 shoe but my toe hit the end of the shoe in this model.

I love ASICS!! I have been running in them since high school (1990’s). 6 1/2 has always been my size however thanks to other reviewers I have went up to a 7. Go up the half size for toe comfort. I run distance and usually buy new running sneakers every 6-8 months. The price was right on these 2000’s.

I've been buying the GT-2000 in a size 7.5 for years but had to exchange for a size 8 in this model. Other reviews say they are smaller so wish I would have listened to those and just bought the bigger size.

I love when shoes come in narrow! Having usually bought these shoes in regular width in the past, they do feel a little snug in the toe box, but am hoping they will stretch. My last pair of Asics got very wide over time, so I am excited for a new pair that seems to be a better fit. These shoes are great for running and cross-training; they last a long time and are very comfortable.

It was a good looking shoe. The width and arch were great. The shoe fit my heel well. However the length was too short. My toes got very sore at the base of the nail as the seam across the toe hit right there.the shoe was shorter than I had planned for, also causing my toes to bend slightly increasing the rubbing against the nail. I would not recommend going larger as the arch seemed perfect. I find other asics ( for numerous pairs) have not run short like this. Good shoe, bad sizing.

I had to size up by half a size. I don’t know what happened but I had to return my first pair and go up. My daughter had issues with her ASICS running small lately, too. Other than that, these are a great shoe. I went down on the “style” rating because the color I fugly but I was desperate and needed new shoes.

Was thrilled to see that Asics were still making a 10 1/2 AA. Having read the reviews I ordered an 11 AA. They were a little short, and I tried an 11 1/2, they were too wide and would have allowed too much lateral movement. But I liked them so much I ordered a second pair of 11 AA. This pair was perfect, just that little bit longer for a perfect fit even when pushing off the toe. The arch support and foot cradling are exceptional. I can't attest to their wear longevity, as I have only been wearing them for a couple of weeks, but I will definitely be replacing them with the same, if I can.

I needed a new pair of running shoes and I have flat feet and need to wear insoles with any shoe I wear. When I put these on, My feet were so incredibly comfortable! My feet are still getting use to them while running and they feel a little bit heavier than my last pair, but I feel better running in these than I did my other ones.

I wanted to love these, but they were very uncomfortable. They felt very tight around my arches - maybe I should have gone with a wider fit? Unfortunately I had to send these back.

I typically love ASICS but this shoe seems short. My big toes hits the front. Good looking shoe and a good price but it doesn't work.

First time trying ASICS after wearing Brooks for years. Lots of padding and support. Only taking a star off because the heel comes up high on the back of my ankle and rubs a little.

I purchased these ASICS -2000 GT5 shoes to replace a pair of the same make, size, and model number that I had worn for over a year. I am happy with the shoes, but the fit is not exactly the same. These shoes seem slightly longer and narrower than previous pair. My main complaint is that these shoes squeak annoyingly when I walk. There was no squeak in my previous pair, so there must be something slightly different in the construction. All in all, a good crossfit or walking shoe (I don't run, so I can't judge them on that). I'm hopping the squeak disappears.

I have worn Asics for decades! I have ALWAYS loved their shoes to run in, work in, and hike in! These shoes were so pretty! I’m sad to say they were too narrow in the toe box. I’m going to try the GT 2000 6 in hopes that Asics widens the toe box! Dear Asics please help us, we are loyal customers, bring back the wider toe box!

I've always had ASICS shoes for walking and running. This pair came in and I've found that it is running smaller in length and width than what the ASICS have run in the past. I got a size 8 as I'm a true 8, however my toe is right at the end and that's never happened before with ASICS. Same issue with the width. If you want this shoe, I'd suggest ordering a 1/2 size larger and hopefully that will work for length and width.

Toe box is small. I usually wear a 10 in Asics running shoes. I do not like to feel the shoes touching my toes when I run. I am returning for half size larger.

I have worn Asics for years at the advice of my foot doctor. This style did not seem to be made like past versions. It ran short and a little wide. I ordered two pairs. I have been wearing one pair for several months now. My narrow foot slides around in this shoe. Was a disappointment compared to the other Asics I have worn in the past. The unworn pair will be returned thanks to Zappos generous return policy.

I was looking forward to getting this shoe as ASICS is one of the few brands that fit my narrow foot. I usually wear a 9 or 9.5 shoe and always order size 10 sneakers. These were size 10 but felt very small. I wonder if they are just making the shoes/sneakers smaller. The previous size 10 fit like a dream!

These shoes were comfortable as soon as I wore them. I ove these shoes.

I got these to replace last year's model and they are too short, I exchanged them for another model of Asics. For reference, I always get a size 6 in Ascics, and they were so short my toes hit the end of the shoe.

Not great support at the ball of the foot. Great support at the heel.

This shoe was smaller than the other Asics size 8's I have been wearing for years.

Only reason i gave only 4 stars is that I have worn Asics for 10 years and the first time ever that a pair is a 1/2 size too small !
