I don't think these were wide shoes - could be mistaken. It would've been much better if there was anything stretchy over the arch, but there was no "give." I love the style and color and wish they would have felt better. I have a similar pair from Clark's that are made with elastic bands over the arch and I have worn them out over the years. I wish they were available again.

I really wanted to like these. They are about as comfortable as it gets - BUT they appear to run about a half size large. Made my feet look long, plus I was concerned that I might trip due to the extra length in the toe area. Sadly, they are going back.

This is a nice looking shoe, but I really had to work to get one that fit well. I had to order this shoe in several sizes because the different colors fit differently. The pewter color was quite long, at least a whole size, and the leather was not as stiff. The black leather is stiffer and makes the fit more snug.

My usual size is 8-1/2. This shoe in that size was definitely too long. Leather felt stiff.

Awkward size, runs long and narrow. I'm usually a 11 or a 12, but the 12s were way too long. The 11s were plenty long which is unusual for me, but they were way too narrow across the top of the foot. The toe box was nice and roomy, but the fixed strap across the top kept me from being able to wear these shoes. I love what they look like!

The fit and sizing were fine. I ordered a wide shoe and the feel on my foot was good. The problem was the velcro strap on the shoe is very short so when I had to adjust it to widen the shoe a bit, it was too short to stay secured when I took a step. They need to lengthen the velcro strap a bit to allow for adjustments.

The heels are not narrow. The shoe flops up and down on my foot.

I normally can put my foot into a 9 wide any brand and they fit like a glove. I initially ordered a 9 double wide because of my experience with Clark’s shoes. Clark’s typically have run more narrow even when wide, so I was thrilled when I saw a double wide. When the shoe came, it felt like it was a size 10 on my foot. My toes were more than a thumbs length away from the end. So, I ordered an 8 1/2 wide. It was way too small. My toes curled up in the end of the shoe. So, I ordered a 9 wide which typically fits me perfectly, but in Clark’s they have been too narrow for me, but the double wide was huge and way too big. I got the 9 wide. True to Clark’s, the wide felt like a medium and was way too narrow. I’m sending these back and I won’t mess with Clark’s again. I’m so disgusted. I don’t see how a wide and double wide in a 9 would be so much difference, but they were. The 9 double wide was huge and the 9 wide was too small and too narrow, even in the length.

Great fit and quality, and it felt secure on my foot. Good support.

attractive, easy to put on, supportive. I need a 1/2 size smaller

Loved this shoe, but XL,was a bit too wide, especially around the ankle.

This is my second pair of this style--and I may buy it in another style as well. One of the most comfortable shoes I own!

I already have this in brown and loved it so much that my husband bought it for me in black!!

I have had this shoe in brown for a year and when I was looking for a comfortable city walking shoe in black and saw this on sale, I snatched it up. :). I have walked at least four miles at a time in these shoes and they still look great.

I always where an 11 and it was way big

My feet are 2 different sizes now - Menopause just keeps on giving. But after about 30 minutes of walking around, the right one stretched out just enough to fit. I chose "true to size" because if I had gone up one size, they would have been too big for my left foot, but if you fill up a half size with both feet, you could probably go up to a full size. And, they're super cute!

I now have two pairs of these that I wear constantly. I love them so much I came back to write this review. They are comfortable. Cute. High quality. They have held up so well to constant wear. I have wide feet that need a little support and these are just enough. Perfect for casual jean days. Thank you for such a nice product, Clarks!

These are the most comfortable and versatile shoes I own. Wear them for 4 seasons because they look great either with, or without, socks. I wear them with dressier pants or jeans. This pair is a replacement of a pair I needed to replace after 8 yrs. I think I got my money’s worth.

The fit was perfect. Nice material and style. Very pleased with these shoes - cute and comfortable!

The fit was good. I appreciate leather shoes as they have more flexibility regarding width and comfort.
