When narrow shoes become medium in width instead? I ordered 2 different pairs of CLARKS in 8 narrow and both fit more like a medium width shoe. CLARKS have always been my go to brand for narrow shoes. I am going to try going down to a 7.5 narrow and see if It will fit my narrow foot. The shoe itself is attractive and foot bed is comfortable.

Not the arch support someone told me they had. Bought on recommendation, specifically asked about good arch support. Also a little small for the size, especially in the area of the little toe. Too bad, as they are cute.

At first I loved the shoe, but, after wearing for a while the ball of my right foot started to hurt very badly. There is a sort of ridge in the lineing instead of laying flat. It took 2 days for the pain in my foot to stop. This is the second pair of Clarkes this happened with and I am done with them.

These ran a bit short, but even so, I did not like them. I can't really even say why--perhaps the shininess of the pewter color, or maybe it's just not my personal style. Returned.

Style wasn't great and my ankles slipped in these shoes. It's possible downsizing would improve the fit but I just didn't like them enough.

The shoe looks nice, but it is quite heavy. I was thinking it might be the same as the other Clarks that I bought a few years ago, which did not had a lighter, more flexible leather and fit like a glove.

I ordered the black shoes in 7 N. The shoe felt short on my toes and the footbed is too deep. They encroached my ankles. Also, there is not enough support under the ball of the foot. The width and the material are great.

I wanted to love these, but they had a really weird fit for me. The arch support and cushioning wasn’t as great as I’d expect from this brand, but the big problem was the heel fit very loose. They kept wiggling around when I walked, and I could tell they’d end up rubbing my heel painfully. Returned them.

Stiff upper - real leather??? Color very brown, little red tone. Width seemed good but length more like a full size up.

My feet had been swollen when they arrived, so I waited until thry were back to normal to see if they fit, but they still don’t. The upper isn’t roomy enough for my high arches and the loop won’t close without cutting into my foot.

I ordered a size too large and need to return them.

The overall fit was fine but the sole of the shoe was terribly uncomfortable - some type of ribbing and bumpiness. Sadly had to return.

These were a disappointment. The sole and upper look and feel cheap. They lack arch support, and immediately caused my foot to roll inward (overpronate) when walking. These didn’t bear any resemblance to the reliable, comfortable Clark’s from years ago.

There is almost no arch support. The insole is not removeable so that another insole can be inserted.

I am a true 9 1/2 in size, this shoe is at least 1/2 inch too long, slides up and down on the heel, which would probably cause blisters. and I really don't like the color. Looks brown in color. Should be redwood, but maybe I was looking for a redish color. May keep but it's a big if.

Color is definitely NOT navy. Was more of a black-blue color - pretty dull too.

Shoe did not have the support I was expecting. The UN loop is better for me but they have changed the style so will need to try new style to see if they work.

I often wear 10B, but these were too big and my foot slipped up and down as I tried walking in them. Glad I can send them back easily.

Ordered a 6 medium. The shoe literally flopped around on my feet as I walked. Too wide in the heel even with a thick sock. I have 2 pair of this same style that fit me perfectly and have worn for years. So disappointed!! Why change a good product?

I loved the first pair I ordered 6 months ago. Ordered same size and color last week and they were slightly shorter and the R and L shoes were obviously different shades of brown. Had to return them.

I love Clarks. I have several. This shoe is great for travel, work, and hanging out. I already have this shoe and ordered a second after the first was getting a little scuffed and worn. I returned the new pair as it was exactly the same size on the label, both US and EU, but it was bigger. Sole to Sole it was longer. I noticed other reviews mentioned a loose or sloppy fit and good for thicker winter socks, but why would the soles be longer? I don't know whether to order a half size smaller or to move on to the quest for another perfect all round shoe. Or go to a store in an actual building to try it on. Otherwise, I have pretty satisfied with Zappos.
