Overall the shoes are comfortable. However, they are tight over my pinky toes. This has caused painful blisters to form.

These have to go back. I have a narrow heel and wide toe box. I ordered a D width, which always fits. I went up a half size. The length is okay going a half size up, but the width is far too narrow. I also don't think these have much support for over-pronation. My feet were rolling in just standing still. I would never run in these.

The shoe is very stylish, but the toe box is uncomfortable. The toe box tips upward, which may be fine as a running shoe (IDK, I don't run), but I need a walking shoe that will accommodate a heavy sock and an orthotic, and although I ordered a full size larger than my usual, the shoe feels tight--not at the sides, just in the toe box. Also, the shoe has too much "give" at the sides; it is not supportive enough, even with my orthotic.

I love this low key gray color and am VERY disappointed that the toe box presses down on my big toe, causing pain, even when I first put it on. And it is narrow - my toes can't spread out. Other than that, it feels very comfortable and supportive

The arch support in these shoes was fantastic, but they felt at least a half size smaller than marked. Sadly I had to return them.

I'm so disappointed that the Adrenaline 17s just don't work as well for me as the 16s. I seem to be in the minority, but I wore them for half an hour of exercise, and my feet started to ache. Not sure exactly what the problem is; maybe too stiff? I have flat feet, so too much arch support is painful, as it puts extra pressure on my arch, so that might have been an issue, too.
I had to take them off and switch back to my beat up 16s. I'm in the process of looking for an alternative. I've been so happy with the Brooks Adrenaline for years now, so I'm not sure what else will work for me. Hoping the 18s work better for me.

I became a convert to the Adrenaline last year with the 16 and eagerly ordered the 17s when the patterned options came out this year. I'm however deeply disappointed for a few reasons. First, these are a full half size smaller than my pairs from last year (I literally got them out and compared). Second the patterns are frankly, ugly. The "dots" look more like giant hearts than anything. Lastly, the coral colorway is way more of a neon and purple mess in person than it appears in photos, whereas I the kaleidoscope options from last year were just as depicted. I might order a pair of solid color in a larger size, but I found last year that the mesh ran wider than the tight weave of the prints. I can definitely say if a pair of 16s still exists in my size I'll be seeking them out.

Plenty of room in toe box Love the color. However, I am experiencing a good deal of pain since I started wearing these. I have a severe over pronation problem and this shoe seems to be controlling that issue pretty well, but with the change in the way my foot is positioned, I am having quite a bit of pain on the outside of my feet. I am hoping with time, this will get better. Time will tell, I suppose. I think I will have to figure out a way to add a little more cushion in the affected area. By the end of the day, I can't wait to get my shoes off!

I bought the shoe with the gray solid upper (no mesh) and purple Brooks logo. I thought it looked cool, but it gives no room for your foot to stretch! My toes are squished. The GTS 17 feels more narrow than my GTS 16 or 15. The arch support is really good, but it's too aggressive for me, now that I've been hiking almost every weekend. If you have a wider foot, I recommend to stick with the colors of this model that have the mesh upper so your foot has room to breathe. I thought these were comfortable at first since I've been wearing the GTS for 5 years now, but I don't know if I'm going to keep them after wearing them around the house for a week.

Others have posted that the toe box is roomy, but to me they are on the snug side. I don't know if ordering a size up would help, because I'd worry my feet might slip in the shoe. I prefer the Glycerin model, that seems to fit my feet better.

These were tight over the top of my foot and the wide width felt more like a regular fit. Brooks was my go to shoe but the fit changes on the newer model just doesn't work for me.

I've been a Brooks Dyad wearer for at least the past decade. I decided to try something that was more geared toward pronation, so after reading reviews, I decided to try the Adrenaline.
Now I understand why I was fitted for the Dyad.
The Adrenaline is a beauty. I loved the colors, the design. But inside, it was too difficult to find anything that felt remotely comfortable.
I tried it with the original insole - Not enough arch support, but the shoe fit pretty well. I just felt too low.
I tried it with my old orthotics (they've been sufficiently beaten down) - My feet felt okay, but I felt like my toes were constantly touching the top of the sneaker. I could not get comfortable.
I tried with my brand new orthotics - I could walk in them, but it felt like my feet were being stuffed into way too small a space.
It's not the size of the shoe; there's plenty of space in the toe area. I always buy my sneakers at least a half-size up from my regular size (8). I wore thinner socks (I tend to wear thick SmartWool all the time, but wear trouser-type socks in my sneakers). It's more that there's so much arch in the shoe already that having orthotics was too much. But having no orthotic was not enough.
After trying these in all the different ways (repeatedly), I put my Dyads back on, and it was like going home.
Looks like I'm heading back to Dyad-land.

This is a really nice athletic shoe. It felt a little small, but even in the next size up it did not fit me due to a bunion problem I have. The only available size was the regular, so that is all I can speak about. It is quite possible that the wide size would have worked out for me, and I would have been able to rate it 5 overall.

I listened to previous reviews and ordered a half size larger and they fit perfectly. The D width was true to fit. This is a much different shoe than the Asics Gel Nimbus 18, which l also just purchased. The Brooks Adrenaline GTS 17 is a somewhat rigid and unforgiving shoe, more firm and not much, if any cushion, or arch support. But for some reason, l kind of like them. I only use them for running errands and short term wear. If I'm going to be on my feet all day working, l wear the Asics - the cushion and support is EXCELLENT. Like walking on a cloud! I can't imagine anyone running in the Brooks, because of the lack of cushion, but some may prefer them. I LOVE the purple, teal & silver color combo, it's really vivid in person. When it comes down to it l can't really recommend these shoes, because I've been spoiled by the gel nimbus. My flat, wide, tired feet deserve to walk on clouds, and no matter what kind of feet you have, they deserve to walk on clouds, too! Check out the Asics Gel Nimbus 18 if your looking for cushion, comfort and support, but be sure to order a half size larger, because they run small.

I needed new sneakers with great stability, arch support, a wide enough toe box and a lot of padding. I have an illness that makes walking and standing extremely painful. I fell in love with the NYC print pattern but they didn't have it in a wide, so I tried another style in my regular size 8.5 Wide, and the print I liked in a regular width 9.
The 8.5 Wide was too short. Listen to the reviews and order 1/2 size up.
The 9 regular width fit, so these seem to run 1/2 size SHORT and probably a little wide.
The only problem I had is that my left heel slides up and down-- and only my left. This is the first time in 50 years of life that I had a heel of a shoe not fit me. I know I could try things with the laces but I don't have narrow heels-- never had a shoe do that-- so I suspected something was wrong in the left shoe. I wanted to try another pair but there are none in stock... so I had to pass.
If you like these-- but have the sliding heel issue-- try the Saucony Omni 15. Those fit perfect to size and width and have been extremely comfortable.

My plantar faciitis is painful right now so I bought these to hopefully walk/run in. After testing them out for a day out with super feet orthotics, my feet hurt pretty bad after. They feel supportive but are not helping me right now.

I have worn a 92E in this shoe for years. This version is shorter than the previous versions, as other reviewers indicated. I found the 9.52E to be too long and the shoe slipped up and down when I walked. (The shoelaces provided with the shoes are too short to do the usual fixes for slipping shoes.) Anyway, I returned these and bought New Balance 990s instead.

I've been wearing Brooks for years. Sadly this pair didn't work. I have a narrow foot and high arches. The heel box on this shoe sat low and even laced tight my heel slipped when I walked. I think they were the right size they just weren't configured quite right for my foot. I had to return them.

I was tempted to order a half size larger than normal based on the reviews I'd read, but I'm glad I didn't. I am actually stepping out of the shoe in my normal size when I work out. They are more than roomy in the toe box for my WW foot, and I wonder if I wouldn't have been better in a single W, but I didn't realize how big they were until I wore them to the gym. They are still functional for moderate exercise in the gym, but I can't wear them for anything more strenuous. I am disappointed in this shoe, but never in Zappos.

The toe seam on both shoes started unraveling within the first few months of having these shoes. The fabric is failing on the left shoe and starting to rip. The sole is separating on the right shoe. These shoes are primarily worn indoors at work. I'm a Nurse.
