I read the reviews and ordered 2 sizes. I am a true size 8M and ordered 8 1/2 also. The 8M fit perfect so these shoes are true to size, my foot is narrow, though. They aren't the most attractive shoes, but they are comfortable and will do the job. My foot does not slide around in this shoe. I think I will get alot of wear from these shoes. I purchased for my office job. I don't do much walking so not sure how they would feel if I was on my feet during the day.

I was hoping to use my orthotics in these shoes but they were not wide enough even though I bought a slightly larger size. Sadly, I will be returning them.

The shoe was hard for me to get on. I had to pull hard on the heel tab. There was something about the top of the shoe that just made it difficult. Once they were on they fit fine. I just don't want to struggle with shoes that take so much effort to get into so I am sending them back.

Looked like a quality shoe. It felt tight across the top and a little snug pulling them on, had to wiggle a bit. I am a consistent 9 Wide and that is what I purchased. I returned this item.

I was desperate to find shoes for work to wear with pants. These aren’t the cutest shoes but they are so comfortable. They look much better in person. I found them to run small. I needed to order a half size up

Love the look of this shoe but I ordered a Wide & it feels VERY Narrow. Sadly, I must return. :(

I had to return these babies – I have a very high instep (and arthritis problems on the top of my foot), and the top portion of the shoe just felt too tight. They probably would have stretched out a bit, but I didn't want to take a chance. It was really hard to get my feet inside without a shoe horn, just because of the design of the opening. That said, once they were on, I could see that they would be very comfortable. Super lightweight, good support and a nice, squishy footbed. They wouldn't win any fashion contests, but worn with jeans, just fine. They'd be great walking shoes for those who don't have an instep problem.

It’s difficult to get on as the opening is very small but once it is, it’s super comfortable! I don’t have much of an instep so they are perfect for me but someone with any instep at all probably wouldn’t be able to get these on. I’m an airline employee who stands and walks all day and these were wonderful from the first minute I put them on.

I wish this shoe came in 10 1/2N, and I wish that Narrow really meant Narrow! I have ordered this to try in several different sizes and widths, and found that the Medium widths actually measured more narrow across the bottom of the shoe than the Narrow. I think sometimes they just slap whatever size you ask for on the shoe, without regard to actual measurement. So grateful I can try shoes on without penalty due to Zappos generous return policy!

I wear 10N, but found that the 10M actually measured more narrow across the bottom of the shoe than the 10N. Unfortunately, it was still not narrow enough. Otherwise very comfortable!

I have bad feet and these really are amazingly comfortable - the cushy footbed is lovely and the wide width is truly wide. The look is pretty much Mrs. Doubtfire but if you can get past that, they are very light and comfortable.

I was hoping these would be as comfortable as the Sillian Jette (sp) shoes by Clark that were the most comfortable shoes I have worn in years. I would have very happily bought more of those if they had been available. These were OK but the fabric seemed thin. They didn't fit like gloves. I found it difficult to get them on my feet. The upper front tongue area is long and the opening small. I had to struggle a bit to pull them on. My expectations were too high and disappointed I sent them back

These are good looking shoes. However, they are shorter that expected. Also narrower than expected. Since I have high insteps, they feel right across.

Felt a little tight in these. Will see if they come in width. Otherwise would be nice shoes for work slacks/jeans

These shoes are so light! They would be awesome for work. I just feel that they are a tad too narrow, and I ordered the wide.

I really wanted to like this shoe. They were a bit tight getting them on. But, after getting them on, they felt very good. I had on a thin pair of low cut socks with them, also. Wore them around the house for a few minutes - no problems. Then, the ball on my left foot starting aching just a bit. I don't fault the shoes, it is my crazy, aging feet. So, have to return. Thank you, Zappos, for making shopping for shoes a whole lot easier.

Felt good on, didn’t make my ‘boats’ (size 12 feet) look like the skis they are. The style just wasn’t what I was wanting - I guess the picture and in person didn’t jive.

I tried this dhoe in three different colors and each onx fit differently. I kept the black even the the heel is a little bit loose on the R shoe. I can fix with heel gripper. These shoes are like bedroom slippers and not vety stylish, but boy are they great for a whole day on your feet. As others have noted, if you have a high instep you won't beanle to get your foot in the shoe.

I love these shoes! There is not a lot of arch support but overall the shoes are very comfortable. I wore them right out of the box with no breakin period. Granted, I wouldn't want to wear them hiking but for normal daily use, they are great. I've only had them a few days so I don't know how well they will hold up, especially in inclement weather. For me they were true to size. I recommend them and may order another color!

Very comfortable shoes. I wear them all day. I did need to order a half size larger than normal and they do not slip on easily but once they are on you never want to take them off! Very well made

I love the material, look and light weight of this shoe. It is exactly what I was looking for. Unfortunately, even buying a half size larger, it is too narrow for my foot. If there was a bit of stretch to it, or it had been just a little wider, it would have been a perfect shoe. I'm marking down the comfort because it was painful to try on!

I usually wear a 10N and would expect this shoe to accommodate a sock but this 10N was too small (around the big toe) with hose - otherwise a soft and very comfortable shoe.
