Fit was OK but as a 5E it felt narrower than some 4E's I've gotten. I'd say it was more of 2E.

A little too narrow despite being WW, and not much ankle support. I opted to return it and bought another brand.

I have always had difficulty getting shoes to fit and would always go a bit larger to get them to fit my wide foot. I was overjoyed when these actually did not pinch my foot in width. I was so happy that I did not notice that they were just a tad short. My toes fit, but when walking, they rubbed and banged into the end of the toe box. I broke them in on the sidewalks and then used them on trails in Colarado. They are comfortable, but I just ordered a half size up to get them to fit a bit better. I hope that the XX wides still fit. For anyone with a wide foot, I recommend these!

Fits great. Have really wide feet and it’s really had to find boots that fit. These I can slide into and tie them up no problem. I did order one size wider and one size up in shoe size. They fit great. Will probably buy again if they hold up.

The sizing for these shoes are a joke. My normal shoe size is 12EE. So I had to go with the many reviews which say that the sizing is way too small for your size and had to roll the dice and ordered a 13EEE and low and behold, they fit.

Good for hiking!

So far so good. I've been hesitant to do more than wear them around the house in case I decided to send them back. The reason for this hesitancy is my recent experience at a brick and mortar store a couple months ago. At that time I tried on 5 pairs of shoes, but found none of them to feel very comfortable. I ended up taking the best of the lot, but after wearing those shoes for weeks they hurt and seemed too narrow. I gave up and ordered these Propet Ridge Walkers from Zappos. I have bought Propet shoes years ago and liked them, so this gave me hope. After several days of wearing them in the house for hours, and walking on our deck outside, I'm convinced these will be good for me. I use inserts like Superfeet, and have found there is sufficient room for them in the Propet Ridge Walkers. The shoes look good and seem to be well built. I'm hoping for years of service.

They fit well and are warm. Great for walking/ hiking in the cold.

Almost a keeper. Excellent quality lightweight hiking boot was just what I was looking for; unfortunately would not accommodate my AFO comfortably, particularly in toe box area. Did not expect the box of a 5E shoe to be narrow, felt more like a 2E, which might work for someone who only needs a bit of room in toe, but that's not me. Highly recommend boot in terms of quality and style, IF you can get a good fit. Thanks to Zappos no worries to try again.

They seem narrow for 5EE (extra wide). Nice boot, very comfortable.

Very narrow for a 3E width and the length was a size to short. Otherwise really liked the way it looked and seemed to be built well.

I wear a 12 4e and I bought these at 5e but are still a little narrow compared to my other boots. So far . we had our first snow yesterday and they feel good and are worm and dry. For the money a good boot.

Nice looking boot, but for a 3E they are narrow, more like an E maybe.

I liked the way it looks, but I have wide feet. These are marked as a 5E but fit like a 1E. I will stick with sketchers

I'm uncomfortable making statements about shoes that reflect a product line. Every food is different as is every show. So my comment reflects my experience and in no way reflects the value or fit of this shoe. I like the style and overall comfort of the shoe. I usually order a 4E and ordered the 5E. For me, the shoe felt just barely like a 4E. I usually order an 8.5 and the shoe was a little longer than other shoes I have of the same length.

I really like the style of and comfort of these shoes. I really have nothing bad to say. I did find them a bit long and narrow compared to other shoes I purchased of the same size. Everyone is different, all the shoes are different. This is how they fit for me. Seems to be a great shoe, I hope they last a good long time.

Not as wide as other wide shoes or double wide shoes but my orthotic insert fit into it, and they do not feel uncomfortable at all so that is all that matters.

First, the new boots allowed me to insert my Arizona Brace-Yah!!. My old boots would not even come close to allowing me to insert the brace. I have just worn the boots periodically for several days, so my foot still has to get use to the brace. I was able to use the new boots on my other ankle just by wearing thick socks. So I believe these boots did the trick.

a comfortable fit out of the box

True to length and good arch support. Based on a couple customer comments I ordered 3E which fits much like my other medium width shoes. Plenty of space to tighten laces as these shoes wear in.

I bought these for my husband, who has issues with his feet. He said he felt like there was something wrong in the construction of the right boot; the left boot was fine.
