I was very surprised by the total lack of cushioning. Not what I expected.

Shoes fit well, work well for hiking and trail running pr just around town. However within just a few wears they have started to deteriorate around the seams. Probably would not purchase again

without sounding too critical, I had to return. they are narrow and hard to get on. I triple checked bèfore I did.

Runs small. I wear an 8.5 and should have ordered a 9. Made me toes feel tight and numb.

I have other ON shoes and ordered my same size 7.5, but these did not fit. They were too short and my big toe was touching the front of the shoe and overall the front was tight. After reading reviews regarding ricks and mud getting stuck in the bottom, which happens with my others I decided to try another shoe.

It and size was good but as other reviewers have said this shoe is designed to have you land toward the middle of the sole, not on the heel itself. It throws me off balance and causes my knees to hyperextend. I cannot wear them for those reasons. Otherwise they're quite comfortable.

I've had 2 pairs of these shoes. Use them for trail running nearly every day. They are very comfortable and I really like the wide outsole and squishy tread knobs which work well for me since I'm a tad on the clumsy side. For road running I always wear either Asics Gel Kayano or New Balance 1260's but they are too narrow for me to run trails. Unfortunately, I will NOT be purchasing another pair of these. I find they wear out too quickly, especially for $150 shoes! After about 4-5 months on my 2nd pair the outside tread is still good but the interior of the shoe has broken down significantly, and there is a squeaking noise that won't go away. Although I do wear these nearly every day, I only run about 3-4 miles a day, since I'm running trails with a LOT of hills. If I could combine the awesome cushioning in my road shoes with the outsole/tread of these shoes, I'd be in trail running heaven!

I had to return them bc they were too tight. I’ve been an 8-1/2 in every other shoe made and this one fit super tight. It looks really nice but sadly, it didn’t work

Fit was fine and I love the look however these shoes are advertised for "Technical trails, steep climbs, rocky terrain, downhill cushioning". I ran in them on rocky steep terrain and had to stop numerous times to pull the rocks out of the soles. This has been an issue with On since my first pair, thus the reason I normally just purchase them for walking around town. I decided to try this new model Cloudventure because of the description. They just don't work on a rocky trail. I'll stick with Hoka for trail running.

I ordered the same brand and model of trainer 3 years ago and have been very pleased with the shoe. After many miles the foam on the back started to break down so I ordered another pair. The fabric is softer and offers less support and the shoes felt sloppy on my foot, although I ordered the same size as previous pair. Bought my first pair of ON shoes in late 2018 and bought 7 pairs, in different models and love them - but these did not work at all. Disappointing after so many great fittings.

Looks great. Virtually no cushioning. Very uncomfortable.

I'm very disappointed. Had high hopes! This model is supposed to be the best for arch support/overprontors. Much better and more affordable options on the market that this brand. For the $$ extremely dissappointed.

Loved the soles - think these would be amazing on crazy trails with uneven terrain, roots, rocks, and other challenges. But - the liner was already fraying where it attached to the exterior upper near the eyelets (seemed to be happening on both shoes. Liner material and upper are so thin, I think this would be a problem with any pair, not just a one off manufacturing flaw with this pair.

I found these shoes very uncomfortable, lacking midfoot support, and no cushioning on the top of the foot. They fit through the toe area but were too wide through the heel of the shoe. I will return these shoes.

LOVE THESE SHOES. Back here hoping to order another pair. Very light, great support and excellent tread. I buy a size up on hikers so I wouldn't say that run small but I like a big toe box so went up 1/2 size.

I love these trail running shoes! I did learn that with On shoes you need to order a half size larger. I normally wear a 5 but ordered a 5.5 and it fit perfectly. I really like the color (I'm not in to crazy bright colors so the olive color is great). These shoes were comfortable right out of the box and I am excited to take them on the trails!

These were just what I was looking for, unfortunately they were a half size too short and my toes were cramped. I’m right in between a 7.5-8, in these I need an 8 and they are out of stock.

Im size 7.5 in other models of the same brand, but in this one i had to buy an 8.5.

Comfortable and waterproof!
