I absolutely love these! I was hesitant about ordering them at first because I thought they would be to "fancy" because of the heel and not enough on the rugged side. I was wrong! They are the perfect blend of rugged and chic. They are perfect for everyday wear in the winter. I love that they are fleece lined which makes them warm enough but not too warm like the wool lined boots. I am normally a true 8 and ordered an 8.5. They fit perfect with enough wiggle room and will most likely fit with thicker socks as well. I wasn't sure if I would love the heel but I absolutely do! It gives you a nice boost in height and makes this boot unique. Very happy with these boots!!

These are lovely and comfortable. I followed the other reviewers' advice regarding sizing, and am glad I did. I'm normally a size 6 (very rarely, a 6.5), and I ordered these in a 7. With thick socks, they fit absolutely perfectly, and even with thinner socks they are comfortable.

I absolutely love these boots. I bought them around Christmas and wore them every day for the first week and often now. They have good arch support, are warm and very comfortable. I bought a another duck boot first, but after trying on the Sorrel Slimpack Duck Boot with its great fit and comfort, I returned the others. My shoe size is usually a 5 or a 5.5 but in the Sorel boot I am a size 6.

Love these boots, ordered a 7 1/2 as well as a 7 kept the 7 1/2 they fit perfectly. Sleek design and I love the small heel. Looks great with almost anything.

I picked these out as a holiday gift and have basically not taken them off (except to sleep or ski) since I received them. We are already having a super snowy winter here in Montana, these are great for daily wear. I keep them loosely laced for easy on/off at the door. I am a narrow 8 1/2-9 and I ordered in a 9 1/2, same as my tall Sorels, they fit just fine. The heel is super cute and I have done plenty of walking with no issues. Perfect with skinny jeans. Many complements. Worth the $!

You for sure need to order one size larger than your normal size. I wear an 8 1/2 and I ordered a 9 1/2 and they fit perfect. I love the way they feel. They are very comfortable and not at all clunky. They don't look huge on your feet even though you have to order a whole size larger. They are great! I'm so excited to wear them. I live in Texas and so I am limited to rain and cold weather but I look forward to those days now.

This is a great snow/winter boot! I bought these to replace a pair of LLBean boots, and these are by far more comfortable. The size is a little tricky. I would order a size up. I am usually a 5.5 and ordered the 6, and I still can't wear really thick wool socks with them (though the thinner SmartWool socks were just fine). These boots kept my feet dry and warm while hiking and sledding in the Cascade Mountains. I am very happy with my purchase.

These boots are super cute! I wouldn't say they're the warmest but they aren't technically snow boots- more for rain, which is perfect in the PNW! They make my feet look small! However, they do run small! I wear a 6.5 in regular shoes, a 7 in nikes and running shoes and I had to order a 7.5- which fit perfect! They are a bit stiff in the ankle which is awkward for stairs but I'm sure they'll get more soft with wear. I hope they last forever! PS the first pair I got had a weird section of extra fabric that rubbed against my foot. I called Zappos and they told me they'd send me a pair that will get here the next day! This is the first time I utilized their customer service and it really is freaking amazing!

I love these! They are not huge and clunky like other sorels that make you feel like you have clown feet. They are super comfy, snug, very warm. The tan color is beautiful! Very well made, excellent materials. I wear them on cold days all the time even if it's not snowing/raining, because they are so warm. Would highly recommend, they do run a little small, I usually wear an 8 in boots, 7 1/2 in sneakers and I had to get an 8 1/2 in these.

I love these boots.... but SIZE UP!!! They are the best duck boots out there, materials have a much richer look than some out there. I am normally an 8 on everything, but when I ordered them they were REAL snug. So I exchanged for a 9, and they fit perfect!!!

Just received these boots before heading to NYC for Xmas events with my BFFs. These were the only boots/shoes I brought with me and wore them everywhere as they looked super cute with leggings and over-sized top or sweater dress. I wanted a warm but comfortable boot as I probably walked 4 to 5 miles a day in them. My feet felt great by end of the day. Highly recommend. Do go up a size as I normally wear a 7 to 71/2 and got an 8. Got lots of compliments from the locals in NYC too!

I bought these boots in black and couldn't be happier with the design and style. I ordered a full size up based on other customer feedback but honestly could have gone up only half a size because I don't plan to wear bulky socks with them. I'd advise using your athletic shoe size unless you plan to wear them with thick socks; if so go up another half size above your athletic shoe size. Even without thick socks these are quite warm and comfortable.

These boots are even better in person. I would suggest ordering AT LEAST 1/2 size up if not a full size up if you are planning to wear thicker socks. I will be exchanging my 9 1/2's for a 10 to allow for a thicker sock. I usually wear a 9.

Love these. First day I wore them, I walked over 6 miles on the cold wet streets of NYC, and my feet stayed nice and warm. Comfy too. I usually wear a size 10 but sized up to an 11 per other reviews. They are perfect - on the bigger side, but work great with thick socks. Love the color of the leather - it's so pretty!

Ordered three sizes in this boot due to the mixed reviews. My true size, 8.5, felt too small. Size 9 fit perfectly with a tiny bit of wiggle room to accommodate thicker tights or socks. Never even trie on size 9.5. The only downside, which I'm sure is just a fluke, is a prickly threat that keeps stabbing me in the leg. For this reason I will be returning all three pairs I ordered, but already have a replacement size 9 on its way to me. Overall this is a great boot, which would be good for staying warm and dry while walking around town without feeling like you're lugging heavy weights on your feet (looking at you, Joan of Arctic).

Please believe the reviews....these run very small. I bought a full size larger than my normal shoe size and they are perfect. The boots haven't been worn in winter weather yet, but now I am prepared! They have nice support which I needed for some foot problems and seem like they will be nice and warm. They are much less bulky than some of the other Sorels which make them look nicer for wearing out to do errands in snowy or icy weather.

I've been wearing them almost every day since I got them! They look great with my usual fall uniform of jeans and a sweater and fit just right regardless of sock thickness. Since I bought them, I've been doing a lot of hefty yardwork and they've been holding up to scuffs and superficial damage, staying warm and watertight and gripping well on rough terrain. Second pair of Sorels I've bought and loved.

These are pretty cool. Nice arch support. Bought them to replace my Keen boots which have no traction. The traction on this pair is good. Cute if u are into skinny jeans or leggings but still work with bootcut jeans. Nice and warm. Usually I wear a 7 but bought an 8 according to reviews. They fit perfectly. Cool thing is that if i keep the laces loose I can just slip into them easily without untying or cinch the down for a better fit. Only negative is the heel cushion of which there is pretty much none. Just spent walking for three hours and would have loved some heel cushion. Still waiting on snow but I think these will work well. Very happy with my purchase.

I found these last week at a department store, and they were on sale, so I thought I would give them a go. I was looking for something similar to the Sperry Duckboot, but with a better fit (the Sperry's fit me weird). I tried the size 9 on in these and they were super tight. They didn't have a 9.5 in store, so we were going to order them and have them sent to me. They had a 10, so I said let me try them on for the heck of it and they actually fit me really good. I had boot socks on, so that could have factored into the tightness of the 9, but the 10's fit perfectly. Not only with the tightness, but also in length. So I would advise sizing up a half to whole size. As for the weather, it hasn't snowed much yet (shockingly), so I don't know how they'll hold up in that weather, but I do know that they're great in the rain. My feet stay warm and dry. I definitely recommend. This is my second pair of Sorels; first ones were the "Newbie" style.
