It needs zippers on line pockets.

The inner fleece jacket is not warm. I intend to buy the 300gm fleece. Other than that I love the jacket.

Ordered online to replace my old ski jacket. I live in Colorado and the moment I put this on I knew it would not be warm enough. Sure, I could layer up underneath, but I prefer simplicity. I imagine it would be a great jacket for casual wear, but it's not what I need for the mountains. Also, the fit is small. Order one size above what you would normally wear.

Bought this for my husband (I bought the women's) last year. It's a nice coat, not very warm tho. The Apex jacket inside wasn't even close to being able to stand up to WI winters. You may as well be wearing a sweatshirt and a windbreaker outside. But, if you swap out the Apex for the Denali... voila! Nice and cozy! I have the down Denali and my husband has the regular Denali. The Apex is a nice fall outer layer, so its not all bad. I love all three coats as does my husband.

This jacket is very bulky. If you're looking for something to wear around town I would not recommend this jacket. The collar flails out like a 70s butterfly collar, personally this looks silly to me. If you're 12,000 feet in the mountains it would be great, otherwise go with something around 31 to 34 oz. The Arrowood is a nice alternative.

Fleece in sleeves made it stick to shirts and difficult to remove.

liner material seems to have no insulating value as the jacket feels cold at or below freezing.
Also the inner side of the liner is a rough felt, which makes it hard to slide on without pulling your shirt sleeve up. A smoother material would make the jacket easier to put on.

I work outside a lot and ride a bike even during the winter. Aside from the snaps being flimsy, the drawstring catches on the back of my bicycle seat, which has almost caused me to fall. I'm considering returning it.
Your descriptions of the jackets could be simplified if they said something about the temperature range of these jackets, and maybe something like "suitable for spring and autumn."

Not warm enough for alternatives in the same price range.

I use this jacket to stay warm and dry. One huge problem it that the angle of the side lower pockets... they get snagged on everything because the opening is facing forward. I ripped the pocket stitching within the first week! Bought from an outlet store and can't return it!!!

I bought this jacket in the winter of 2013 and was disappointed. It's simply not warm. I live in Maryland which has relatively more mild winters than places like Boston or NYC, however, we do see our share of bitter temps in the teens/single digits accompanied by wind. I consider about 25 degrees F and below some downright cold temps that require a performance jacket. I have a large dog and go on daily morning and evening walks with him for periods of 20+ minutes. I was surprised at how poorly this jacket performed in cold conditions. It "feels" like a shell-- stiff and cold. Plus, if it's windy, forget it. The wind literally cut right through it. Even in long sleeves, strong gusts penetrated to my skin in the body and especially the arms. Someone else said "it's not built for a real winter" and I agree. It looks awesome and is very stylish, but look elsewhere if you want performance outside of walking to and from the car in 35 degree weather. By the way, I ended up purchasing a clearance rack Columbia that was water resistant and insulated and it beat the pants off this jacket. 100% waterproofing and style are the pros for the Condor.

Got this jacket for Christmas and I have to say that I'm quite disappointed. Took my dog for a walk in the evening in -8C (which is completely normal for this time of year) and I felt quite chilly the whole walk even though I was wearing a warm sweater underneath. This jacket is certainly not made for the cold and I will be returning it and getting something that will withstand a Canadian winter.
