I now have three pairs of these shoes in black, navy and brown. Why? Because I have such a narrow foot that it’s almost impossible to find a shoe that fits me when I go into a shoe store or in department store shoe departments. Seems we are the forgotten width! This is really a cute style, sturdy, and gives me the support I need for my skinny high arched feet. Thanks Zappos for carrying enough narrow widths so that I don’t have to go searching high and low for comfort and fit!

Fits like a glove, comfy right out of the box. For my feet, arch support is great. They are Clarks, shoes I’ve bought many times, never a disappointment, always a size 7. Leather uppers. You can’t go wrong.

A very comfortable shoe. The 8 wide was too large so I returned them for the 7 1/2 wide and they fit perfectly. I may order another color! Thank you for all your help!

I wear a closed toe sandal in winter to accommodate the fleecy tights I wear for warmth. I have worn Clarks in the past and was happy with the width and roomy toe box. These shoes have the same good width and toe box room, but a less arch support than I prefer. The sole also feels stiffer than I prefer, but that may improve with wearing. I will be keeping them and I will add an orthotic for arch support if needed. The style is lovely for this type of shoe. I also bought a similar style of shoe by Alegria to compare. For those who might also want a comparison I am enclosing a picture of side by side. I will be posting a review of the Alegria Traq on the page for that shoe.

The shoe was mostly true to size and width. I had ordered one in navy several years ago and it is comfortable. Maybe it has stretched. I ordered two more in different colors back in March. Have been wearing the black one and it has become increasingly uncomfortable. I will keep wearing it and hope it stretches--over the top. The brown one is even more tight across the top of the shoe. I like the style of the shoe. The problem is my older feet.

I have found the Clarks of today are made with very thick, unyielding leather. With this style the welting is poorly padded on the inside and rubs my foot in many places. This will be my last attempt to buy Clarks. Very disappointed.

I ordered a wide width because I have bunions and wider feet. The forefoot felt fine but I was walking out of the back of the shoe even though the shoes was not too long. It is sloppy in the heel even with thicker socks. I could also feel my ankle collapsing inward since the shoe seems to rock that way. I liked the style of the shoes but they are not going to work for me since the shoe has zero support for walking.

Right shoe was comfortable. Bunion on left foot was very red and hurt. Disappointed!

I just want to let everyone know I was so excited to receive the Ashland Spin Q shoes in black and brown. I wear a size 8 1/2 EE-X-Wide. It’s been so hard for me to purchase this size shoe lately because the manufacturers want to sell only to the masses. I guess there’s not many women that wear this size. Thank you Clark’s for manufacturing this size shoe. Wish you made more styles.

Great toe box, fit on my narrow heel and width was perfect. Finally found a comfortable shoe.

I have a terrible time finding shoes to fit my feet because the toe box is usually too narrow. My feet are narrow at the heel and wide at the toes (think duck-like feet)! Obviously, pointy shoes never work for me. I'm so thankful that these shoes have a wide toe box in this wide size – a perfect fit!

These were comfortable right out of the box. I need a shoe with wide toe box and these were perfect. They didn’t pinch my toes. I think I might get another pair in a different color!

Love these! They are flattering in size 12...that doesn't happen too often... cute, casual, and comfortable.

I have had Clarks shoes that were a similar style to these for a few years and they are so comfortable that I have worn them until they are scuffed beyond shoe polish repair! So I ordered another pair in tan (which is darker that my first ones). The cross-over straps are a little tight but I've been wearing them a bit each day and they are beginning to feel better. I've found that if you leave the adjustable strap a little loose, the other strap will not be as uncomfortable until they are "broken in". I'm a big fan of Clarks shoes and like this style because it's a bit more feminine style for slacks and skirts.

I thoroughly LOVE these shoes! I have large (10 EE) feet and have also had toe/foot surgery so I am constantly looking for shoes (that don't look like something orthopedic) and also fit my feet (allowing for my still crooked toes) . Clarks Ashland Spin Q fits that bill. I can wear them with a dress, skirt and of course slacks. I ordered black ones, but will also get another color when available. Planning on a trip next month, so I was anxious about getting a pair of shoes that I can walk and be comfortable in. VERY EXCITED I HAVE THIS PAIR. Thanks for being patient on my returns of other styles. I have found my one love...well besides my schnauzer and my husband.

Very cute style of shoe. Works well with both jeans and pants. Quality made at a reasonable price.

I do very well with Clark shoes. I am over 60 and still working. I need shoes that are professional looking, yet comfortable. I gave these shoes a 4 out of 5 rating. The size and with are great. The comfort of the insole is wonderful. The material the shoe is made of is a little stiff. I anticipate that this will soften up with wearing.

LOVED these shoes! Loved the look, loved the fit, was so jazzed when I tried them on that I immediately took a photo of them on my feet to share with my sweetie. But my feet are sorta oddly shaped, kinda like duckfeet, and I wore them for maybe 4 minutes before realizing that they were starting to feel uncomfortable due to a hard spot in the shoe pressing insistently upon the base of my big toe. On a person with normal feet, I believe that this would be where the instep is, and it wouldn't be a problem. On me, it felt like I had just discovered a bunion. If I could be sure that ordering a larger size would fix the problem, I'd do it in a heartbeat, I love the shoes that much. I'm so disappointed, but am convinced that it's not the fault of the shoes or of Zappos, just these crazy feet of mine.

Really loved the look and quality of these shoes, but I have a narrow heel and the shoes slipped up and down. I ordered a smaller size and also tried thicker socks, but they still slipped. Plenty of room in the toe area with a higher toe box, medium arch support. Great shoe if you don't have narrow heels. Wish I could have kept them!

The width and size felt right and the arch support is good my only issue is the leather is a little stiff but I expect with wear it will loosen up.

I need wide shoes to accommodate my forefoot and bunion, but I have very narrow heels. I was hoping that the strap on these shoes would hold my heels in, but the strap has very little adjustment possible. These are cute shoes and I wish I could have worn them, but I had to send them back.

These shoes felt comfortable when I got them, and they still feel comfortable at first. However, after I wear them for a period of time, my feel fall asleep. The right foot falls asleep every time I wear them .... while walking, standing, sitting, combining activities. I keep hoping they'll get "broken in" or something will change, because I like the shoes.

I ordered in usual size and wide. I had previously tried on medium width in a store and was snug. The toe box felt great but the heel was also wide. Therefore, even when tightening strap as much as possible they slip off the heel when walking. I will have to return. They are very cute though.
