I ordered this for an upcoming ski trip in order to stay warm and it definitely served its purpose. Not only was I warm on the slopes but the underjacket that is removable is now something that I wear almost every day! It looks very nice and is very warm also.

My husband loves this coat! All he ever says is how warm it is and he can't believe it's so warm. He said it's the best purchase ever. Well worth the money. He never has to wear a sweatshirt underneath his coat anymore. Thumbs up northface. My hubby is a happy man with this coat.

Well I needed a new coat one that was functional and stylish. We went to London for Christmas. One day was cold, one day rainy and cold, one day rainy...etc. I was able to customize it to the weather of the day. I stayed dry but warm. The pit zips came in handy as well. Plenty of pockets, and other great functions. Plus, I looked great.

Liked it from beginning , warm, windproof, waterproof. Feels little bit heavy, but once it's on feels good. Good for walking in cold weather. Not really comfortable for driving, have to unzip. Overall really good

I plan to use it skiing and in extremely cold weather

Great jacket, warm and comfortable at all temps. Have hiked and skied and been warm and dry. If you work the venting system you won't overheat. Neck length is interesting. In cold/windy conditions it's great zipped to top or with helmet. Keeps your ears and neck comfortable. In moderate temps when unzipped it's in your face. Good if you're going for the Sherlock look, bad if not. Expensive piece of gear but worth it.

This is the best North Face jacket I've ever worn! I've had multiple North Face jackets in the past and this is by far the best I've ever worn. The warmth and protection the jacket from the winter elements greatly surpasses what I had expected from this jacket. The build quality is outstanding and quite impressive. Along with this the jacket provides a great range of motion for your arms and fits very true to the size provided online. I've never been happier with a jacket. Thank you North Face!

Great jacket, bought it as a gift and he loves it. Fits true to size and looks nice. The 'triclimate' aspect is nice for different conditions

I bought this for my teenage son. He is tall and very thin so I find most coats to be either too short in the arms or too wide/boxy in the body for him. This fits him well all around. He likes that it has several zippered pockets to keep things secured stored and dry while he is skiing. It is comfortable and keeps him warm and dry on the slopes.
