Quality boot, but due to my narrow ankles and calves, too loose on me, even with lacing . Had hope they might fit due to other reviews indicating they worked for skinny calves, but will be returning these.

Foot bed was great and comfy enough, but the shaft is where I had the trouble. My calves are 15 1/2 so these should have done ok. I only put them over my legs with no leggings or socks and if I loosened the laces to adjust, I had nothing to tie. They looked ridiculous on me at that point. I don't agree that these will adjust for the larger calves. I just have no luck with shoes this entire year.

I like that they're adjustable in the calf but the ankle is very bulky and sloppy. I really like the color & the leather.

The upper part of the boot fit very well when laced tight for smaller calves. However, the shoe part of the boot was much too wide.

First off,I love these boots, they are super cute. However there were a couple of problems... The shaft is pretty narrow, I have really average sized calves and they are a little tight even with the laces. If I loosened them up too much more, there wouldn't be enough lace to tie a bow. The biggest problem is that the left shoe was like a completely different shoe! The right one fit perfectly, so comfy. I wore it around my house for about 10 minutes and loved it. Then I put on the left shoe, and it was like my foot was in a vice! It is SO MUCH tighter, and it hurt really bad. I wore it to an event and it's getting better, but it is now getting tension lines up the leather by the ball of my foot. I think what I'm going to do is take it to my local boot shop and have them stretch it because they really are a beautiful pair of boots and I love the color, and they would be super comfy...I'm going to keep them but I just thought it was weird.

Although these technically fit me (size 7, with wide foot and small calf), they were way too stiff and uncomfortable, even with soft socks. They were very cute and well made, but comfort is very important to me so I sent them back.

I really liked the lace up detail in the back, and the side zipper. The toe felt a little more narrow than an average 7. The shaft was too narrow for my calf, I could only zipper it just above half way. I am 5'3" and 120lbs, but I do have slightly larger calves than average.

Even laced up completely, they were still too wide for my narrow calves. Also, there really isn't any shaping to the boot, so the ankle is very baggy. (I think any size leg might have this trouble). The leather is also a pebble leather, which was too casual for my purposes. Otherwise, the footbed fit and was comfortable, so I do give them a 5 for comfort.

Comfortable foot bed and pretty color. Unfortunately the leather was scratched and not as fitted as I would like. Ended up going with the Frye Melissa lace up.

Great soft leather but extremely tight on the calves. Even when you loosen the laces something still feels funny around the ankle bone. Unfortunate, really nice looking boots. Sending back.

Initially loved these boots. They look great on, leather is good quality, and the adjustable calf is amazing BUT after about 3 months of moderate wear the heel of the sole was terribly worn down to the point that it was uncomfortable to walk in them for any length of time. I hoped it was a fluke, and Zappos was amazing and let me exchange them for another pair. Unfortunately the same thing happened with the second pair. I can't possibly justify spending this much on a boot that will wear out so quickly. My previous pair of riding style boots lasted for years.

Don't bother if you have 15" calves like the description says. It's way off. Just to get these to zip I had to adjust the laces so much that I could barely tie it and it just makes my calves look ridiculous. Those laces are cute the way they're pictured, not so much when they're stretched all across the back. I don't think that I have particularly big calves but these boots were not designed for me. If you have tiny legs, this might work for you. Otherwise save your money. These are headed right back.

These boots are so gorgeous! However, the leather was stiff and buckled at the ankle and didn't look good on. It may soften over time, but I didn't want to take the chance, given the price. Sadly, I'm returning them!
