Loved the look feel of these shoes, but after less than 9 months of wearing them, water leaks into the sole (I step in a light puddle my socks get wet).

Dual-width does not work. Pulling out the cushion for people with wide feet is a cost cutting move that J&M continues to implement. The problem is it is uncomfortable. It has become almost impossible to find any J&M shoes that have an actual wide width available. After 35 years of buying your shoes, I think I'm finally done.

Love the shoe. Had my last pair for over six years! Was really disappointed to find out that J&M stopped making wide sizes in certain length shoes. They claim that taking the insert out makes the shoe a wide which it doesn't and takes away some the the cushioning benefit. Really disappointed that they stopped making my size in a wide. The other shoe manufacturer I buy from still makes all sizes in a wide. Really bummed.

The shoes are beautiful. First time ever that my love of my life had trouble getting on a pair of shoes. Too tight and too small. We ordered the same size as always for 40 years. These don't work. Even the 3W is not wide enough -- hurts. Returning.

I haven't worn this new pair yet but have a pair I bought 2 years ago that seems to be of much better quality. I lifted up the extra comfort inner sole for more room and noticed some bad stitching. Please see attached. I am going to return for the same (hopefully better quality) show. Thus new pair also seems to run smaller than my old pair.

This was My go to shoe for years and I worn then into the ground. However The last two pairs lasted only a couple outings as the inner sole came unglued in both pairs making them unconfortable to wear. The JM store at the mall said there was nothing they could do. I haven't given up on JM shoes I just won't be buying this particular shoe any longer. Two strikes is enough for me !

The 'wide' version (after removal of the insert) is still too narrow a fit. Very disappointing, as the previous X 3 E with the insert cushion was a great shoe. Unfortunately discontinued. Will not purchase these again.
