I have a high arch, high instep and with my orthotic which I need to combat plantar fasciitis the boot was too tight. I have looked in vain for 4 years. I am very sad that shoemakers do not make boots to accommodate these issues. I wear a size 9 W. I have to return. The boot was just exactly what I’ve been searching for.

Desperate to find a pair of booties - and so sad these did not work. I wear a wide, but the shape of the toe bed even in the wide was too narrow for comfort. They’ll be going back

I read that others had difficulty with zippers but I thought I'd take a chance. Found the same for the pair I received, only to realize that the interior zipper is decorative only. The outer zipper is the functional one. Should have been reversed to have interior zip functional instead. Too bad. Having to return. Otherwise would have been ok but not as comfortable as I would have hoped.

I bought these last year. After sitting in my closet for the summer, I put them on to see the glue from the sole is oozing out. Everything was sticking to it. Would not recommend for the price.

Like other reviewers, I received a pair with the sticky glue-like substance surrounding both shoes on the soles. Why is Hush Puppies still sending these shoes out when they know there is a problem? And more concerning, why is Zappos doing the same? I tried getting some of the glue off but it’s not possible and would ruin the actual shoe. These are super cute and what I was looking for but I would not order again. Sad this didn’t work out.

I feel these shoes look boxy and a little like masculine workboots. Additionally the fit is strange. The instep sags down when I stand, the heel doesn't feel like it comes up far enough and the inside zipper that doesn't function digs into my ankle to where my foot started falling asleep. The inside cover for the zipper is poorly designed, far too bulky. My foot is on the narrow side and often shoes are too wide in the heel but these are tight in the heel yet the front of my foot swims around. I wanted something casual for jeans, neat for work and comfortable for working with kids. I might could put up with the less than perfect fit but even after the 10% off & my $10 reward these aren't worth anywhere near the cost and are going back!

I really wanted these to work but they are MUCH too narrow. i ordered a 10W which is my usual size and they hurt the second I put them on. I had heard that Hush Puppies run small but with the rounded toe on this style, I thought they would be ok but unfortunately I was very wrong. If you have wide feet, these are NOT the shoes for you. This is based on replacing the insoles with my orthotics. I started with an 8.5 which is usually my size, but they were too big. The size 8 fit perfectly on my left foot, but the right shoe felt smaller in width across the metatarsal area of my foot making the right shoe too tight. I'll be returning them. I'm so disappointed as I thought the brown was a good looking shoe with jeans or chinos and the fit of the left shoe was perfect.

Do not buy. These boots (and the two other size/color options I tested) came with sticky glue around the entire edge of both soles. I wore the boots twice. The gummy area collected every hair and dirt particle possible- it was disgusting! Worse, the glue rubbed off onto the leather of the opposite boot and WILL NOT COME OFF. Two wears, and the boots look like trash.

I am returning these shoes for 2 reasons. They are extremely uncomfortable. Also they had some kind of glue or adhesive all over them. What a sticky mess!

Absolutely should have believed the review about the zippers on these shoes. They are IMPOSSIBLE to unzip. Even if I could have forced them to open, I wouldn't have kept as it would be a fight every time I put them on or took them off. No idea how the shoe fit as neither my husband or I could get the zippers down for me to try the shoes on.
