I’m between an 8 and 8.5. The 38.5 was a good fit. I got them in “gray” which is more of a taupy gray. I love them. Wish they were in stock in more colors in my size.

These shoes are so stylish. Like a new twist on an old, staple shoe: the loafer. The chocolate color is gorgeous and has a slight reptile print overlaid on it. I got numerous compliments on them last week when i wore them for the first time.

Fit was fine. However, I ordered these shoes in brown - and when they arrived, they were a yellow color. I thought a mistake had been made, and customer service was very responsive and helpful. However, when I reordered, they sent another pair that were the wrong color AGAIN - this time a grey color. I will not be trying for a third time.

A fresh look, love it! Fits well and doesn't slide. Grey color goes with so many outfits.

In love. Perfect for the NY fall weather. I’ve worn them with jeans paired with casual and/or dressy tops for dinner with friends. They’re comfortable if you’re on your feet all day. Received many compliments.

I love these flats! So much so, I own three pair of them! I find that they are comfortable and I can wear them all day with no issues. They are also super cute and well made. I always get compliments on them too.

A little tight on purchase - which was weird because when I tried on in a store the 38.5 was perfect, but the pair I got felt different. Anyway, I patiently wore them around the house with socks for a couple days in the evening. Lo and behold, by day 3 they were perfect without socks. Super stylish. From what I can tell, they may be inconsistent on sizing, based on my experience. I'm usually an 8 or 8.5 - I got the 38.5. Very happy after the break in with the purchase, although the quality isn't quite what I expect for the price. I love them, however, and am considering a second pair!

I’m crazy about these shoes. I’m an 8.5-9 and my foot runs a little narrow. The 39s slipped on me heel around the house but I couldn’t part with them so I wore them to work. They stayed on just fine with no heel slipping so I’m glad I didn’t return them. The back does hit my heels and it would probably be an issue if I walked around a lot in them. I plans to just stand around and look cool so that’s fine.

These shoes are adorable! I had been eyeing them for months and finally made the purchase. It did take 3 times ordering to get the right size - I’m usually a 6 and those were way too big. The 5.5 fits perfect! Thanks Zappos for the fast shipping!

So fabulous I can't even stand it. Color is a bit lighter in real life.

I love these flats*boots!!!! I wear them all year long, and they are beautiful vintage burnished leather. The wine is a color I have been waiting for, for a year or two. It was called red at one time, now wine , although nothing purplish about it, really a subdued terra-cotta color. These won't last online. Don't hesitate. I also own black, canary, and now happily wine. I wear all black a lot, so this is my pop of color. They are comfortable but don't plan to walk miles and miles. They can be resoled, reheeled, so they are not cheap, throw away shoes, like the knock offs in the discount store. You will love wearing dressy or casual for years.

Love love love. I have wide feet and these are PERFECT! They could not be more comfortable and easy to walk in. No breaking-in time, no awkward parts that rub against your feet, no blisters, just perfect. They're super flattering and I get compliments all the time. Highly recommend!

I wear size 5 or 5.5, depending on shoe; ordered a 35 in this shoe and it fits absolutely perfect!! usually have problems with european sizes, but this shoe was different. Looks great with either jeans or leggings.

So I'm just here to echo everyone else's review to say that these are AMAZING. I initially sized up in the Whiskey Taupe as others had, and quickly exchanged them for my proper size (38.5), which fit so much better. I will say the ankle seems to widen up some, so they don't narrow in and mold to your ankle as I kind of expected them to. Regardless, it's a fantastic shoe that goes with so many things - I wear them with jeans (skinny and boot - it's flattering), skirts, shorts and dresses. I've worn them so much I'll need another pair. I've seen the alternate versions, but these really are worth the price and seem to get better every time I wear them.

Loved these so much in tan that I got them in black. The leather is really soft and requires no breaking in.

I wasn't sure how these would work because I have very narrow feet, and the heel did slip quite a bit. But they are SO good looking on, and comfortable, so I put some adhesive heel pads in the backs and now they fit perfectly. They are gorgeous!

Beautiful leather with no rubbage issues. Ordered a 7.5 originally but 8 worked much better. The color is a true brown.

Absolutely love these shoes! I'm already figuring out what other colors I want. They fit true to size, are comfortable after maybe a day of breaking in and even that wasn't painful. They elevate any outfit and I receive numerous compliments every time I wear them.

These shoes are worth the money! They are so comfortable and I get many compliments on the style. I purchased the brown and the color is great. I will be purchasing the black and the grey. I have owned them for a few months and they are holding up well with weekly wearing.

This is a super cute shoe that is comfortable straight out of the box. I typically wear anywhere from 8-9. With Frye, I am typically an 8.5, running shoes - 9.0. The 8.5 fit best for me in this shoe. I tried on the 8 which was much too small. 9.0 was too big and my feet were falling out of the shoe. Whiskey taupe is a beautiful darker cognac color. Brown is more of muted natural color with more yellow in it.

The leather is butter soft and they are extremely comfortable and a little bit edgy! Absolutely beautiful shoes! A little pricey, but in this case, you get what you pay for. These will be my “go to” booties in the spring and early fall!

I love love love these shoes. They fit tight at first but after loosening up they fit great. I even wore them line dancing and got tons of compliments.
