Ordered these in the hopes that there was enough cushion and arch support, or that my arch supports would fit in the shoe. Neither worked. Easy on and off, but nothing else felt great, just okay. Would probably be okay, for short amount of time, or little walking/standing. They only look okay too, sort of cheap looking leather. So back they go.

These do not have any ankle support at least not in the wide sizes. The opening for the back of the ankle is very wide. You won’t even need to unbotton the loop to get the shoes on. No amount of toe fillers, ankle cushions, or even using an orthotic would fill the gap. Adding an arch support orthotic made the instep snug enough so the shoe wouldn’t flip flop a lot with every step but my feet and calves were exhausted after just a couple hours of wear.

Loved the shoes but they slipped off my heel. I need the extra width due to bunions but it's hard to fit the rest of my foot. Will try again. Great service and price!

I like these, but I wouldn’t say I love them. They’re comfortable enough, though I agree with so many others about being able to feel rocks and such through the sole. That doesn’t seem right. And while there’s a little arch support, not quite enough to call moderate, I think there could be more. And more arch support would make a more comfortable shoe.

These were for my 93 year old mother. Due to her dementia I could only determine that they were too small.

Cute style I like the color. The shoe seems narrow and short. Unfortunately I had to send them back. That the reason lower stars rating.

Overall, this shoe felt comfortable upon putting them on. But what surprised me was the lack of support for the ball of the foot. Other shoes feel more like they have "give" than this one does. Maybe it's me, because I contracted plantar fasciitis, which was very painful; I can feel where shoes are lacking support, and unfortunately this one does in a crucial spot. I am now past the point of being able to send them back; so I can either try to find pads that might make them wearable for the rest of their natural life, or just give them away. :(

The fit was ok, but in large feet the shoe looked huge. Also the foot bed at the ball of the foot was not comfortable

These were OK, but around the top of the shoe it was rubbing around the opening so I was afraid to keep them thinking they would be uncomfortable to ware. So I am returning them.

They were longer and wider than normal, they nearly slipped off my feet when I walked in them.

I have high arch and wide foot. This shoe did fit but the top came up so high it was not comfortable to wear for long. I was looking for a loafer, but can't seem to find one that is cut low, like a penny loafer. Just the way styles are now.

I've tried these shoes in 3 sizes with different sock thicknesses. I normally take a 7. While these shoes are really comfortable, the size 7 felt loose and a bit sloppy. I kept size 6.5 although it felt slightly too tight. I've never had this problem with Clark's before. Oh well...

Runs very small. I almost wonder if these were mismarked they are so short in the footbed.

The shoe felt so much smaller than I thought it would be. I exchanged for a half size larger and also more wider , also the color was not at all burgundy, more like brown, nothing like picture on website

I ordered DARK TAN BROWN 10m and ROSEWOOD 10m due to reviews stating shoes stretched after a very wears. I was pleasantly surprised about the colors. the Redwood really does "look" like a DARK BROWN (in fact this was the color I was going for). The Dark Tan looks like a light brown with a yellowish undertone. (I really like the color). But i'm on the fence about keeping them. I have bunions (the right bunion gives me more issue than the left). They looks great on me but I do feel the squeeze on my right bunion. I'm hoping they will stretch as many other reviewers stated. Due to the fact it's so hard to find shoes that don't look like men shoes, or just plain ugly in 10 wide (my normal size). I plan to walk around the house for a few days (with socks over my shoes) in hope that I will be able to keep both pairs. I initally was only going to buy 1 pair of shoes. Praying I can end my shoe search and revise my review with a thumbs up!!

They seemed a little wider than the mediums I have bought in the past. Could probably got by with a narrow width. They are comfortable and have a good amount of toe room.

Felt comfortable in instep but a little too long and heel was loose.

The heels in both 11B and 11W were too wide, slipped off heel. Pretty shoes though.

I have high arches and it can be difficult to find a non-oxford that gives me the support I need. It would have helped if I could have removed the insert and put in my own orthotic, but the insert with this shoe is glued in too securely to remove without damaging the shoe. The leather is buttery soft and very attractive. It fits well at putting it on, but as the leather warms it stretches and the shoe becomes loose. I’m not returning because I need a second pair of brown shoes, and it’s boring to have to get two pairs of the same shoe. I can wear it as long as I don’t have to do a lot of walking.

This is a really cute shoe. I wear a 9 or 9 1/2 and ordered a 9 1/2. It is too big for me. I think a 9W would be good, and I may order it. I am disappointed, because I like everything about the shoe except that it slips off my heel.

I really like the look of this casual shoe. The navy shoe would be a compliment to anyones wardrobe. I, however, found this shoe runs large...a full size for me. So, I cannot comment on the comfort. I do have arthritic feet. I have had bunion surgery and my feet don't have a lot of extra flesh. I need to be able to spread my toes in the toe box but I have a narrow heel. These needs make it very hard to find a comfortable shoe to meet these needs. I hope this shoe will be a fit for you...as I do like the look of this casual shoe.

This shoe was so loose around the ankle I would of had an issue with them moving side to side too much! This shoe needs to be looked at by Clarks!

Wide in the heel. Didn’t feel like a true narrow.
