Fit and size were alright, althoug these seem narrower than the Cloudflyer I had before. Quality is poor, though. I bought these less than 1 month ago--the tread on one show is already wearing flat and today the lining of the tongue tore loose. it's just a flap of woven fabric sewn to the tongue-- now finished edge, nothing-- so the fabric appears to have unraveled past the point of the stitch line.

Ordered and received my usual size 9.5. Beautiful box presentation; they are expensive and the packaging reflects that. Distressingly, I could barely squeeze one foot (with running socks) into an ON Cloudventure! Far too narrow to be of any use to me. I wear a Teva Universal Canyon hiking sandal size 8 and a Merrell Moab 2 at size 9.5. Increasingly, trail shoes are getting lighter; my OBOZ pair at size 9 now feel like lead weights. I wanted a lighter trail shoe, similar to a HOKA ONE ONE, but, due to Coronavirus delays, HOKAS are un available,. So, knowing of ZAPPOS' generous return policy, I took a chance on Cloudventures, and, earlier, a pair of Merrel MOM Flex at size 9. Frankly, I now give up on these expensive models and, just to get me through the spring and summer on days when I chose to walk on macadam, I ordered a pair of gel Asics Venture on sale! I am 75, size XL and 50 lbs overweight and training for my fourth Camino/Spain in April 2021.

Fit was spot on from my other pair of On shoes. I love that this pair is waterproof. They are a bit heavier than my other shoes, but have much better grippers on the sole. Very pleased with my purchase.

Everything feels great, tho I was a little surprised that they were wides when that wasn't an ordering option?

These hiking shoes are super comfortable. They have very good support, look really good. I wore them on a 4 hour hike not a fullout mountain expedition.

Like Mizunos I have to order 1/2 size up. I ordered 8.5 and they are too short. These are on top of my list in terms of support and comfort. I have thin flat feet and they other OC I have tried Cloudflyer are too soft on the bottoms. I feel ground under the balls of my feet. These- that's not the case. SO for those who pronate and have thin feet I would suggest Saucony Omni 19 (go up 1/2 size), the Mizuno WaveINspire 16 (go up 1/2 size) and the Salewa Dropline (go up 1/2 size)

I loved my old Cloudventures and am not disappointed in these! I love them for trail running - the sole stands up to rocks and wear better than any other shoe I’ve worn. Yet they are lightweight enough for fluid movement. I gave all 5 stars because I have loved this style for years, but they do have a couple of faults. They are roomy around the top of the foot and don’t always tie as tight as I would like. My feet don’t come out of the heel, but I can tell it’s a looser fit.

I have a very difficult time finding trail running shoes given my size (5-5.5) and high insteps. Enter the Cloudventure. I adore these shoes and have put just shy of 300 miles on my first pair. Looking forward to retiring and replacing them at the end of this season! They seem to run about a 1/4 size larger than my Clouds, but a thicker sock takes care of that issue for me. One thing to note, the large lugs of the soles do occasionally pick up rocks, but they are easily dislodged. These shoes perform very well on everything from slippery mud to rocky scrambling and I like that they strike the balance between being well-cushioned but not unstable (like Hokas tend to be).

Fit really well on the toe box and the heel stayed in place.

I am normally a size 8 but I always size up 1/2 size with these. This is my 3rd purchase of these shoes. I love the lightweight fit. Great for traveling.

I love the soft, cushioned material . I have arthritis in my feet and these shoes have really helped my pain go away.

I've run in these twice now (~6 miles) outside on a dirt/gravel road and am very happy with them. I've only had a rock get stuck in the tread of my shoe once. Love how much protection & cushion they provide. My feet often get sore from running on gravel/rocks, but these shoes, paired with Feetures Max Cushion Socks, resulted in no soreness after running. I only wish there were more color options available! Overall great trail shoe.

Ran the trail with these & love them. Did not experience any of the heel/sole issues some are, they feel like they were made for my feet. Very stable over roots & rocks. Extremely comfortable. 10/10 would buy again.

These trail shoes are AMAZING! I have a pair of OC road running shoes and was skeptical to buy a pair of the trail shoes because of reviews I read about trail debris getting stuck in the tread and also balance issues due to the unique sole design towards the heel of the shoes. I have run in these twice so far. Both times on a heavily wooded and varying grade trail. I have yet to experience rocks, twigs, or anything else getting trapped in the treads. I also have not had any counterbalance issues. Honestly, I think you would have to have pre-existing balance issues if you're having a hard time walking/running in these. The Cloudventure offers the same cushy cradle, excellent traction and stability and lightweight, breathable construction that this company is known for. I felt like I could run for hours (which is important since I have a few enduro races coming up). I usually wear an 8.5 (and that is the size I bought in my CloudFlows), but opted to buy an 8 in trail shoes because I didn't want to have too much slippage room. With Clouds ample toe box, my toes were fine. No rubbing, no blisters, no cramped feeling, and most importantly my bunion didn't shriek! If you are on the fence, give these a try! I don't think you will be disappointed!

The Cloudventure is a great sneaker and felt very comfortable. However, since I need a tremendous amount of support, I felt the material just wouldn't be enough for me. I bought Asics instead.

Outstanding shoe/sneaker. Fits like a glove...holds the foot perfectly...good for over pronation...comfortable right out of the box..but I wish they looked less of a “hiking shoe”...bought the green/pink 9.5

This is my second pair of ON shoes. They are incredible, stylish and super comfortable. Highly recommend, you will not be disappointed. Get a half size bigger for toe room.

These weren’t as comfortable as I had hoped. The shoe was a great look. I’m on my feet all day and wanted more cushion

This sneakers seem great. I really love the style. The problem is that they are extremely narrow. I tried them with my regular socks and the length was perfect but the width was excruciatingly tight. I even tried them with no socks and they were still too tight.

Great looking shoe. Light weight but you can feel that they are a little "chunkier" then normal trainers. They have more grip to them. They do feel stiffer then normal as well, which is a great thing for a hiking/trail running shoe. My normal size in On is a 8 but i for sure needed to go up a half size in there. My toes were touching the front of the shoe. I didn't get to use them due to having to return to go up a 1/2 size but i could tell the comfort and arch were of moderate support and cushion. Overall seems like a great trail shoe.

Stylish trail running shoes. I wear 8.5 for every day shoes, and I size up in running shoes to a 9 or 9.5. I had to go up to a 9.5 because these ran short in the toe box. I usually wouldn't want to go a full size bigger for trail shoes, but for these, a 9.5 feels like a 9. Width is good and comfortable (and my feet are a little wide). The bottoms are surprisingly slippery in the rain when on pavement, so knocking off a star.

Fit very well for my narrow foot. Did not realize that there was no heel at the back of foot; look at side view. Therefore not stable enough for walking. Returned.

Shoe fit well but developed tears on the top of the shoe after a few weeks of wear. I expected a trail running shoe to be more durable.
