Great comfort, but the shoe is flatter that it looks. I was hoping for something with more of an incline, but these feel totally flat on the foot. Very comfortable, true to size and width, but I have to return.

Fit was too wide through the instep and heel.

The fit was good but there was not enough arch support.

Really wanted these shoes to work. Ordered my usual size 9.5 EE but the shoes were too short so I ordered the 10. It too was too short if I wear socks so back they went. If only there were 10.5 to order...

I purchased the Clarks Ashland Lane Q in preparation for walking in Europe. I like the style and the WW width is accurate. It's wonderful to have a truly wide shoe! I ran into problems finding the right size--whereas I usually wear a 7.5 or 8 in Clarks, depending on the design, I had to go all the way down to a 7. Zappos was helpful in sorting out replacements while keeping the great pricing I got for my VIP rewards. I'm keeping the shoes, although I do feel that the heel part of the sole is rather narrow, so I hope I don't get a blister. Otherwise, great buy.

Good walking shoe and appears comfortable, but it felt a tad short for a size 11M so I have to return them. One thing that did bother my foot was the side inner seam on the left shoe. The stitching was a bit rough and not as flat as the other shoe and it probably would have given me a blister, whereas the right shoe had a smoother non-bothersome seam. I only wear Clarks shoes because of their craftmanship, quality, and fit but this one did not work for me. I will probably try the Un.loop, just wish they were not so expensive.

This shoe has pretty good arch support but since it is a medium, I have had to insert a Dr. Scholls pad. I ordered an half size smaller 7 med to get more room in the toe area and I figured I didn't need it in a 7 1/2. It is working out pretty well for me.

I have a rather narrow foot and this shoe is definitely a medium width. I have put in padding so this make this shoe a better fit. The shoe has reasonable arch support and made of good quality materials.

My wife bought these for a trip. Even though they rock from side to side, she wore them to break in. Yesterday, her ankle turned and she fell. They won't be making the trip and can't go back unfortunately.

I really liked these shoes despite a hard sole, but after a few months one of the buttons popped off. I checked with a few shoe repair places but none of them was able to fix it. (It's basically a rivet.) Disappointing.

The fit was about right, a little loose. The material is cheap looking. I should have read more carefully, I thought these were leather, especially given the price. Or if they are leather, it's very low quality. I'm disappointed. Used to be I could rely on Clarks

I loved wearing these shoes - a little clunky but perfect for my foot, until one of the rivets that holds the elastic in place popped off. This renders the shoes unwearable, and I have yet to find a shoe repair place that can fix it. If you have a high arch, this may not be the shoe for you in terms of durability.

Floppy, unattractive. Too wide

I usually wear a 9 but the 9.5 in this shoe barely had a thumb print at the top. I have a narrow heel with a wide width and my foot would slide forward when walking in this shoe. I have worn Clark shoes before but this one didn’t work for me.

My instep is too high to feel comfortable wearing these shoes.

Returned because the shoes were too large.

Love the looks of the show but size 10 is too short and size 11 is too long. I'll need to look for a brand that makes 10.5

I was disappointed in the fit of these shoes. They were tight in the instep, but loose other places. I ordered the black, but was disappointed that it had lt. colored stitching around the outside of the shoe. Looked like almost white. Was not attractive combination.

Cute but too tight. I suggest you size up.

The style is not what I usually receive. I believe that is a problem from Clarks. I don't like it at all. I have elected to keep the shoes because I need the shoes and I have been buying and sending back, for a few months thinking the wrong style was sent. I have been wearing the shoes for well over 5 + years. Very disappointed that I will not be able to receive the shoes I wanted in the future. Tis is a problem with Clarks
