these Chukkas are a nice feel, although be warned that the size is a bit large - I wear 12 wide and I was swimming in these. Nice finish and color. A smooth bottom not ridged so not made for snow but certainly cushy to walk in.

I am a solid 15 Wide, these felt more like a 16 Wide. Loved the shoe - very versatile for work and play. Going to send back and order 14 Wide.

I purchased this mostly for style and the Rockport name, as I've owned a pair of casual Rockport Derby shoes which have held up well. This is a stylish and reasonably well constructed pair of shoes, and I'm hoping they hold up as well as my last pair of Rockports. They're comfortable for short trips about town, although there's not much interior padding, so not sure I'd wear them for extended foot travel. Overall, I'm pleased with these boots, and find myself wearing them at least a couple times a week. Only minor quibble is that I ordered a wide, which is listed as (EE), although compared with my other shoes and boots, this Rockport wears a tad narrow.

i normally wear a mens 8M... this shoe and others of the same style have all run a full size larger. other than that, nice pair of shoes... very versatile.

First, let me say I hate buying shoes. I have short and wide feet and typically have to try on 10-20 pairs of shoes before finding one that fits. I had to turn to Zappos because no shoe store in my town carries Chukkas in a wide width. These Rockport Chukkas were the second pair of boots I ordered from Zappos as the first ones I tried were too big. Boots fit quite nicely in both length and width, they are very comfortable on my feet, and I love, love, love the look of them. But now that I've worn them for a couple of days, the upper rim of the boot is biting into the back of my ankle a bit. So for now, they are uncomfortable to walk in, but I'm hoping they "break in" a bit over time.

I looked at a lot of similar shoes, and the combination of style and comfort won the day. I wear a 9, and needed to return that one to get the 8.5, which fits great. Otherwise, after a couple of wears, all looking good.

Size is way off - they are much larger than their stated size. They are nice boots otherwise. They are a little more formal that i realized from the photos.

I normally wear an 11.5 wide in Rockport, but not in these boots. The 11.5 wide was too long and to narrow. They did.l not feel like they would stretch any in the width, so just returned them outright.

I liked the style and color so much, I didn't read the reviews. these do fit 1/2 size larger, if not a full size. my mistake. and mine were more of a reddish brown? I'd like to order another pair, but I'm skittish they'll be more red, as well. Otherwise, they seem well made and quite comfortable.

Great, versatile shoe for work or casual. Comfortable, soft leather.

These are really great shoes for the money. Quality seems consistent with the money spent ($100) like other reviewers mentioned they do seem to run a little large in the toe box, but for me, I’d rather have the extra space than risk returning for a size down and have them be too small. I prefer the extra space in the toe box.

I was excited to see a boot that came in wide. I'm typically an 11, but after consulting the reviews, I ordered a half-size down. I just tried them on. While, the width was great, even at 10.5 the boots were way too long. The reviews are accurate. This boot easily runs 1 size large. Called Zappos and arranged a quick exchange. They were super helpful. Will update with the new pair.

great shoe.a little stiff, but very professional looking. I am a stockbroker and this shoe looks great with black dress pants. runs big and wide so order a half a size down.

nice boot. comfortable from the start. the sole is a little slippery when new.

Overall, a good comfortable shoe...my only downside to it would be the necessity to change the insole...the one that cones with it just feels awkward against the heel. Got a different insole, and now love the shoe even more!

I bought the brown suede for my husband. They are nice looking and he says they are comfortable with his orthotics inserted. I did ordered 1/2 size down per the other reviews and they fit him perfectly. One shoe squeaks, as did his other pair of Rockport chukkas, thus one star deducted.

Definitely runs big

I absolutely Love Zappos and really wont buy my shoes any where else. I bought the 13D and a 12D hoping they would fit. You did not have a 12Wide which I did find and the fit is perfect. This shoe does not fit to size

I wanted a boot that would function just as well as a work shoe, and also as a more dressy boot for special occasions, and I love ALMOST everything about these boots. I bought the Catalina Tan color/style, and the major beef I have is the leather started scuffing almost immediately from normal wear. They even arrived in the box with a handful of small scuffs. I haven't investigated any buffing or leather treatment yet but I'll need to eventually. Super comfortable and stylish boots, great arch support, minus the issues with the leather.

Rockport shoes are always comfortable and these don't disappoint. However the leather isn't as soft as I would've liked. Maybe my personal preference. Takes longer to break in.
