One of the best purchases I've made in awhile. They're high quality, cute (and make your legs look super long and pretty), and the best part is how comfortable they are -- you can easily wear them all day with no problems AAAND I never would have guessed because they're wedges but they're perfect for walking on ice. It's very cold where I live when it's going to be an icy and slippery day I always put these on and never fall. I've had them for 2 winters already and they look almost as nice as when I first bought them-- GREAT quality. Get them! You won't regret it

I love everything about this boot...the style,very comfortable,and functional. I know I will be wearing these all winter. I got the taupe color which goes with everything, but I'm thinking of getting a pair in black. I ordered my regular size and they fit perfect.

In LOVE with these boots! They are ridiculously comfortable, extremely cute and practical at the same time. I love that they are a solid winter boot made of high quality materials but also have a stylish edge to them. Definitely order up 1/2 a size. I am an 8 all the time in nearly every shoe and I needed an 8.5 in these. The 8 fit but had no room for a sock.

I bought these in tobacco two years ago and now want the black. These boots are so comfortable, truly waterproof and warm, but not heavy or clunky. They have worn well, not scuffed or broken looking. Love them!

These are my favorite boots! I live in a snowy and icy area but got tired of wearing unattractive snow gear throughout the winter. I can wear these for style and function. They held up so well last winter I came back this year for another color. They fit me very true to size and are so comfortable I can wear them to work a 10-hour day.

I purchased these about two months ago and wore them for the 1st time a few days ago. The shoes are an investment considering I don't go out or dress up a often. I like that the shoe gives you a higher wedge look but was pleasantly surprised that the true arch inside is much lower so, no strained knees! The Elk color is exactly as it looks on line. I'd read the reviews before I purchased and did not find a lot of difficulty in those area. I have a wide foot and slim ankle. That being said I will have to purchase a boot stretcher for one of the boots due to my wide foot; which is not an uncommon in B widths. For an expensive shoe it's worth a little bit of effort to have them feel great on BOTH feet.

I was waiting to review after wearing a few times, to get a good feel. First wear was rough, breaking in the leather. The toe is narrow for my wide foot. I was worried about that. I have since worn enough to stretch out that sewn area over the toe. Now they are perfect. I travel into Tokyo via train several days a week. These feel great after hours of standing, walking, stairs, in and out of the stations and getting around the city. I will be purchasing a black pair, the Cate the Great, now that I know they are so wonderful. I highly recommend.

I was looking for a brown trendy boot for the fall. They are the perfect shade of gray/brown to be versatile for many outfits (I bought both the dark fog and tobacco to compare browns and kept the dark fog) I love the stability of the wedge. They feel very durable, the leather does scuff easily but it looks fine on the dark fog as it has a weathered look to it, scuffing may not fare well on the black color. They fit well, slightly narrow, I usually wear smartwool socks with boots (thin and thick) and have no problems. I purchased a size 7 (usually wear 7 in tennis shoes and boots, 6.5 in dress shoes). The one weird thing is the shoe liner comes out easily when taking off the shoes, not a big deal just strange.

I can't express how much I LOVE these boots!! I have worn them EVERYWHERE - they are beyond comfortable and stylish! I can't wait to buy another pair of sorrel (and maybe a second pair of these)

I purchased these last fall and LOVE LOVE LOVE them. They were in a kind of very dark army green distressed color which went with everything. They are stylish, weatherproof and give me a nice lift in height (I am 5'3"). I am thinking about buying another pair.

They're not the most beautiful boots of all time, but if you're looking for something with a decent heel height, comfortable enough to walk all day long, and a bit of warmth, I don't see how you could do any better. I researched for a long time before buying these, and I'm happy with my choice. Give them a try.

These booties are incredible. Ive worn them almost all day for the last 4 days and wore them on a pub crawl walking 20+ blocks no problem. They are amazing. The lacing allows them to be made tighter which is a big plus. They kicked serious ass in Portland Rain, puddles and slippery sidewalks.

LOVE these. so stylish, so comfortable. wish they were not so expensive - and I've never spent so much on a pair of shoes before - but I am so in love with them... also, they look very sturdy and well made so I hope they will last a long time to justify the purchase. btw, they look even better, and better-made, in person.

Very comfortable and cute boots. I wear a 6.5 in dress shoes and a 7 in boots/sneakers (for bigger socks); the 7 of these fit perfectly. They are comfy enough to wear all day and seem well constructed enough to hold up to a slushy winter, although I haven't had them long enough to verify. The soles grip well making them reasonably utilitarian even with a decent sized heel.

Splurge worthy! These are wonderful and surprisingly very comfortable! They can get floppy up top, but the laces help control the flop. The traction on the bottom should be great for ice, but haven't had the chance to try them on ice yet.

I've been dying for a pair of these especially in black! I'm usually a 5.5-6 in most shoes but I got a 6.5 in these as I had tried them on in the past and they were tight when trying on my normal size. They are a bit too loose for my comfort even with socks on.
