These are fine shoes, the only problem is size 7 Wide would fall off (I usually wear size 7-7.5), so I ordered 6.5 Wide which is almost perfect if my toe wouldn't touch the shoe during walking. So, I can't walk in these for hours (which is what I needed them fore).

Love these shoes. Wish Clark’s made more styles available in extra wide widths.

I have these Clarks in black - I think those were these first pair of that brand I ever bought. Those shoes are a bit worse for the wear after all these years, but no less comfortable. The shade of this navy pair seemed just a tad too dull. I decided I could live without them.

just wished I'd ordered 1/2 size smaller but can make it work w/inserts.

I take an 11 wide and have trouble finding shoes that fit me. I was very surprised, then, when I put this shoe on and it was way too big! It seems like it will be very comfortable so I'm going to order in a size 10 and hope that I don't actually need a 10.5 because this shoe isn't made in that size.

Was way to narrow and kind of hard to put on. Had to send them back.

Really wanted to like these - very comfortable. Ordered a 9W based on size chart measurements (although from experience I have more success with 8-1/2W). Generally too loose/short at back of collar. A very generous W width - any stretching with wear would result in even looser fit. Arch support seemed nonexistent - added separate gel inserts to provide better insole fit.

love these shoes just a little wider than I needed but I kept them anyway

I love these shoes! I usually wear an 8.5 and while the width is great because I have wide feet, I did not order wide. I ordered a different pair of Clark's that aren't wide and they are super narrow. Ihink if I had ordered wide they would have been too wide. They feel a little longer than normal and I debated returning for a half size down but then I worried they would be too small. Fortunately they don't slip off my feet so I'm happy with them. The only thing that bugs me is I ordered the black and I wish the thread was black and not tan. Otherwise they are super comfy and I can wear them all day!

I typically wear a 10 M in Vionics and running shoes but in any Clarks Ashland, I always wear a 9.5 M. I do wear my half insole supports in these as the footbed does not come out.

Cute shoe. I normally wear a 9-wide but with this particular shoe the size 9 was slipping on my heel. I exchanged for an 8.5 wide and that has a better fit with enough room for heavier socks. There is not a lot of "depth" to the shoe so it will not accommodate my custom orthotics. The shoe has minimal arch support so I think I can go without the orthotics for short trips.

They fit well and are comfortable to wear.

Love this shoe, but toe box is narrow

I bought this shoe in a 12N but it was still too wide. It's very comfortable and I like the style. I ordered the same shoe in black and it seemed a bit narrower so I returned the redwood. I wish it had more arch support.

I have wider feet at front and narrow heels, so sometimes wear W sometimes M widths depending on brand. Clarks usually fit me in either depending on style. In this case, the W was too loose, and since not adjustable style, but feel really comfy (like slipping on a slipper!) am returning to try same size in M. Wish Clarks had just a bit more arch support!

I like these shoes very much. I had bought a pair of brown ones that were very comfortable from the moment I put them on. I bought another pair in black and though, they also are very comfortable, the heels feel looser than the first pair. I remedied this by putting in a pair of shoe inserts and they fit better, although I still notice a little looseness in the heel. That is the reason for a 4 star instead of a five.

Love these, cute style, very comfy. Just have to say, heels slip some, but common problem for me! Think narrows might pinch front of footsy.. Lol. Would order again... So that says it all!!!!!

Needed more of an arch support for my high arches.

Keeping the shoe but it does seem to "slip" in the back heel area. Maybe thicker socks would eliminate but I mainly wear thinner socks.

I bought these to work in and they were very comfortable. However after only a month one of the “buttons” fell off so I had to return them. I’m tempted to order another pair because they were so comfortable but I worry about the quality of them now. I have to say though that Zappos was great about taking them back after a month of wear.

This is a beautiful well made shoe. I think it would be very stylish and comfortable in the correct size. I typically wear a size 8, but size 8 in this shoe was too long. I typically find medium width shoes confining and so gladly purchase wide in the rare cases they are available, but this wide was too wide for me! I'm not sure if I would need a 7.5 wide or a 7.5 medium. There is no arch support and the the padding does not slip out. If I were to find a shoe size that fit me in this style, I would have to peel the glued insole out to replace it with an arched insole.

I bought these for my sister, who has swollen feet due to health conditions. She struggled to put them on because they have a high front. She said they would be great if they didn’t come up so high. We ended up returning them only because of her swollen feet.

I wear a narrow, and this shoe was not tight enough to my expectation. They slipped when I walked. If you want a narrow shoe, look further. If you can handle a looser fit, these will work.
