I'm looking for a shoe to wear with dresses for an upcoming European vacation. I am a 6 wide but usually wear a 6.5 in a lace up.My foot is wide in the instep and narrow in the heel. I tried these in a 6.5 and they were too big so I returned them for a 6 wide. They are a little clunky looking, not as comfy as I would like in the toe box, and still too big in the heel, but I will get some heel inserts, and make them work. I am keeping them because they are only $50.00, fit ok, will work with a dress, and are lightweight for packing. Also I have tried and returned too many to count. Thank you Zappos for making the returns so easy.

Really like these shoes! But they are just a bit too narrow around and across the toes, and too wide in the heel. So have to return them :(

My middle toe on my right foot is very long (longer than big toe) and is painfully jammed by most shoes (a medium width fits the rest of my foot, especially the heel) so, to avoid that excruciating pain which can last for days afterward, I got these in wide width for my toe— so now it’s too wide except for my toe which is quite comfortable for once. Since they’re Mary Janes, there’s a strap keeping the rest of my feet in the shoes (the heels would slip out otherwise). The toe box is generous and would be okay in medium if I wore them only for short periods of time, but I’m going on a trip and have to take only a few pairs of shoes and wear them for long periods of time.

Couldn't even fit my foot in the side 8M shoe (my normal size). Not as attractive in person as they were online.

These are like walking on clouds but don’t feel supportive to me. The style was okay but I guess I just like a real leather shoe. I think they might work fine for some people.

There's lots I like about the shoe -- support, color and style. BUT these shoes were too short for me. I'm thinking about ordering a half-size larger.

Should have taken the other reviews seriously. Although there is absolutely no support, the comfort of the shoe wasn't too bad. However, there was a huge gap between the top of the shoe and my toes -- so much so that I could fit all my fingers in that space. The strap kept my foot in place except for a slight slipping of the heels; but, that gap was very noticeable. I would have had to add a very, very thick insert in the toe of the shoe along with heel inserts. So, unfortunately, back they go. Thank goodness for the wonderful Zappos' generous return policy.

I really liked this shoe. Unfortunately, my feet are very difficult to fit - I have to buy two sizes (which makes my shoe shopping expensive) to fit the differing lengths of my feet and both feet are very wide. This shoe would have been very comfortable except for the fact that the width of the heel is TOO wide and my feet slip -- even if I wear socks. I debated on keeping the shoes and trying to "make do" but finally decided that I would likely not wear the shoes because of the slipping heel -- and that would be a waste of my money. I really appreciate Zappo's customer service.

The style is cute but I wish they were comfortable. The material is very ridged and does not have any give to it. If you require a wide toe box, these are not the shoe for you. I will be returning them.

This shoe felt at least 1/2 size too small.

The insole is very soft and felt like walking on a cloud. The width of the shoe base was fine, but there is too much material above/around the toes (I ordered a narrow). I could stick my hand between the shoe and top of my foot/toes.

These shoes had some cushioning but not a lot. The problem for me was the flatness of the shoe. I was hoping for just a little more lift in the heel.

Cute shoe but no support. I usually wear 9w but this was a little too big.

Some people said their shoe didn't look like the images, but mine did. I ordered it in black denim and I thought it was very cute. The "Cloudsteppers" sole is super comfortable and such a relief to my feet! But I had to send them back because there isn't any support in the side wall. The strap is placed oddly and doesn't allow for a close fit.

This shoe was so comfortable out of the box! Soft and squishy insole, plenty of room in the toe (especially once I moved up to an 8 from my usual 7.5). But, I have a very high instep, and so the strap barely reaches across my foot to the other side. Some of the velcro on the strap touched my skin, and after wearing and walking for a day, it had rubbed and irritated the top of my foot, almost like a bruise.

I really wanted to like this shoe, but I should have returned them. They don't stay on my feet! At first I thought the heel was too wide, so I bought inserts that stick to the inside of the backs. I think the problem is that the strap is too far forward and doesn't hold the shoe on my foot. They jus too t fit right.
