This boot is seriously AMAZING! I wore this boot straight out of the box for an 8 day trip to Portugal. Turns out Lisbon entirely a city made of cobblestones wedged into hills. AND it rained the entire time we were there, meaning the streets were just wet, narrow, steep rivers all day (Europe, right?). THESE BOOTS SAVED MY LIFE. The traction on them is so fabulous that I was traipsing around the city without a care in the world, walking on wet slippery rocks like they were carpet. The boots were completely, entirely waterproof and kept my feet cozy and dry even when we were outside for an entire day in pouring rain. On comfort: I was very concerned because I didn't have time to break them in beforehand -- no worries, this boot never gave me a MOMENT of discomfort or pain. The first day I wore them, I did put large bandaids over my ankle bones to ward off blisters. (I'm prone to blisters in ankle boots and several reviews mentioned rubbing at the ankles.) I'm not sure if this helped or was just overkill, but I didn't experience any rubbing or blisters AT ALL. I also wore relatively thick socks the whole time, which probably helped. On size: I'm a solid size 8 with a slightly wide foot, so after reading the reviews, I ordered an 8.5 and a 9. The 9 was way too big and the 8.5 fit well, though it was slightly roomy around the heel and ankle. I wonder if my regular 8 would have fit better or if it would have been too tight across the foot bed, but with my thick socks the 8.5 did fine. Regardless, was not dramatically huge on me. On color: Dark gray is even prettier than online. Has a nice broken-in leather look that makes them look very expensive and not like boots you rush-ordered in a Weather-channel-induced panic the day before your trip to Portugal. Conclusion: They are PERFECT and I LOVE them.

GREAT boot! Very comfortable, the leather is beautiful, the black is very matte. It is a little wider in the heel, so if your feet are really narrow, it might be too big.

I am usually a size 7.5 or size 8. I tried these in an 8 and they were way too tight-- I could barely get them on. I exchanged for an 8.5, and they were still very tight! They are too narrow, and my toes went numb wearing them in my house. They are very cute, but it feels like they didn't try these out on an actual person. I had to return them.

Ran a little small and narrow for me. I wear a size 8 and will have to size up in these. My pinky toes were really squished, and I have pretty narrow feet to begin with. Overall the comfort is great and the shoe is beautiful! Excellent quality. Can't wait to get my bigger size.

Love the look and style of these, but they ran small for me - especially with a thicker sock.

Comfy, warm, and stylish. Wore them in light rain and snow and never felt a drop. Great traction and padding on the sole.

This boot is the most comfortable boot i have had. It fits like a glove! I am so excited to find a beautiful waterproof ankle bootie!

These are SUPER comfy! I originally bought these for my upcoming trip to Europe, but I've also found myself wearing them to work every day since they arrived at my door! I love them so much that I bought another pair in black. The size is just right, they were a little snug at first, but after about a 1/2 day they broke in. I can't wait to receive my second pair!

Really cute bootie and my favorite color (elk) was on sale. Can't beat that! Felt comfortable out of the box but have not really tested it on a trail yet.

These booties look great and feel even better. Unfortunatly they don't fit my foot well. A 9 was too small and a 9.5 felt too big. I have a narrow foot, so that could have been the problem. Sad, cause I love them.

I love these boots. They were a little snug at first but after wearing them for few hours there are no issues getting them on and off now. I am super excited to wear them in the rain and see how they hold up. I wore them for at least 8 hours the first time I wore them, and had no comfort issues or break in worries.

I followed the recommendations and ordered a 10.5 when I normally wear a 10 in Sorel. They are so comfortable (a bit more narrow that my Sorel Joan of Arc Wedges). They have incredible traction and I feel safe on the snow and ice and so good looking. Many compliments!

These booties are EVERYTHING. I have been looking for a cute pair of booties that I can wear all day and in any weather and I have found them. These booties add a little height and provide excellent arch support and are INCREDIBLY comfortable. They are a little tight in the toes, but have been stretching nicely with regular wear. I love that they are weather proof and I regularly wear them in rain/sleet/snow. They look cute with jeans, skirts and dresses. I love these booties so much I bought two pairs and wear them on an almost daily basis.

Great fit, style and comfort! I'm normally a 7 or 7.5. I got the 7.5 and they fit well,but my feet are pretty narrow. Comfortable to wear all day without any breaking in. Quality is just what you expect from this brand. I love these boots!

Love this bootie!!!!!! I wore this bootie all day the first day!! Total comfort! Received many compliments as well. Looks great with skinny jeans or leggings. I did order a 1/2 size bigger after reading the reviews and at first thought they would be too big but I wore a nice quality running sock and it was a perfect fit! I'm back at zappos ordering them in another color.

These boots are fantastic! Comfortable right out of the box and waterproof!! They do run about 1/2 size to small ordered my normal 8.5 in Sorels and had to exchange for 9 but now are perfect. Really beautiful boot!

Two thumbs up! Bought these boots to wear to football game in Atlanta where we did a tailgate early in the day (a lot of standing) and then walked to and from the staduium and they were comfortable all day. Bonus? They are super cute. Some reviews state order a 1/2 size up, I ordered my regular size (7.5) and they fit perfect with either a thin sock or medium weight sock.

I was looking for an everyday ankle boot that was cute but could hold up in the slush of winter & provided decent traction...this was it! I was not disappointed. I'm a 9-9.5 in boots & after reading reviews, I ordered a 9.5. I actually could have gotten away with a 9...but I wanted to wear them asap, so I'll just wear thicker socks.

I had this bootie in the pebble color and loved it so much I got the black too. It is very comfortable and I'm pretty picky. Love the rubber sole which provides great cushion to your foot and helps prevent slipping. My pebble ones are an 8.5, but I had to get the 9 in the black ones and I'm usually a size 8 in other size, so I'd say it runs small.

Love these boots so much I ordered them in another color as well as the black. I tried 5 pairs of boots & these were the only ones that fit right & were comfortable. I have a neuroma on one foot & so have a difficult time finding a pair of boots that feel good & look good. One boot rubbed a little on the side but I got some moleskin to wear the first couple of times I wore them & they were good to go after that.

I love these boots!! I would recommend them to my friends!!
