I bought this as a gift for my boyfriend who isn't really into coats. He just needed something to slip over hoodies and this was perfect! The design is really nice and comfy. He wears an XL and weighs about 240. He absolutely loves this jacket

I love this fleece super warm, comfortable inside, not to puffy everyday wear , in winter and or in spring season all year round kinda jacket not for the summer.

I absolutley love this jacket i just dont understand the reason for why it doesnt come with a hoodie yet the womens version does.

Great jacket. The long fleece on the inside make it extra warm. The wind wall protection is no joke the best I've ever had. I just wish there were other colors other than black. Seriously though this jacket is a softshell that works and feels like a down jacket.

Bought as gifts and everyone loves them. I'm told they keep you warm even in cold weather with just a sweatshirt under. Very comfortable and fit is excellent. Would definitely recommend!

I've searched for a warm thin waterproof jacket for a very long time and purchased many to find the right one. I have found the right one with this purchase.

I mostly wear this in the fall, winter in Minnesota is too cold, but my girlfriend is a big fan of it.

I've had the Apex Chromium jacket for 4 years now, and it has been my go-to daily jacket for 6 months of the year in Minnesota since then. It is the perfect cool-weather, daily/casual use jacket and has held up great for four years. If it ever wears out, I'll be buying another. So far, the only sign of wear after 500+ days of use is thinning of the outer shell layer right at the edge of the cuff I didn't notice it until looking closely for this review. I have it in white, and it is picking up some discoloration in the sleeves from slowly getting dirty. It's a bit tough to clean, and I'd probably go for a color other than white next time. The interior fleece lining is super comfortable and provides enough warmth on its own with just a t-shirt underneath down to about 30F. Throw a light fleece layer under this jacket and it's good for long walks outside down to about 15F. When the temps are moving lower than that, I'm putting this back in the closet and pulling out the thicker down jackets. The softshell is great for blocking moderate wind as well as light drizzle or snow, and looks good enough for casual wear (I wear it to work most days). As advertised, the fit is relaxed but not baggy (still looks clean cut) and accommodates a midweight layer underneath. The jacket is nicely breathable for what I interpret its intended use to be: casual outdoor use. I've never felt sweaty or clammy in it. However, I also don't use it for aerobic activities I use a trimmer fit softshell (without a fleece lining) with some more stretch for activities like winter running or cross-country skiing. The Apex Chromium would just be too hot and doesn't have quite the range of motion. I also don't pick this jacket for any extended outdoor trips like backpacking it's fairly bulky and wouldn't compress down to pack well for something like that (clearly not designed to, so no knocks for that). Overall, an outstanding jacket for daily, casual use in cool weather that has proven to hold up extremely well over time.
