I ordered an 8 1/2 narrow. It wasn't as tight fitting as I expected. It's a comfortable shoe, but I do like a tighter fit. It was pretty true to size lengthwise. Comfortable right away.

I always wear an 8-1/2 B (Medium) in Clark's, but these are a little large. I have to wear them with medium thick cushioned socks instead of my usual cotton socks. The length is okay, just a little extra long, but the toe box and the shoe itself are very wide. The Navy color is almost Black.

The fit was very comfortable and the only problem I have is the heel still slips a little. My normal size is 9W, but I had to get a 8.5W so the heel wouldn’t slip so much. I’m goong to wear a thicker sock with these. Thank you Zappo for letting me try them on, so I could find the right shoe!

Felt like shoes run larger. Have never previously purchased Clarks.

A bit more clunky than I expected, but they fit right out of the box and will be a good winter shoe. I wear a 6.5 wide and have very high arches, and the shoes fit like a glove. There is no rubbing on the top of my feet - I test drove the shoes in the house and can wear them without socks, if I chose to. The Clarks Ashland line fits reliably.

Nice looking details. Great shoe for wide feet & high instep, a little too much depth of toe box for me, which allows the top surface to cup or wrinkle just a bit on my less-wide left foot, but feels so much better than if too shallow at the toe box! Great comfort and great look with jeans and casual clothes! Nice price for the quality.

I love metallic shoes for the versatility of wear. These are attractive and comfortable. I don't think I'll be using them for long walks.

Due to diabetes my foot size fluctuates. I ordered another style in two different sizes before hitting on these and I'm loving them.

I usually wear a 4 1/2 shoe. Thought I’d give these a try. With socks they work really well. Nice looking and comfortable.

These are really practical work shoes. They are comfy, look professional enough with slacks, and keep my feet dry in drizzly weather. As someone who commutes by mass transit these shoes work really well.

Great looking shoe but did not fit well. I ordered a narrow size and it still was a "sloppy" fir. Unfortunately had to return these shoes. Also did not feel long enough for the size.

This shoe felt good on the left foot but not the right foot. It was as if the padding was bunched up under the ball of the right foot. I would like to say this is an anomaly, but it has been true for the past few pairs of Clark's shoes. This time, the issue was, also, that the heel was too loose, slipping up and down as I walked, even in the multiple sizes that I tried on. Wearing a sock with the shoe would mean that the sock would bet pulled down by the movement at the heel of the shoe, when walking even a short distance. The wide width was as expected at the ball of the foot, though.

Loved these shoes in black leather, but the heel slipped. Had to send them back.

This shoe is smart looking, good quality and very comfortable. The only problem is the sole material is extremely slippery which makes it unsafe. Get it together Clarks! All your other shoe soles are good and grippy. What happened here? The shoe feels so good and looks so awesome I will buy it anyway and have the shoemaker put some grippy stuff on the sole for me at additional expense. Sigh.

I usually love Clarks and typically take an 11 because they don't make a 10 1/2 which is my normal size. I feel these are bigger than their usual 11, perhaps its just the style. They did make my foot look larger than normal as well. Seem to be made well but slip too much when on so will have to return.

These shoes are super cute and go well with pants of any kind. I ended up returning my usual size and ordering a half size smaller, which works fairly well. They still have some heel slip and feel a bit loose, but I’m keeping them and using an insole to adjust the size (if I had been in a store I probably would have tried an additional half size smaller ). The quality is excellent!

My feet are very hard to fit due to several issues. I have to wear orthotics insoles with my shoes, this shoe you can not remove the foot bed. It fit nice and was nice and wide which I need. I just wished they had a removable foot bed, because of this I had to return them. Thank you Zappos for letting me try several brands and allowing free shipping.

After reading reviews about it running small I order a half size up. That was a mistake for me. It was exactly a half size too big. The only thing I'm not thrilled about in the shoe is the sole is very slippery. I'm wearing these to show dogs in and will have to add a grip pad on the bottom so I don't slip and fall and kill myself. Otherwise it seems like it will be a comfortable shoe.

I loved how comfortable the shoe was. I wear 8 1/2 W and it felt just right. Unfortunately, I returned the shoe because the color designated was "burgundy" but the actual color is very brown.

Got these in Pewter and they are really cute, makes my feet look small. No bunion pain! Width good in the forefoot, but I gave it only 4 stars because there is heel slippage (but I have a quadA heel, so no big surprise). I think it can be managed. Love these shoes! No break in period needed!

Loved this shoe in every way as I finally found one with the roominess I need after multiple foot surgeries and needing extra wide shoes. The only problem to my dismay is the sole is just too thin offering very little cushioning even with inserts. sole is also flexible giving too much bend to the foot. I will continue to look at Clarks and hope I can find the same type shoe with a better sole.
