The bag is extremely comfortable. The design of the bad helps me remain organized. I would recommend this bag for anyone commuting to work via public transportation.

I'm a full-time adult student and I ride a scooter. I love being able to access everything via the roll top with one adjustable clip. The reflective material at the top is nice for night riding, the waterproof bottom is great if I need to set my pack on the ground. There's a big inside pocket which holds my pens, glasses and some travel toiletries that a keep in a pen bag and drop into the pocket. There's a couple smaller pockets that holds a couple pens, phone or a small pad of paper or notecards. I'd recommend getting a smaller (thinner) water bottle to slip in the outer pockets as they don't stretch. I like the durable cordura fabric. I got the red and it's fun and functional and easy to clean. I did spray the whole pack with a fabric protector to keep off stains. The padded zippered pocket on the back is easy to access and holds my 13 inch MacBook Air snugly. Love it!

Because of the roll down top, I can fit a lot more in the backpack as opposed to an ordinary backpack that has a flap. Side pockets are big enough to fit a slim travel mug. Loved that I got to choose the colors. High quality.

I've always hated bucket-styled backpacks. It's possibly because I don't like having a deep pouch where things can get lost, and there's no sense of organization. When I decided to get this backpack, it was actually after hours of researching other designs and ignoring this one. The other style I was originally looking for was something that can open up like a book or suitcase. However, those have always proved too boxy or bulky for my 5'2" frame. I ultimately decided on this backpack cause a friend whose style I really admire wore this specific model. Yes, shallow I know! But this backpack turned out to be more amazing than I expected. I tend to overstuff my backpack since I workout a lot, so the clip on the top is incredibly forgiving. No more exploding zippers for me!! Also, it has JUST the right amount of pockets - one for my metro card, one for my laptop, one for my wallet, and one for my pens. The quality is great as well and generally maintains its shape as long as you don't treat it terribly. I hate it when backpacks look all mushed and flimsy. Finally, the black is so dark, that it's quite modern and chic. Great backpack and design. My first TimBuk2 and I'm not disappointed.

Love this bag. I've been using one as a carry on for years. Recently purchased another as a work bag. My students call it my Mary Poppins bag. Super roomie, great quality.

I'm a sucker for the bottomless bag. I don't care for inside pockets, extra zippered parts; I love just piling stuff in and digging for what I need. This bag is perfect and even when stuffed fits under the seat on the

I love my new bag. It looks absolutely amazing, fits all of my things in the main compartment that I need, and is all around an amazing bag. There are a couple things, however, that would make this bag even more amazing. This bag is great if you want to just throw everything you need into one compartment. The side access zippers are amazing and highly functional and I use them as much as I use the top of my bag. It is truly unique and I feel super cool when I wear it. 10/10 would recommend this bag for any professional for day to day commuting. 1) A key lanyard coming out of the hidden pocket. I actually reattached my key lanyard from a past timbuk2 bag in this compartment and it works great and adds additional functionality to that pocket. 2) an internal zipper pocket. I find myself wanting a few more pockets in this bag. It has definitely led me to organize my things differently, which has been good, but having an internal zipper pocket like my messenger bag would be great. 3) Padding the laptop sleeve and back of the pack a little more. I would also flag that the bag all around looks a little bit darker in person (the toxic color) than in the photos, which I liked even more, but wasnt quite what I was expecting. The zipper is also way brighter than I thought it would be based on the photos. It would also be a good idea to provide photos of the inside of the bag because I couldnt find any anywhere and would have liked to know that the inside is an olive green with neon orange piping (again, I like this, but I could see others not liking this as much).

I've owned quite a number of Timbuk2 packs over the years with varying success on the sizing - usually too small to handle my max capacity commute. With the Tuck I've been extremely impressed so far. I'm constantly amazed by everything I can fit in it - I was hesitant at first thinking it may not be up to the task of hauling my lunch, gym clothes + shoes, laptop, power cord, notebook, and coffee mug. But somehow it fits it all while managing to not be bulky. Super satisfied and LOVING the simple/clean design. Highly recommend and would buy again. I've also gotten quite a few compliments along my travels with it!

Maybe the headline is a bit sensational, but I've been riding a lot more lately and this bag has made cargo-oriented errands like groceries a lot more enjoyable. Roll top is great for the occasion that the leeks are too long, or you want a whole spear of Brussels sprouts. One thing though is there is no ventilation on the back, expect to get sweaty with this thing on.

I bike commute to school with a toddler on my bike. In bad weather we take the bus. I've only had my Tuck for a few weeks so we are still in the honeymoon phase but I do love it. It is comfortable and the slim design makes it easy to shove in my bike pannier or tuck between my legs on the bus. I carry the same amount of stuff I carried in my old backpack but it feels lighter and is so much more comfortable. I only have two complaints. 1) I wish there was a caribiner inside the outer pocket to hook my keys on so they would be easier to retrieve. 2) It does not stand up when I set it down so i have to lean it against something or hold it upright. In all these are minor inconveniences which are easy to put up with since the back is so lovely, comfortable, and sleek!

First off, I love this backpack. Second, I experienced two drawbacks: the side pockets do not fit my Nalgene water bottle or my bicycle lock. It's just a matter of access on the go, though. Ultimately, I love this backpack enough to get a new water bottle and a new lock.

I got this bag for my commute walking 30 min to work and also to double as a gym bag. Theres plenty of room for everything without looking like you're going on an overnight camping trip while walking around the city. The laptop compartment in the back is so nice since my gym clothes and lunch don't have to intermingle. I love that there are two side compartments so I can have water in one and coffee in the other. Bottom line...this bag is equal parts stylish and functional. I didn't want to get a super expensive leather bag that I would be throwing around and putting my lunch in. Would 133% buy again.

I searched for a backpack that was practical and comfortable for everyday use...for both work and personal bike commuting. My Tuck pack is perfect for a small framed, 63 year old urban woman for commuting on my bicycle, walking and public transportation. I could utilize more pockets, but I am very happy with my decision.

I was originally looking at another pack (The armory) when I saw this one in the store and I was taken back by how much larger it looked in real life. The main compartment is so much deeper than it appears online. I go on lots of quick weekend trips, and this pack saves the day. It's so roomie and has just enough pockets for someone like me who doesn't have a ton of gadgets, just the essentials. The straps are pretty basic but comfortable. There isn't a whole lot of mess backing or utility straps other then the one for the main compartment. It's sleek, it's stylish, it's everything I was looking for in a new pack. I had my old pack for eleven years when it finally kicked the bucket, so anything you invest in TIMBUK2 you won't regret! Cheers!

I need a bag to hold a lot of items for a daily commute since I moved to Trinidad. I have gone through so many totes but came across this bag online. It's been a few months so far and I am shocked at how amazing this backpack is. It took a beating during the heavy rainfalls and everything inside was dry. It's able to hold a lot of items and still feel comfortable to wear. Never thought a backpack would change my life. One amazing product, definitely will be buying more from Timbuk2. Quality is off the charts. I only wish this bag had a bit more pockets but other than that its a game changer for me.

Was worried it would be too big for my frame (I'm 5'8, 125lbs) but wasn't overwhelming at all and looks very sleek. Have been using it for a 2 week backpacking trip in Taiwan. Doesn't feel too hot/sticky in this 90F weather. Feels really high quality and love how simple it is and how you can really fill it how much you need and fold over if you're not carrying so much. However, since I am traveling and walking with it full and it's a bit heavy, some hip straps would have been perfect, but when I use it back home for my daily use I think it's better without. Definitely recommend for daily commute/school/work and light trips!
