I love this shoe but the Danskos I have tried this year have a strange placement for me in the arch area. It is like the arch feels like it is placed too close to the big toe. I tried my orthotic and it didn’t change that. Pretty shoe though.

Great, well-made shoes; superior quality and styling, and really DOES make my feet look smaller (as others have noted). However, the tongue of the shoe poked my ankle in a painful way - it’s hard to see in the photos, but it has “points” on both sides that are quite long and jab my ankle with every step. I should have listened to the other reviewers who had the same issue. The fit was great overall, but I returned them due to this issue.

I love Dansko shoes and have many pairs. These shoes are comfortable-the problem I have is the toe box is a little tight for my wide feet with bunions. I think this style maybe better for a narrower foot than mine. The arch support is excellent and the style will make your feet look smaller...

These are adorable, and I really wanted them to work for walking around Europe on vacation and weekend run-abouts. They are stiff and heavy, however, and while I probably would have worked through that, their fatal flaw was the stiff tongue is just short enough that when walking, it dug right into my foot/ankle. There was no way around that pain and no breaking the tongue in, so back they go.

As a longtime wearer of Danskos in a similar style, I tried the Paisley for upcoming travel & walking outdoors. Unfortunately, the shoes did not work out for me. At first, the fit felt very comfortable, and there is a lot of cushioning under the heel. But when I tried walking up and down stairs indoors, I noticed that the tongue, while curved to fit the ankle, is quite stiff and pushed against the front of my ankle too much. (I was in crew socks.) Also the style is odd, with the laces coming down too close to the toes for my taste--something I could not determine from the photos. I wear a Euro 37 (6.5/7) and the unattractive appearance might be less of a problem on a bigger size of shoe. Finally, my feet are wide at the front and narrow through the heel, and I can usually wear either a medium or wide width shoe. However, this medium width shoe ran wide, and it was too wide for me through the heel, feeling "sloppy" and loose around my heel. I'm returning them.

I was expecting a bit more cushioning. The sole is very firm without much cushioning or give. I tried swapping out with the insoles but it didn’t make enough of a difference.

I liked the style of these shoes. For a sturdy shoe with useful characteristics, like being waterproof, they looked good. However, I found the toe area to be uncomfortably narrow. They kind of felt like a pair of Dansko clogs that had the heel cut off to make a flat. They did not have enough arch support for me and the toe felt higher than the heal, making them feel a little awkward to walk in. I was worried about how my legs and feet would feel about a whole day wearing them, so I decided to return them and look for something more comfortable.

I really need a bigger toe box. So I order multiple pairs trying to find that. Keen used to be great for that. But all of their tennis shoes, are so clunky on the soles.

This is a shoe i have purchased for many years... the new ones just are not the same. they are tighter, stiffer, just not the same returning.

These shoes are very stiff and rigid. I wore them for 2 weeks daily and they didn’t get any more comfortable and left me with foot and ankle pain.

I bought a pair of black dansko paisley shoes from Zappos over a year ago ..my favorite exercise shoe,couldn't be more comfortable. These blue Paisley shoes I just ordered fit differently...the tongue was longer and cut into my ankle. I was so disappointed as I love this show! Perhaps my pair had a manufacturing defect.

Toe area is upward, disliked. Shoes slightly big with thick socks. Did not like insole. Arch hurt me. Dansko shoes are too stiff and not enough cushioning. I disliked how the shoe is made with the toe area bent upward. Not for me this brand.

I so wanted to love this pair of red shoes! These shoes look great and well made, but, unfortunately, they are stiff and not flexible - like having soles made of wood. I didn't think they had moderate arch support, either (less than moderate). I had high hopes for these shoes as I own other Dansko styles (that are not athletic shoes) and absolutely love them.

I really wanted to like these. I have a pair of the Peggy Danskos and love the fit. But the Paisley heel is enough different than the Peggy that I couldn't get comfortable with it. Please bring back the Peggy - this shoe rocks!!

I ordered a size down because reviews indicated that these shoes run big. I should’ve ordered my regular size. I wish they came in half sizes.

These are beautiful shoes. The footbed has great arch support. Unfortunately the upper is a bit too stiff and the heel, despite tight lacing, slips. I do have narrower heels, but haven't experienced this issue with slipping in similar shoes like Keen. Will need to return these as I had hoped to use them for winter walking shoes.

I have bunions so I ordered wide. I love the style and the shoes are perfect for my bunions. However, when I tried to walk, the tongue dug into my foot and the pain is unbearable. I was hoping I got a defective pair and was thinking of making an exchange until I read reviews from others noting the same issue. Unfortunately, I'm returning these shoes.

These shoes, like all Danskos, are solid and of very good quality. However, after wearing them around the house for a few hours, they felt very heavy and stiff, and the arch seems placed a bit too far forward. I'm returning them.

Even in a wide size the toebox is narrow. In addition, the shoes feel stiff around the ankle.

II really wanted this to work. I love the style and the food was good, however I missed the fact that they were water resistant/proof. My feet get very hot and So I was not able to use these.

I really liked the look of the shoe and the stone suede color. The size was right, but the sole felt hard and did not contour well to my foot, so I am returning them. They are not cushiony.

These shoes are so comfortable I purchased two pair. My concern, the plastic like covering on the toe box of the black pair became delaminated. The material underneath is exposed. Has this issue been addressed? They are so comfortable that I am seriously considering buying another pair. I hesitate as they are very expensive. I own many pairs of dansko shoes and this is the only pair I have had an issue with.

The shoes were quite comfortable at first, but after wearing them for a couple of hours, my feet became tired and felt like they were too tight.

I need more cushioning and arch support than this shoe provides. Even with my orthotic, the shoe did not feel comfortable.
