Unique style.

I love the style of shoe. The colors are very deceiving. The picture looked nothing like what I received. Free People needs to be consistent.

Felt a little “clunky” to walk in.

Cute, but very long looking. Just did not look right on my foot.

I have 7.5 size feet. My feet are not narrow but do not look wide. But normal width shoes don't fit me. I really wanted to keep these shoes but my feet were wider than these shoes allowed. Granted I live in the hot desert and that doesn't help. But lucky you with narrow feet and get to wear these.

This review is strictly for the black Royale flats. I have ordered two pair (size 37), returning the first pair because they were too big, and the second pair is also too big, so I will be returning those and ordering a third paid. If those are too big I will give up on black. I already own the taupe, and brown, and they fit perfect. Has anyone else had this experience with the black? I am glad Zappos is a customer friendly site.

I love the shoe except that i wear a normal size 11. The 42 felt short and narrow. So disappointed that i can’t keep it but fits way too small

Really beautiful shoes, but should not have walked half a mile to break them in...nearly rubbed my entire heel off. The blisters were so bad I'd be scared to wear these shoes if even minimal walking is involved.

I ordered it originally in Brown in a 40, then Canary in a 39. My true shoe size is an 8.5EE so to compensate in 'normal' width shoes I generally wear a women's 9. These shoes look great on other people but on me I couldn't get the right color, and the overall shoe shape did look as good on me as it does on Instagram, I think the toe looks maybe too pointed. The brown was as light as my pale Caucasian skin, and the yellow was really mustardy and not the perfect hue I was hoping for. A 39.5 would have probably worked but no good color remains in that size. I would say the leather is very soft, it feels like it would show wear and age too easily. I was so excited about these shoes but I don't love them, and for the price, I had to return them. The 39 was way too short, the 40 too long and narrow.

I like the style. The color on Zappos website lists the color I ordered as "grey." The color is taupe or beige. They run a bit large. I'm returning these to Zappos and purchasing the true "grey" colored version of the shoes from freepeople.com

The shoe is not as soft as described and is much narrower than expected.

I loved these, but I am normally a 10, sometimes 9.5 but the 41 were too small. Tight in the front and when I took steps they seemed a bit short for my foot. They could potentially stretch out... but for the price tag I don't want to risk them not stretching :(

I love these shoes. I receive compliments every time I wear them, without fail. Unfortunately, they've stretched a TON in the past two months. They're to the point now that I can no longer wear them without walking out of them. Buy them small, people! They will stretch!

These shoes are SO STYLISH and I really wanted them to work. But the leather was too stiff and they rubbed me in a couple of places. I was not wearing socks, but I don't usually wear socks so that's a non-negotiable for me.

They were great shoes but as other reviews stated the color was way off. I ordered a medium brown and received beige. Returned and now trying the whiskey...let’s see. I love the style and really want a pair.

The site recommended a 40 for my size 10 foot. I ordered a 40.5 because it was what was in stock. It was way too small surprisingly! And the color was very light and cool toned. Like a beige color. Not a warm cognac like the photo suggested. Very surprised and sadly disappointed!

Odd fit. Usually a 7 but that was too tight. Went for 7.5 and it’s a tad bit too big which caused my feet to rub inside and bruise my toes :( Disappointing because they’re super cute, but definitely not comfortable, or worth the price if you’re in pain! I bought heel cushions to help with the fit, but again my toes suffer in these. I don’t have wide feet so idk, maybe I should have tried stretching out the 7’s (before wearing them) I wouldn’t recommend these, but I guess they may work for some people according to other reviews. Oh and the brown’s were a beige-y color but still nice.

I am sure these shoes fit most people, but I have bunions and the side entry just doesn't work with my foot. The ball of my foot is simply too wide to slide into the shoe from the side. If you have bunions or a wide ball, these may not fit you. I was really hoping they would too but they are going back :(

Much too narrow and the color was more gray or beige than the beautiful brown pictured on the website.

So sad that I have to return this pair of shoes. I wear an 11M and this feels much more like a 10. Wish they'd make it in a 43!

The shoes I received were definitely not brown, they were a very light tan saddle color.

Unfortunately these were a big disappointment. I found the shoe to be rather heavy and clunky, with the sole being quite stiff. And the fit was way too big. I'm size 7.5 and ordered the 38. They are going back.
