This bag replaced a stolen timbuk2 bag that had over 5 years of use. The old bag was sturdy and made of tough thick material. This bag, in comparison, doesn't seem like it will last more than a couple years of hard use. It's very lightweight, lacks a rigid back plate making laptop insertion when not empty a bit difficult. The quality of the materials seems good, I just wish I did a bit more research and knew how lightweight the bag was, I would've picked a different model if I had...

4.5 stars, if I could. Great backpack, very well made, great materials, great size for commuting or weekend travel. I only wish there was one more pocket or divider inside, even another small one at the top instead of at the bottom. Otherwise, this is perfect.

I love the Tuck backpacks! They are very roomy, there is a separate compartment for laptop and two side pockets perfect for water bottles. I use this pack for travel and mountain bike trips to throw in my cloths. The downside with the custom colored one is that it is missing the front zip with pocket. That was one of my favorite features on my previous tuck Backback and I am really missing it because the main compartment becomes too messy with all my things packed together. I was not expecting this one to miss that feature, hence not five stars.

Starting using it for my daily commute that involves riding a shuttle + walking/biking in the company campus. So far, I am pleased with the bag.
Things I love:
1. The quality of the materials used is pretty high and impressive. Looks like it is made to last long. Sturdy.
2. Love the side pocket that eliminates the need for opening the main compartment (top entry) every time. I remember not going w/o having to open the bag from top for days.
3. The front pockets are nice and have plenty of room for stuff.
4. Looks modern and stylish
What could be better:
1. A bit more organization on the inside.
2. Side pockets that allow easier entry/exit for water bottles. One pocket doesn't fit the bottle I carry (24oz) and it take a bit of focused effort to insert the bottle in the other pocket.

Amazing laptop bag that can hold a lot of stuff. I have a lot of Timbuk2 bags and this one is just right for daily riding to college. I usually have my laptop, charger, mouse, and textbooks but there is still enough space for a puffer jacket. The only problem is that I have to use my own laptop sleeve because while there is padding at the back of the bag, there is just a thin fabric wall inside to seperate the laptop compartment from the main one. The laptop zipper is extremely useful for class since I don't have to undo the buckle. The outside pockets are also super roomy, although when the bag is filled up, they get pushed out; thus limiting the space of the pockets. Overall, a very good buy for a student that bikes to school everyday.

I'm loving this backpack! Water resistant and very durable- holds so much! Only reason I'm giving it a 4 instead of a 5 is because it doesn't have a way to strap it over my suitcase. Would give it 4.5 if I could!

I used to work at Peet's coffee and tea and Christmas season 2018, my store won a coffee bean drive. We all received tuck bag packs with the Peet's logo on it. My favorite part of the bag pack was the secret wallet pocket. I noticed on this one, all the pockets are now in the front. Still a great design but would love to see the wallet pocket on the back of the bag again!

Bag is solid, not as amazing as most of Timbuk2 bags but it does the job. My son uses for school stuff so very practical. Thanks.

I use the bag when commuting. I love the wide top opening, everything including the helmet fits easily in the bag, the zippers location is excellent. I wish the laptop section was padded from all sides and that the laptop wouldn't be able to move around init.

I bought this product years ago and thought it was the same but has much thinner water resistant material on the front now instead of canvas which isn't clear when you buy. I wish I had made a custom version so I could choose the materials.

I use this backpack as my everyday school/commute now. I really like the material and colorway. I wish there were more interior pockets so I can have designated spaces to put items since lately I've been having to fish out the items from the bottom of the bag sometimes. Overall would recommend.

Although the orange reflective material is way more red than I imagined I'm still happy I chose it. It is super reflective which is the most important because I ride my bike to school and want to visible in the morning and evening when it's getting dark. The roll top is slightly shorter than I expected but I think it'll give me some extra space in case I need to pack an extra layer or pick up some groceries on my way home. I love the customizable option. My bag is unique and will make me visible.

So far it seems to be well built and holding up well. I love the pockets (especially the laptop side pocket) and that there is a little elastic on the water bottle spots where I can clip on my water bottle and umbrella to secure them. I'm not a huge fan of the way the clip is set up. I like to fold in the sides first so it looks a little neater which works but the straps are sewn into the backpack so you can only fold it over so far. Also the top buckle is sewn in so it's not interchangeable. Which is disappointing because I wanted to switch it to a magnetic close and I worry it will be hard to fix if it breaks (which many reviews have reported). Otherwise it's exactly what I wanted- a slim profile, professional backpack with easy access to my laptop that can easily expand when I need it to.

Love the color everything from the outside looks great. It came out exactly as the picture when I was customizing it. The only thing I would say is the inside of the back pack is really dark so it hard to see the inside pockets sometimes.

I'm really happy I purchased this backpack. It's lightweight and flexible enough to hold a weekend's worth of clothes. I use it for work to hold a 16" laptop and my belongings.
The only thing I have a bone to pick about are the pockets. I understand it's helpful for biking if you need to grab something, (the zipper and pouch are upright if you sling one shoulder over) but that makes it limited to what I can store in there. pens/pencils/chapstick are not ideal.
Overall it's a perfect backpack and I love timbuk2. I would most def buy more!

It's a great bag, perfect for day trips. The waterproofing is great and the canvas is durable. Only thing is the buckle is sewn too high and you can only get one roll in the top so its more a fold over than a roll.

I love this bag, I use it as a diaper bag for my twin babies. Why I didn't give it 5 stars is because I wish it had more pockets, it would be perfect with a front zipper as well!
