I was searching for a comfortable walking shoe for travel. I have wide feet and a severe bunion problem on both feet. I give these shoes an A+. They are light weight, stretchable and yet not too loose in the heel. There is a raised heel bed that I haven't encountered before but I like it. I ordered a size 9 WW (2E) I normally wear an 8-8 1/2 the 9 fits perfect you may want to order 2 sizes and return one to get the best fit. I have never written a review before but these earned my 5 stars for Overall and Comfort 4 stars for Style and the time it took to write this.

These sneakers are very comfortable but for the price I thought I'd feel like I was walking on a cloud.

I like the cushiness of this shoe, plus I have a very wide short foot. This shoe fits like a glove.

Thanks to the many great reviewers who took the time to write their opinions regarding this New Balance Shoe, I was able to get the correctly fitting pair the first time! Yes, it does run shorter in length and narrower in width, so if you do decide to purchase a pair, go up at least a half size in length, and a size wider in width. Also, the difference between a wide width, and an extra wide width, will not make this shoe a sloppy fit! All in all, the perfect lightweight summer sneaker!

Really wanted to like this shoe, but when I put it on, with medium socks, it was way too tight around my toes and at the tip of my toes. Usually New Balance has a nice toe box, but this one seems to deviate from their norm.

These shoes are incredibly lightweight. They were comfortable from the minute I put them on. I love them! I only wish they were less expensive.

Way too narrow. About 1"narrower than the last New Balance EEs that I bought. Bummer

Ok, I LOVE these shoes! My 2nd pair in 2 weeks. I walk for exercise and I have always (mostly) worn brooks. I do love them but if I wear them all day by end of day I have some pain on the side of my foot near my little toes. Kind of like a bunyon, but I don't have any bunyons. I do order a WIDE on both shoes, but these NEW BALANCE are like walking on a cloud! My new go to shoe for sure!!

I feel like Goldilocks, trying until I found the one that was just right. Because of previous reviews, I purchased a half size larger and so glad that I did. It definitely did not feel too large. Support in the right places and enough toe room for my bunion foot. There was a little issue with the upper lining in one shoe being a bit rough, but I will just try to make sure it is even when I put them on. I wear moderately heavy socks

After numerous tries and returns I finally figured out that what I need are double-wides, meaning EE width. Not that many shoes come in extra wide width, but these do. These shoes were finally wide enough for me and they also have a nice square toe box so my toes don’t get squished—just what I needed. I did add a little bit of arch support, but I do have very high arches.

I LOVE these shoes. I have all 3 colors. I like to switch off. I have worn brooks for years but for some reason at the end of the day i would have some pain on the right side of my foot. it rubbed or something even though i wore a wide shoe. I do not typically wear wide except in active shoes. Anyway feel amazing right out of the box! I do love brooks and would recommend but it is probably just my own issue. I do size up on these active shoes. I do it on most brands. I typically wear an 8-8.5 and I am wearing a 9 wide.

I have such a terrible time finding shoes that are wide enough to be comfortable, without making me look like an astronaut clomping through space. I have finally found them! I don’t think I’ve ever written a review in my life - but had to for these. They held up for me through a week of Disney, which anyone with kids knows is the ultimate test. The love affair with them is still going strong!

I ordered 3 pairs of this sneaker size 10 in a B, D and EE width. I usually wear a wide shoe and ordered the B width in error. Once I had all three pairs it was the EE width shoe that was the narrowest of the 3. The D width was only a tiny bit wider than the B width sneaker. I finally kept the B width sneaker. Once the fit is right these are the most comfortable sneaker I have had in a very long time.

I love these shoes! I used to have plantar faciitis and used orthotics, but not anymore since I've been wearing these shoes! They are so comfortable and have good arch support too. I can walk five miles in these without my feet hurting. I originally had the gray because I couldn't find black. After awhile I decided to buy another pair in case they quit making this model - I hate when that happens! So my gray pair just wore out and the 2nd pair I got was black (!). I just put them on and there was no break in time needed. I just went online to buy another pair for later!

For a duck-footed senior who had anticipated wearing "space shoes" when younger, I'm delighted with the large toe box shoes available now. Not a fashion statement, but really, comfort is what allows exercising, which allows you to feel good, which contributes toward a good attitude even at 80! And I love Zappo's way of dealing—shipping, returning, paying—all so simple and helpful.

I love these shoes. Finally a pair of shoes that are wide enough for my small wide feet. I was trying to go through a local store and weeks later I still didn't have the shoes. I ordered them from Zappos and have them 2 Days Later. It is a great shoe for people that supinate. Great service thank you.

Loved the look of this but when I put until, I found it was more narrow then some other styles I have from New Balance. Had to return them.

These have been good shoes. I am even able to put my own custom orthotic in them and not feel too tight. Look good and have held up well.

I LOVE these shoes. My feet are very finnicky --- morton's neuroma and hammer toe developing. They are cushiony, comfortable and I can walk several miles without any pain. I love the bright color and cute laces too --- they motivate me to get out for some exercise!
