I was on the hunt for a athletic shoe that had good support and would accommodate my orthotics. The shoe was very narrow for a wide and also small. The shoe was too narrow for my orthotic. I purchased NB 990 instead and they are great

This is a very firm shoe. If you need support, this may be the shoe for you. I normally wear Asics Nimbus and thought these would be comfortable but they were not. They were returned.

Unfortunately I really wanted this shoe to fit. I have rheumatoid arthritis and it just didn't not have enough cushion for me!

The balance of this shoe is radically different from my previous pairs. My back aches and my left foot tingles while wearing them. I will have to go to the walking store and find a replacement.It was a waste of my money.

My foot didn't stay in this shoe. I ordered my normal size (8) and my foot kept flopping out. I couldn't have sized down because I had just enough toe room and it was just wide enough... any smaller and it would've been too small. The didn't work for me. I didn't like that my heel kept jumping out. I tried tying the shoes tighter and it just didn't work out.

This is a sharp looking shoe! At first they felt great. In a short while I noticed that they were not wide enough so I have an EE on the way. I also ordered asics shoe to see how they will fit. Thank-you Zappos!

Really liked how the shoes felt when I tried them on -- the toe box had ample space without being too wide and the arch support seemed good. However, after running in them only 2 weeks, I began experiencing severe pain in the ball of my right foot and an intermittent numb sensation in the toes of both feet during runs. I don't know whether I just got a "one-off" shoe or if this will be a consistent problem with this model. I had been running in some older Nikes prior and did not have any issues with my old shoes. Also did not do anything different than usual with my runs, so unfortunately it must be the Brooks. The arch support after 2 weeks is also not fantastic. I have a medium width foot and am an overpronator. Sad that these shoes didn't work out and that I'll have to lay off running for a while due to foot pain :(

I've bought three different pair of this shoe before in different colors and been very satisfied, but this time I ordered the exact same size 10 extra wide, and while the width was right and they didn't send me the wrong size according to the label, the shoe is MARKEDLY shorter as I can tell by putting it up against the old shoe. (Didn't do that until I tried it on and it didn't feel comfortable like my old shoe.) Very frustrated on the inconsistent sizing and won't try again, especially as the colors I like better are no longer available in my size, but I was willing to get this color for the good (I thought) fit, and then it didn't fit at all and I'm stuck with returning. Disappointing. Don't understand the inconsistency.

I have been buying this model for years. Unfortunately, the shape of the toe box seemes to have changed and rubbed my little toe... This is a shame as they were my favourite sneakers. I have wide feet & bunions and it is hard to find decent shoes to work out in. Sadly, I had to return them.

These shoes seem short and narrow even though I bought a size larger than normal and they were a wide width.

For wide feet this shoe runs small. Used to love Brooks and have tried to order twice now and returned both times. Not what they used to be.

Toe box is too short! Width is barely okay, but , damn, that short box!! It will serve up blisters and pain quickly. I got the black one and it looks great. I mean how often does Brooks make an all black shoe for women? Frankly, I like my shoes subtle. I've been passing over Brooks for the last 2-3 years because they began making shoes that were too narrow. I was hoping this year Brooks would get back to their reputation of making normal/wide shoes that fit properly. Unfortunately, this is not the case with the Adrenaline GTS 17. Black, classy, and beautiful, but unfortunately it runs short and tight. I will have to send it back.

Disappointed that this is the sneaker that continues to be my "best match". I feel like I am running on flat tar! Hard sole and not much support. I am going to try them for another week but if they continue to make my feet and ankle hurt I am going to have to return them.

Way too small! Order a full size up. Photo doesn't convey the "shininess" of the details. Very reflective trim, which I did not like. Photo also makes the "Night Sky" color more attractive than it is. Actual shoes looked like a dark grey. Very disappointed. Immediate return.

The 16s of this model came out the box practically molded to my feet-- not so with the 17. Too narrow and long. News flash Brooks, when we're ordering an extra-wide shoe we need a serious toe box. I thought I found a fun, cool-looking alternative to New Balance but I guess not. Sigh

I have worn these only a handful of times and the rubber on the bottom is lifting off in a couple spots. I have not even run in them yet. Also I ordered up a half size as recommended and they feel too big. I am not happy. I have worn them outside of my house so I probably can't even return them now. I am calling Monday to find out.

If you are a runner and like a cushioned shoe this is not for you. These shoes are like a very very firm mattress there was nothing comfortable about them. I have been running in the original Brooks Launch and loved them but they changed the recent versions of the launch and they don't work for me. I thought I would try these. I like Brooks but this style just wasn't for me. Also rubbed my big toe near the seem in the medium width which is strange since I have more of a narrow foot.

I ordered the heather gray pinstripe and am pleased with them overall. I wear a size 12 M, and found them to be true to size and width. The gray color is darker than pictured and the purplish insignia adds a nice touch. They are orthotic-friendly and mine fit in on top of the liners in the shoe nicely. The arch support is good and I would recommend these shoes.

I have been wearing Brooks Adrenaline running shoes for years, but, for me these were very uncomfortable. I tried them for a few months, but on vacation they were so uncomfortable I could barely walk. Sorry to say I am sending them back

Very poorly made, it's like you're wearing socks with a plastic sole.

Very uncomfortable shoes. Felt a i/2 size to small. Very tight across the toes. It hurt every time I walked in them. The heel dug into my ankle causing pain. Returning these.

these are seriously the worst shoes I have ever tried to run in. I bought them 3 months ago and finally tried them for the 3rd time yesterday. My legs and feet have never hurt so bad. So disappointed to spend this much $ on shoes that I will now have to get rid of.
