I've had the "older" version of these shoes for three years now and I thought it's time to upgrade. Unfortunately, even though the shoes look great, the quality of the product is not the same as the pair I've gotten three years ago. The lining is thiner and cheaper. The older pair is more of a rain/snow boot while this new pair is definitely only a rain boot. The "old" pair has two small ears to pull the boot up easily, these don't have it. I've ordered my regular size 10 because my "old" pair kind of molded to my feet after several days of wearing them and now after three years they are way too big and stretched out. However, the left boot of this new pair I've just gotten fits perfectly but the right seems tighter and smaller. I thought it would stretch out after few days but wearing these boots really bothers my right toe. I never've had this issue with any other shoes, my feet are the same size but the right boot is just a tad smaller than the left. I would try to exchange them but as I've said I've already worn them thinking it would fix itself.

If you can wrench this boot over your foot, you will enjoy the fact that it’s super stylish and very waterproof. However, it’s not super comfy, no arch support, and a little on the small side. Hence, they’re a B—— to get on. All told, they’re cute enough to keep, but I probably won’t wear them as often as I envisioned because they aren’t very comfortable, and I have to pull my fingers off to get it on my foot!

I loved these EXCEPT for the calf portion. Granted, I always have issues with tall boots fitting my calf, but I thought they would work since these have the buckle. No go. They were very snug just over a knee high sock, and no pant leg would fit in there with them. I had to return them. I'm still debating ordering a half size up to get a bigger calf, and be able to add an insole. If you have a larger calf like me (16 1/2") these might not be the best fit. Or you can work them in and hope the leather stretches out. There's really no "boot insulation" in them like I was hoping. Just a thin lining. Otherwise the fit was great. I'm a 9w typically and the 9 I purchased fit great.

I so wanted to LOVE, LOVE these and have admired them for years. I normally wear a 10-11 in shoes, but I have wide (aka fat) calves. I first ordered the 10.5 which felt slightly small in length and calf-wise. I ordered the 11 which increased the foot length fine but I couldn't get the boots off and on easily due to my calves (the strap was already released all the way). Well, I could get the on but barely off. So bummed...……. They are smart looking boots for those they fit.

It was a little too high for a petite leg...a couple inches shorter and I would have loved them

I love the boots, but I bought them thinking they were snow boots and they most certainly are not! It's only October and my toes are freezing even with wool socks.

Love the style. Not the most comfortable boot, but I think they may be good after broken in. I usually wear a 9 or 9 1/2 so I purchased this in a 9 1/2. Fit good...maybe could have gone with a 10.

I wear a 7.5. I ordered a 7.5 and literally worked up a sweat trying to get my foot into the boot. The seam where the leather and rubber come together has VERY little give. I sent them back for an 8. While I still had a tough time getting my foot, which is not particularly large in any way, into the boot, the fit, as it turns out, is great. I really love these! They're doing a great job of keeping my feet and legs dry on my walks with my boy to and from school. :)

Good looking boots. Bummer was the first pair arrived with a slit cut into the back of one shoe. Return was painless though.

Good boot, like the style and waterproof. Not warm at all for a Michigan winter in the foot area, very thin rubber. The leg area is actually quite warm so I have warm legs and cold feet. I guess they are not a true winter boot, more suited to 35 degrees and above. I also had to order a full size up, usually wear a 8, had to order a 9 in order for my toes to not hit the front of the boot while walking. Overall comfy and no break in needed. I'm pretty happy with them overall.

I'm looking for the perfect winter boot, good on ice, snow, warm and not too ugly, good enough for work. I am in and out al day in Maine weather. I tried the tofino ll but they just weren't it. These I wasn't sure about so I wore them around the house for a couple of days and scuffed them so decided to keep them. They are gorgeous and I get compliments on them. They would be so much better with a zipper but not a big deal to get on and off. I'd like them a tad bit warmer but I'm not going to be going ice fishing or anything like that. I got my normal size and I think they are snug but in a good way. I have kind of narrow feet. Gods arch support and work well with smartwools. Great for walking.

Great boot for mild weather. Very comfortable. Sleeker design and smaller toe compared to other Sorels. Definitely go up a 1/2 size to accommodate for thick socks. As mentioned in other reviews, the boots do not have pull-on straps, but they are still fairly easy to pull-on. The adjustable calf straps add a stylish finishing touch.

I so wanted to love these and rock them in the cold and wet weather, no luck. I wear a size 9, m. First I tried the 9, but my toes pressed to far into the top/front of the boot. They were sent back and I received 9.5 to test drive. The weird thing is that my toes still went into the front/top of the boot but now the ankle and heel are loose and "wonky". So these lovely boots have to go back again...not designed for this ladies feet.

Great fit, good for wide calves, but wear wool socks. The rubber doesn't offer much protection from the elements. Good traction, though.

Love the boot! but definitely runs small! i'm usually in between an 8 and 8.5, i ordered the 8.5 but had to exchange for the 9

They are a full size smaller for me, usually wear an 8 and ordered a 8.5 - too small. I will be exchanging for 9 and see how that fits. They look great, fit well and seem comfortable. Not sure how warm they are but I like that they are waterproof. I'm 5'4" tall and they do not overwhelm my frame. Calves just fit and I'm hoping they stretch a bit but still fit comfortably.

They looked great--but honestly don't really know how they fit because I couldn't even get them on--and that's never happened to me before with any pair of boots.

Comfortable and true to size, but not super warm. I love the style, but the soles do not grip on slippery surfaces. Also, within 2 years of wearing these boots in the Chicago winter, the rubber top split and cracked. This isn't a lifetime winter boot for sure.
