I have been wearing this series (GT2000 and predecessors) for at least 15 years. The narrow has always fit my foot better than any other brand or asics model. I have not worn this one yet. I don't much care for the look - more plastic, less fabric - but I'm sure they will be fine. I'm used to not getting a choice because, typically, the narrow is available only in one of the color choices. Because I have not worn them yet, I am giving five stars for overall and comfort (hoping they will be as good as previous models) and only two for style.

I do not run any more so these are perfect for the elliptical, bike & gym classes.

I have worn ASICS for years and love this running shoe for my very narrow width foot. I typically wear a 7.5 or 8 in regular shoes. In the ASICS I need an 8.5. The new GT 2000-5 felt wider than previous purchases. The GT2000-6 is narrower and a better fit for me. I walk about 6 miles a day. The shoes support my feet very well??

I love ASICS and have had no problems with them fitting my difficult (bunion) feet. I ordered the extra-wide, but these cannot possibly be extra wide; they are tight on my feet from the first time trying on. So I’m not sure about submitting this review until I can find if I was sent the correct width. Otherwise, love the shoes. Cute and supportive.

These are super cute in silver/grey with pink and blue. I ordered a 9 AA and the width is perfect. I agree with the others that these run small between a half and a full size. I'll walk around in them a bit, but think I finally found my new running shoes!

As an 11N, the width was perfect, but the length is just a hair too small. Not enough to send them back, because I know that they'll stretch

I have owned the original GT-2000, and they worked well for me. I had to go half size up from them, and got an XW just like the other shoe. The main difference is that the heel and midsole are narrower in these shoes, and stiffer to boot. I don't mind the narrow heel, since my heels are narrow, but the midsole is not very comfortable. I am getting straining on the outer side of the shoes in the middle. I am hoping they will break in, since they are pretty good otherwise, in the meantime, I will probably look for neutral shoe.

I read the reviews and ordered these in my normal size 8 and also 8.5. The 8's were way too short. The 8.5 fit well except for the toe box which was uncomfortably tight. I have not had this problem with any other Asics, which is all I wear. The cushioning felt great, much better than the last pair of gel Kahana's I have. The gel Kahana's used to feel like these. I have narrow feet and even narrower heels and would not have ever considered trying a wide in these. I returned these and just happened to see them for a cheaper price at an Asics outlet. The salesperson suggested I try the wide and I was very surprised it made such a difference in the toe box and they still stayed on my heel.

I usually run in Gel Kayano and I think these will be sufficient for stability and cushion for the distances that I will be doing.

I got EE, and they fit great. I do have wide feet, and the double e is great. Every other wide width shoe still makes me walk on my own toes. These feel great! And basically no break in needed

I tried a 1/2 size larger because normal size too small at front. Toes hit front. Had to return both pair. Not proper length for me. Nice otherwise.

I love ASICS! I have been a 7 1/2 typically in this brand. However, it’s been varying lately and was too small with this shoe. Remember to order a 1/2 size up and you should be good to go!

The M width was too narrow for me. Unfortunately had to send back.

Very comfortable, the right shoe for some reason squeaks.

These shoes run very short, in my opinion. The extra width was good though. I ordered up an entire size.

I have very picky feet- my arches are in an odd spot and the top of my feet are abnormally high. These shoes are very supportive. I've been using them exclusively at the gym so far. My only issue is that the pressure points on my feet tend to get sore towards the end of my work out. Of course, this may be more of a personal issue than a shoe issue.

Third pair of this style I have had BUT I did order up a half size.

The first time I ordered a 8.5 2E zappos sent just a regular wide by mistake I guess. They were too tight so I ordered a 9 2E but they were way too big. Ordering an 8.5 2E again and hopefully they get it right this time! We'll see tomorrow!

I have an extremely wide foot. I ordered the extra wide. I could not even get my foot in the shoe. Definitely narrower than other wide or extra wide shoes (if you are looking for wide try Brooks!)

I usually get a 1/2 size up for running shoes and I saw that people said they run small so I did anyways even though I wasn't using these for that. Probably could have gone a full size up and been a better fit. Very comfortable except my toes do get a little sore after long wear do to small fit. Good arch support and cushioning.

I should have taken advice of the reviews and ordered a 1/2 size larger than normal. My regular size was too small. I have returned and am going to try a larger size.

After trying shoe after shoe, this one finally fits. I have a very wide foot and even wide shoes pinched. I ordered a 7 double wide and they fit right out of the box. I even got on-line and ordered a second pair. I do wish manufacturers would at least keep one shoe model the same from year to year. I wore Gel-Kayano in a 6.5 regular width for years and they just kept making them narrower and narrower. This is a good alternative but I wish it has the arch support of the Kayano.
