Smart Wool socks are the best

My job requires me to work both inside and outside. When the winter arrives, my feet were always cold. I tried many store brands, and even wearing three pair at once, but nothing seemed to work. I chocked it up to getting old or my diabetes. Ten years ago My friend told me about SmartWool. So, i went to the local sporting goods store and bought a few pairs of the Trekking Heavy Crew Socks. I put a pair on and went to work. I then came home and throughout all my old socks. My feet are always warm. Ten years have passed and some of my socks are wearing out. So I googled Smartwool and joined the Smartwool Sock Club. I ordered my six new pairs and they arrived well packaged and in two days. My new socks are the same as my old socks warm, thick, soft and durable. The saying you get what you pay for really applies to SmartWool.

These socks are a Godsend...atttractive enough to be visible, durable enough for wear during hiking long distances, warm without being hot and smothering, cushiony enough to be ultra comfortable, and easily washable. Where have you been all my life?

Love these for wearing around the house instead of bulky slippers! Great for hiking boots as well of course. Thicker than a standard sock, not the best option for standard tennis shoes but perfect for hiking and wearing at home.

These socks are Smartwool's flagship product and I've been wearing them for over 20 years. A pair tends to last me 2-3 years depending on how often I wear them. They don't easily get holes, but over time the wool wears thinner. They are the most comfortable wool socks on the market. The medium weight is great for hiking boots. I wear the hike light socks with casual shoes for work, everyday around town, and travel. The hike ultra light socks are great for dress shoes you would wear with a suit. I wear the trekking heavy socks with my leather-lined boots for some more cushioning. I wash them in the washing machine with my other colored clothes, no special care needed.

Unbeknownst to me, I bought socks that my dad already uses and loves. What a great feeling when he opened and said that's what he buys!

I have been giving these socks to my three sons for Christmas for 15 years! They are thrilled to receive them every year.

I find these socks nice and warm. They keep my feet warm while climbing or sleeping. They run big--I bought a size smaller than what is says to buy for my shoe size.

Compared to many other socks I have tried, this one is durable, comfy, and warm.

I used to wonder why anyone would spend so much on a sock until I got my first pair of Smartwool socks.
