I am a regular of Dansko, but these were my first pair of tie shoes. They did feel great out of the box and they had the color I wanted. They are like driving a dependable "beater." It didn't take a month for the bottom and sides to wear clean through, and they are by no means the only shoes I wear. I use them to paint with now. No excuse, Dansko.

I really like these shoes. I normally wear a size 8 - 8.5 M (38-39) and have average width feet so I ordered size 39 Regular. They fit comfortably, maybe a little loose/wide in the toebox, but I don't mind since I can't stand to have my toes scrunched. I got the Navy Milled Nubuck Waterproof (great for the Seattle rain) and love the rich color. The removable stability insole is firm and supportive. The only issue is that the bottom of the insole has a raised foam grid padding that squeaks as you walk because it compresses against the foam in the footbed. Adding a piece of fabric between the insole and footbed helped. Also heard that using talcum powder works so may try that.

I love this shoe...it’s comfortable right out of the box. I own it in a different color as well. BUT, I am highly disappointed in the quality of this pair. I bought these in May 2020; it’s currently October 2020 and the left shoe is falling apart. I’m not hard on shoes as a matter of fact the right shoe is fine. These shoes are too expensive to fall apart in less than a year!

My new favorite walking / everyday shoe! My custom orthotics fit well, and these shoes are very comfortable, and attractive for a sturdy walking shoe.

I've had these shoes for 2 years, primarily to walk on wooded trails. They feel great and are very comfortable. But now, they are no longer waterproof and the leather fronts have cracked. I don't know why this has happened, they're not abused at all.

I was very pleased with fit and support. However it has been only 4months and vibram sole has worn away on both heels. Very disappointed in quality. Danskos have always been my go to sneaker . Paying nearly $160 and the sole covering has worn away makes no sense. I use them for walking.

I’ve found these shoes to be very comfortable, didn’t require that I break them in. The one issue I have with them is the sole is wearing out super fast. I bought mine at the end of March 2019 and the heels are completely worn down through the tread. I need to replace them and would like to reorder these for the style and fit, but it wouldn’t be cost effective. My Dansko clogs have lasted several years in comparison.

These shoes feel great, nice size toe box, cushioning is good for arthritic feet. They have a bit of a rocker bottom, which helps with forward motion, though not as much as the dansko professional clog, which is good. They may be just a bit lofty for me, as I have weak ankles and as I'm wearing them around the house for testing... my ankle did the quick flip thing, which I had a problem with wearing my professional danskos. I may need a shoe where my foot sits closer to the floor and isn't up so high. Still testing though... I do wish they were in a darker brown, as I've really been looking for a brown tie shoe that I can wear with slacks... and these may be a bit too light in color.

These shoes are cute and do make your feet look smaller! I wear Orthodics and these shoes work well with them. They have more arch support than most tennis shoes I've had/purchased. They are taking little longer to break in. I guess I'm too used to tennis shoes. They are comfortable and wore 3 consecutive days before I had to take a day break. For me they have more heel slippage than I'm used to and I thought it may be a problem but after wearing them a couple days I'm used to it. I would recommend these shoes.

OK, I ordered 7 or 8 pair of sneakers and these were surprisingly awesome. I soooooo want to be able to wear Merrell shoes but their size 10 is too small and their 10.5 is too large. I have a similar problem with Keens. This is the first time I've purchased Dansko and OMG ... the sizing is PERFECT for me. One of the things I love about this shoe is, it looks like Keen without the super wide toe box, and they make my foot look small! I have a dog and I'm out in all sorts of weather with him. It's not winter yet, so that test has not been passed, but I need a waterproof shoe and I'm thrilled this style is water proof. Here's what surprised me most about these sneakers: they were neither the softest or cushiest of the various sneakers I ordered, but they were form fitting in a way that a sneaker has not fit me in ages. And, for those of you who have a car—you know how your car feels after you've put air in the tires? That's how these shoes feel. They feel like they are lifting and supporting me while making me feel like I'm gripping the pavement. I ordered 2 other colors. :)

I love these shoes. They are comfortable right out of the box. I have had 2 knee replacements so I chose my shoes wisely. I do not care what your foot problems are these shoes are wonderful. I have high instep tend to get tarsaltunnel, not with these shoes. And best of all they make your feet look small ! I wear them with jeans and dress pants . This is my second pair . Now I have them in black and brown. Waiting for the red to come back . Can’t say enough about the comfort. And yea Zappos you are the best.!!!!!!!!

I purchased my regular size - I wear a 9 so I bought the 40 euro. I have somewhat flat feet and need a lot of room for my toes. Plenty of room in the toe box. My feet get fatigued easily if I don't wear good supportive shoes. So far Dansko clogs have been the best shoe for me. I did not break these in before heading on a trip. So comfortable! I was able to be on my feet all day and my knees and feet never got sore or tired. High marks all around for this shoe for me. I hope to see more colors offered!

Love these shoes that I bought in the raisin color. I wanted a comfortable walking shoe for a recent trip to Europe. The inner sole is very comfortable and the shoe is firm with good grip for walking both uphill, downhill and on cobblestone streets. Even better for me is that there was no break in time at all.

If you are a Dansko clog fan, these give you the best of what you love, and none of what you don't. No heel slippage, no need to grip the toes to keep the shoe on, but with the same stiff rocker bottom that people with foot and toe joint problems need. Because you can lace them, you get that customized fit. The clogs never worked for me. The wide is too wide, the regular far too narrow, but with the adjustability these fit like a dream. I am a 39 (8.5- 9 regular shoe) in Birkenstock and Dansko, and the 39 fit as it should with just enough wiggle room in the toes to be able to choose whatever sock I prefer. I was able to take the insole out and use my orthotics with no problem. They are surprisingly lightweight for as substantial as they appear. They are not too bad looking, a bit like a hiking shoe, and would be great for people who work in a healthcare profession (but not the messy end of it, like a nurse or surgical tech because they can't just be wiped clean). I am a sonographer, and was hoping these would allow me to push my cart all over the hospital without taking my foot pain with me. Ultimately after a day of wear indoors I am returning them for one simple problem: back pain. If you are not someone who regularly wears shoes with a significant toe to heel height differential, you will instantly notice the pain in your low back or the knees. After years of wearing Birkenstock and other zero-drop options, I just couldn't stomp all over the hospital in high heels. I knew ultimately I was solving one problem (foot pain) by trading it for another (back pain). It's really too bad. If the heel were lower to the ground, these would be a dream.

I love these shoes they feel awesome on my feet, the only problem I see with these shoes, the tongue hurt my foot for about 3 days. I had read reviews about the same problem and it makes me wonder why did they make the tongue so short where it would be so painful against your leg until it gets broken in. But after those few day they wear like a dream. 5 star if you can hold out those breaking in days.

Perfectly comfortable out of the box. This is my third pair of Dansko Paisley’s, and they rack up the miles well. Last year I averaged walking 7 miles each day, and I wore the blue ones almost daily for 5 months since it didn’t stop raining in the northeast and needed a walker that was waterproof. They did not disappoint after I swapped out the laces that wouldn’t stay tied for some “lock laces.” This years laces in my new tan pair seem less “slippery”…like they’ll stay tied, but might break after a few uses. I assume the shoes will wear the same as always…perfectly! Great color. (Left: new tan ones / Right: old worn blue ones that have a gajillion miles on them)

Love these shoes for moderate walking to light hiking; just bought a second pair. These shoes work great for my high instep and wide toe box. The laces run the length of the shoes, allowing me to loosen them over the instep and adjust for my wide toes. They work well with my orthotics. In spite of the waterproof claim, they are more water-resistant than waterproof, and certainly won't keep water out above the laces. My first pair has stood up to quite a bit of abuse. I will note that the lining around the heel has frayed after heavy use for over a year.

I like the shoe. However, no matter what sock I tried, my feet instantly started to sweat big time! I figured that was not a good sign for hiking/walking.

This shoe claims to be waterproof. It is not. Walking my dog in the rain, water began seeping into the toe box. By the time I returned home, my entire sock was soaked.

I have debated about these hikers (sneakers) for several years. I let a few of the reviews deter me, but I got tired of my toes going numb in my previous hikers. Dansko clogs are just about the only shoe that doesn't cause me pain (Morton's neuroma and peroneal tendonitis), so I gave Paisley a try. These hikers are PERFECT for me! I have been hiking pain-free in the NC mountains. I slogged in the mud and stayed dry. I walked on rocks and didn't slip. The gray color is a perfect neutral and goes with everything. I have also worn them pain-free while walking on a cement floor and while just walking the dogs outside. My normal size Dansko (38) fit. My feet run narrow and these were almost too tight with socks. I researched different types of lacing and found one that worked perfectly (see photo). I can't speak to how long they will last, but so far, so good! I highly recommend the Paisley sneaker.

Super comfortable. This my second pair. Good for neuropathy and other foot issues. Very little breaking in time necessary. Not as durable (sole shows wear after about a year of walking.)

My darling dog Charles Barkley loves to play in the water gushing down the street when we get a heavy rain (lots of this in Seattle!) I wear my Paisleys every day rain or shine. They are a little too hot when the temps get above 70. They are waterproof and warm. They last a long time, I have probably walked well over 1,000 miles in my black pair. I rarely wear another shoe, walnut color in the Spring and Summer, Black Paisleys in the Fall and Winter. Plus, they make my feet look small. Cons: The tongue is so stiff when you first get them, and a tad too long. So it is uncomfortable for the first 10 miles or so. They are not slip resistant. And I hate the laces that are round, they are constantly coming untied, even with a double knot. The flat ones (on the walnut and some other colors) are not as difficult.

Excellent shoe. This shoe is excellent quality and well made. Unfortunately I have a very narrow foot. Generally with a good sock this would have been a great shoe. Recently I have just had to start wearing orthotics. In order to get the shoe to fit with the orthotic in I had to add an additional thin insole and it brought my foot up high enough that the tongue area rubbed on my foot causing my need to return them.

First pair I ordered seemed just a little bit snug but yet still comfy. I just felt that after a day of schlepping in them I may regret not going up a size -- feet swelling and all that nonsense. So I returned the original order and opted to go up one size. Order was delivered in a day and the minute I put them on, I absolutely love these shoes. I don't regret going up a size (went from 40w to 41w). They are so incredibly comfortable and extremely supportive - great traction too. I have many foot issues and these will no doubt provide great structure and comfort! Highly recommended. New Balance has been good to me too but these are far superior for structure and comfort.

I put these on right out of the box and no issues. I like them. Toe box is nice and wide, heel holds well enough to not be slipping up and down. Better fit than Keen Targhee.
