These are the best all season casual socks ever, keep feet warm in winter, cool in summer, never too hot, never wrinkle, never bind around toes, always soft and cushion-y comfy. Stay fresh even with multi-day wear!

These are my favorite socks - I wear them all winter long for everyday day use and for snowboarding , in the summer for hiking and camping. They perform and last.

I found a pair in my sock drawer that someone had given me in the past but I had not worn them. After wearing that pair I asked myself why I didn't have more. The next thing I knew I had ordered 6 pairs. Wear them with loafers, tennis shoes and boots. My feet feel great and stay warm

I started buying these socks to wear everyday. These are my favorite sock because they are very cushioned on the sole and still do not make your feet hot. I usually suffer from hot feet and of all of the socks I have tried these are by far the best. I do not have my feet sweat and the sock have been very durable so far.

I am an avid hiker/backpacker. 82+ miles in 8 days to the summit of Mt Whitney in June 2014. No problems with my feet. I don't intend to be without these socks ever.

I bought my first three pairs in '04. I've hiked the AT and numerous other trails throughout the U.S. since then. I have only one pair left. Not due to wear and tear but family members with sticky fingers. With the weather turning very cold recently I was looking to see if I had better socks when I found that last pair from 04. Whoa! It is a new decade, bet they have a website. Bang!! Ordered three more on the spot. Long story short, I love these socks. They are light weight, strong and some how keep your feet dry. They form around the foot giving comfort and support but do not constrict circulation. They don't slip or bunch. I have never had a blister or even a rub spot while wearing them. They keep their shape wear after wear, wash after wash. No thin spots, no little frizzy ball thingies. A perfect pair of socks. Anyone on their feet all day, any sportsman, or just anyone that knows how important a pair of socks are MUST have these. The ten year pair looks and feels as if it is still brand new. I will certainly replace my everyday socks, dress socks etc., with Smartwool. Also, will replace my other articles of clothing as conditions merit. I can not praise Smartwool enough. The products, service and personnel are above great!! Look forward to another decade or two wearing these outstanding garments. Thank You!

I often wear hiking and trecking boots in the Winter months particularly in Michigan where I live. My boot wardrobe includes Zamberlan, Lowa, and Kenetrek boots and these wool socks are a favorite of mine because the thickness is perfect as a cushion and liner for these extreme outdoor boots and the activities that go along with them.

Warm and comfy. I wear them with Mens Snow Breaker Winter Boots.

I am almost never NOT on my feet, almost never in any shoe other than clogs or mules, and live in western PA. My grocery shopping business keeps me on the go, especially in the winter, and these socks keep me happier that I have EVER been before about all three of the above. The unexpected arch support and the cushioning at toes and heel are the most exceptional and welcome aspects at first, followed by the insulating and breathable joy that merino brings. Wet feet are still warm feet, and I will never, ever live without these socks again.

I have had several dozen pairs of smart wool socks. They all perform wonderfully and last a year or more with almost daily use of twelve hours or more!

I got tired of buying mediocre "wool" socks at discount stores and thought I'd try a good quality made truly wool sock from Smartwool. I wear smartwool summer and winter. They keep feet cool and dry in the summer and warm and dry in the winter.

I have many pairs of Smart Wool socks in varying degrees of thickness. They saved me on a river trip on the Middle Fork of the Salmon in Idaho. We had snow on the day of put-in and rain every other day. I am an expert skier (female) and Smart Wool socks provide the warmth I need, even on sub-zero days. If you're not already a fan, let me say that the price you pay for a pair of socks may seem a little shocking, but well worth it if you are able to enjoy outdoor activities in comfort.

I wear these socks everyday in the fall and winter as work socks. They are durable and hold up very well. They are super comfortable. My feet do not get cold when I wear them.

I am firefighter for the US Forest Service. I work in my boots all day every day. Lots of hiking in all kinds of terrain and temperatures with weight up to 70 lbs. (line gear, saw, hose, pumps. etc). These protect my feet and keep me comfortable. I wear them with the liner.
