I liked the look of these a lot but there was something off on the arch support. Maybe it is the ALIGN feature. I think these shoes might be best for someone whose feet pronate inward, but mine don't/

I had hoped these would be more comfortable but I found the arch support and heel to be harder than I like. Wish it had more squish. They look cute but I can’t wear all day when standing all day.

Comfortable, last long, take a beating. Not much to look at, especially if you have a large or wide foot, they’re a little orthopedic looking. I work 12 hours on a busy unit. These actually lasted longer than a lot of shoes I bought in the past.

Very cute and goes well with most any casual clothes . Soles give a nice solid grip on smooth floor surfaces.My only negative is the laces, which are a bit flimsy and one broke when I was lacing tightly.

I'm a massage therapist and on my feet for many days a week and long hours. These shoes give me the support I need. The only drawback I have is the appearance. The shoes are black but have a light lining that really shows!

I have plantar fasciitis and am always on the hunt for all-black work shoes that provide relief. I wore the traditional Dansko Professional clogs for 20+ years but can't wear them for 10 hours on hard floors now...not enough cushion. I tried Keens (not enough arch support) and then went on to try running shoes (Asics) which are great but don't look very professional. On a whim, I recently tried the Nurse Mates Velocity and I have to admit they are awesome! They are very lightweight, have good arch support and I'm impressed. As another reviewer wrote, I'm not a fan of the heart logo on the side but that's the only criticism so far.

I usually wear Merrill's to work, but I decided to change it up when my last pair was too worn out to keep wearing. I think the arch in these shoes is a little too high for me, but overall they are really comfortable, my feet and back don't hurt by the end of my shift.

Great support which I'm not used to, needs some break in time wearing 4 hours at time. Nice design & light weight.

These are amazingly comfortable shoes. They do, in fact, looking like the actual nursing shoes my grandmother wore in the first part of the 20th century and the ones my mom wore in the 50s. Which is to say: blindingly white, rather clunky, rather . . . orthopedic looking. Shaped sole. That said, boy, do they feel good. I got the W width, so perhaps that has something to do with it, as the toe box area is very roomy. Pity they are not a little more zippy; I'm going to add funky laces to replace the . . . white . . . and perhaps that will add panache. I wouldn't, for example, wear them on a pub crawl. But might if I had to be on feet all day waiting tables . . . .

Not true Nurse Mates. Fit was off they slipped in both heels even though they were the correct length. Disappointing. They went back.

This shoes are comfortable and easy to disinfect. However, 4 months after use, they are falling apart. I have had other shoes that have lasted more than that. I do use them every day in the hospital.

Shoes claim they are slip resistant but they are not. I was slipping all night at work And the floors were not wet or greasy . What a shame

I returned these shoes right away since the heel is elevated, even with the insert removed. This puts additional stress on the ball of the foot, which is painful for me. I prefer manufacturers to leave a shoe flat and if someone wants an elevated heel they can choose a custom insert. I was disappointed as they look good. I wish the product descriptions would disclose elevated heels.

This shoe had good support but it was too tight in the toe. I don't like to break shoes in so I sent them back.

Nice looking show, true to size. the sole has too much give in it for my feet to be comfortable.

I ORDERED THIS IN 8W. LOVE THE COLOR, BUT THE SHOE WAS TOO SMALL AND TOO NARROW.

These shoes are not Nursemates, which I ordered. They are similar. Toe box is flatter. Leather seems cheaper. I am returning.

For the first few weeks, I loved these shoes! They were comfortable and actually fit my very wide feet (something very few shoes accomplish). I was so sad when after about 2 months of being a student nurse, the sole on both shoes began to peel off!!! They were great while they lasted. They just didn't ..... last.

Initially felt comfortable,but fabric doesn't breath,so my feet were hot and stinky.They caused an abrasion on my right fifth toe after wearing.

I want to like these shoes so badly because they look awesome and are "wipe clean". (I'm a floor nurse, that's important). But they are SOOOOO uncomfortable. I wore them around my house for an hour and had to take them off they were hurting my feet so badly. The contour of ankle area is too high and they make my feet ache immediately. I'll buy a pair of Saucony's instead.
