I find the sizing on Rockport shoes and boots to be all over the place. I'm a size 9, but that size is not consistent across your product line. This particular pair of boots will require VERY heavy socks to be anywhere close to a proper fit. This inconsistency is a nagging problem and may discourage me from future orders.

I did not like the style of the shoe I want to return it.

Just seems odd to not manufacture shoes in a bunch of sizes, particularly the most popular sizes (like 10.5 R). I've been checking for months and the chukkas are never available in my size. It's just weird. Rockport clearly needs new management, because whoever runs it now has no idea what they are doing.

size 11 feels like 13, pay attention on the sizing or face a wave of returns

I bought these in the beginning of the year and really didn't get around to wearing them until recently. I've worn the Essential Details for nearly three years, 5 days a week and they are perfect. I figured It's time to reinvest into my feet and these are just terrible. I've given it six different wearing occasions for 9+ hours each and I just can't wear them. They run much larger in comparison to other Rockports and back of the upper part of the shoe just digs into your heel. My feet just float inside of them. I recently purchased the Colden and Rugged and I'm in love with those. But these are just uncomfortable.
