I got the blue metallic color and it was just what I've been looking for. I was just hoping it'd be a little easier to slip into the shoes, but I have to pull them on, unlike my similar Sperry sneakers. If I could easily step in, these would definitely be a 5! Still comfortable, though.

Nice style gray color was good looking. Medium support. Only returned because they were a bit too wide foe my narrow foot.

Great upgrade from traditional Toms. They were snug the first day but I expected that since I have wide feet, but after that they fit great. They have thicker bottoms than most Toms, which gave them better support. I have weird feet and can hardly wear any shoes because they're too thin or have hard bottoms or are not wide enough, but I wear these a few times a week with no problems. I don't wear them with socks, but I should probably get some little footlets because they do cause my feet to sweat a little when I wear them all day.

Black leather is stylish and comfy but this style fits half a size too big. I'm usually a size 9 but I had to make a return to get a 8.5 instead.

I usually order a 1/2 size down in the classic canvas Toms, but in this style they were too small.

Cute and comfortable

I really love the way these shoes look, not very supportive but they're okay for just everyday wear. The biggest problem is they are very low cut so it's tough to find socks to wear with them.

These are great shoes. I find there is a lot of variability in Tom's shoes in size. Normally I wear a 9.5 shoe (size 40 euro). I ended up going with 8.5 in these because I know they stretch a little. They are a little narrow in the toebox but a little wide in the heel. So since I plan on wearing them without socks, the size 9 I ordered was just too sloppy on my heel. The footbed is very comfortable and I love the more substantial sole than the Toms classics, although I can tell they will take a little more breaking in to get than comfortable.

I really, really, really wanted to love these shoes. Unfortunately, for me, the heal portion is a bit too tall. I knew if I kept them, my Achilles would get blistered to bits. I'm sure I could get heal lifts, but then the shoe part would get too snug. Alas, they are going back. :(

The Avalons I’ve owned for several years ran small (I’m usually a 9.5 and have a 9 in my current Avalon’s). The new pair I ordered felt big. Love the metallic rose gold , so I’m returning and ordering an 8.5 and hope they’ll fit better!

Love these shoes to slip on!! Toms stretch out after wearing a few times so best to get a half size smaller.

I have multiple pairs of Toms, but these were too large. The fabric was quite stiff, but I believe it would have softened over time and become even more loose, so I had to send back and go with a different shoe.

Love the look of these shoes! Only issue is with the cut of the heel-it’s a little high and within 5 minutes of wearing I had severe blisters. Hoping that with a few more wears they will break in like my previous TOMS.

I love TOMS Avalon shoes. That being said I had to return this last pair because I was expecting a shoe that was mostly black with a bit Of metallic color but it was mostly metallic with a little bit of black. Not what I was looking for

I have wide feet that are bony. Usually wide shoes, which these are, are made for people with pudgy feet. Mine are not pudgy, so these fit in the width, but feel loose everywhere else and especially don't fit in the heel. I'm going to keep them. I like that I can just slip them on. I also like the nubby fabric with the fabric crossing over the toe. I got the navy and I wear them with my dark skinny jeans. They'll do!

I purchased these shoes for my young adult daughter. I had noticed her standard Tom's needed replacing. She usually wears a size 7. We both thought they were super cute and offered a little more comfort support than her last style, but the heel slipped quite a bit so I ordered the 6 1/2 for her. Unfortunately they were too tight. She tried the 7 again and wore them in the house a little but they just slipped too much in the heel. No one wants a blister. Unfortunately I had to return both pairs.

These were super cute. But I returned them because the sides and back seemed to go up higher on my foot than other shoes. I could tell they would cause blisters just by taking a few steps in them.

These made my feet feel a bit sweaty and they're not as comfortable as the other TOMS despite the extra padding

I bought these in 2 colors and for some reason they each have different soles. The metallic linen ones have a nice rubber non-slip sole, and the light gray ones have a slippery, almost plastic-like sole. The metallic ones with the non-slip sole are great. Returning the other ones.

I ordered these slip on shoes as an alternative to traditional boat shoes and flip flops, which are not very secure when maneuvering a boat. They are super comfy and fit very well, maybe a tad longer than they are wide on my foot but not tight at all and from what I've heard about Tom's shoes, they will stretch as they break in. They look great! I love the light grey and can wear them with almost anything; leggings, jeans, shorts, khakis, etc. The only complaint I have, and this is probably a non-issue for most, is that I was hoping for a non-slip sole. The first time I wore them to the grocery store, it rained and they were slippery on the parking lot painted areas (lines and on the speed bump I had to walk over). I've not yet worn them on the boat, but am hoping that by then they will have worn enough to minimize slipping on the wet surfaces. If not, they may not be ideal boat shoes, but I'll still wear them for everything else.

The soles on these were different than my other avalons. Not nearly as soft and supportive. Not sure why different colors of the same shoe all fit so differently!

Super cute shoes but they were rubbing on the back of my ankle and I have to return them.

The backs were too high for my foot and had I worn them, I would have been flirting with blistered heels.

The blue still has a removable inserts but the gray drizzle does not. I’ve been using these for 10 years as house shoe to wear my orthotics so need the removable insert.
