Liked the shoes, fit well for me. But the color was not on target. They look light blue but are a much darker color than pictured.

Very comfortable for size 2E feet. Thank you! Would buy more pairs if they had pretty colors like the New Balance 1080v7. Please make pretty colors for women!!!! The blue looks like a man's shoe and the grey in this shoe looks like a man's gray shoe. Wearing a 1/2 size larger in this shoe than in my usual New Balance size. Excellent customer service from Zappos!

Excellent fit and pretty comfy shoe. I use these for my daily workouts like bootcamp and jogging. The color of the actual shoe is a bit darker than it appears on screen... wish they were a lighter shade of grey.

This is an excellent shoe. Plenty of width for my wide feet. I liked the styling and the color, but unfortunately, the shoes did not fit properly for me. The arch support is excellent. Good and firm. But the insoles that come with these shoes are too soft and squishy for me. If I kept the shoes I would have to replace the insoles with something that would keep my feet from sinking down too deeply into the shoes. Even though I decided to return the shoes I do recommend them for someone needing good firm arch support and stability.

I have wide feet, but these are EXTRA wide! I also wear a 9 and they feel more like a 10! They have so much support under the heel that it makes a loud noise whenever I step on a hard surface -- clunk! clunk! clunk! Very sturdy though!

Nice shoe, well built, but didn't fit me right.

These are well-constructed shoes. My previous experience with Balance shoes is that they last a long time. I am expecting these to do the same. Arch support is excellent. The design is a matter of taste, but the selection of various colors for each model is well-thoughtout.

Not the softest on the feet but the arch support and stability were better than I get with most sneakers and that was the priority. I have bad feet and arch pain and these definitely help!

This is one of the most comfortable shoes I have ever bought. I wore them all day the first day I took them out of the box.

I' had difficulty to find pair of athletic shoes,since I' had multiple problems with my right foot, including, bunion and extra wide and very sensitive feet. I' was not sure about the size in extra wide in this NB 940v3 model.I' ordered my regular 7.5, but in extra wide I 'need only size 7.These shoes were very comfortable right off the box,with enough padding for my super sensitive feet. They have adequate support.The only drawback for me is,that because they are extra wide,they are also wide in heels,which create some extra space. Zappos staff was very helpful with return of the first pair. They sent me the second pair at no charge,even before I' sent them back the wrong pair. Thank you, to Zappos staff and efficient customer service

These are very comfy. Unfortunately I need a little bigger toe box. They really are soft and add spring to your step! They also had good arch support but were also flexible and allowed for my normal gait.

The running shoe was the right size but cut much too wide in the heel. It slipped off my heel even when it was laced tightly.

The picture shows this sneaker as grey and peach, but when I received it, it was grey and bright pink. If I did not need these sneakers for a trip I was going on, I would have returned them. They do not look as nice as the picture that was in the description. They are actually an ugly color.

I loved my 940s so hoped this new version would work just as well. I have an extra wide foot with a high instep, and I use orthotics. I typically lace my shoes with "lock lacing" at the end to try and prevent my heel from slipping as it's narrower than my forefoot by a lot. No matter how I adjusted my laces, my heel just kept slipping. The shoe is very cushy, but as I use it primarily for working out and those movements often require me to flex my foot, having my heel slip so badly was just unacceptable. I'm disappointed as my 940v2 work great - they're just old and need replacement.

This shoe is listed as overpronation and stability. I have several pairs of New Balance that are designed for overpronators. These do not help. As soon as I put them on, my foot turned in as I walked. It was also tight (rubbed bunion) on one foot. I ordered as 8.5 wide although usually wear 8 wide. It did help in the toe box fit. So if I didn't have bunion and didn't overpronate , they were very comfortable! The cushioning on bottom was very good.

These were a good fit overall and looked fine, but there is something about the shape of the sole that causes it to rub painfully on the outside edge of my foot, so I have to return them. I can only imagine how badly it would hurt to run a mile in these.

The size was fine, but the comfort of the shoe was stiff and unappealing for my taste. I prefer the mesh fabric on the top so my toes do not feel "trapped."

The shoe was wide — maybe too wide for my foot. My old size 11 1/2 WW, 940 pair fit better and less clunky. On this model, The heel is very roomy. I need a big toebox but I don’t have a fat foot or wide heel, so I sent it back. I love that new balance makes a size 11.5 and Zappos carries it. For my fussy foot, I need to try on all the available widths and sizes near my size. And Zappos lets me do that.

I love New Balance Shoes but just did not like these pair. I wear a size 8B and these shoes had a nice roomy foot bed but my heel kept slipping. They are a bit clunky and look big on your feet. The shoes had enough room to fit my Orthotics but they just didn't feel comfortable. They are stiff, which i expect for a 900 series shoes. My Podiatrist recommends New Balance shoes with numbers >800 because they have the best arch support. The shoe should be stiff and not bend easily. Overall, I like the 830v4 series better.

My usual sneaker was not available so I ordered these to replace them. They were not as comfortable so I am returning them. The insole did not have the cushioning my usual brand did. I have plantar fasciitis and don't think these will work for me.

When I am ready for an athletic shoe, New Balance usually tops my list because they almost always have one or two good looking styles to choose from in a narrow width. For the narrow footed, it's really, really hard to find shoes that don't look your grandmother's orthotics! And I also tend to overpronate. Although this one was decently stylish and are supposed to be geared for overpronation, this one missed the mark for me. Compared to very similar New Balance shoes I have purchased, there does not appear be very much padding for the bottom of the foot in general. And it's not a "breaking in" issue. Hard on my arch and just not a comfortable step in comparison. I will keep them because I have already walked around in them. Just disappointed. Purchased the grey ones in a 9N.
