Wasn't sure about sizing based on other reviews, but these boots work just fine for me in an 8 (my normal size/size of my other Sorel boots). Like other reviews mentioned, these boots are looser in the ankle, although not in a way that significantly detracts from the comfort of the shoe. I bought these because I'm looking for a shoe that's dependable, stylish, versatile, and waterproof, particularly for taking on long trips abroad. Hoping these will fit the bill!

I spent a long time looking for a stylish boot that was both rugged enough to get me around in New England winters but comfy and light enough to wear at work all day. The Lolla Ankle fits the bill! It's got great traction and is high enough that an inch or two of snow doesn't fall into it. Works with bootcut jeans, cropped pants, or leggings and a dress. I got the pebble and it's a really nice compromise between brown and gray. I usually wear a 7.5 or 8 but had to go up to an 8.5 in these, with normal weight socks. Toe box is a little narrow, but I have a narrow foot so it works for me!

Love these booties!! I read the reviews and despite my skepticism, I ordered a half size up. They fit PERFECT! As a hairstylist working on my feet 10 hours a day, I need footwear that delivers. Super cute. Super comfy. Recommending to everyone!

I was a little concerned about these pinching my balls of my feet based on others' reviews, but I have to say these boots are very comfy right out of the box. I did order a half size up and think that was a good choice. The day these boots arrived, I wore them on a shopping trip through Sam's club, then the regular grocery store spending a least 3 hours on my feet without any issue. My only gripe, and it's minor, is that with a lower sock these rub a bit around the ankle. The leather is pretty and they are supportive. Love the sole and hope that the "waterproof" claim is true as I can these being a go-to on crummy weather days.

I love these booties! I was looking for a waterproof boot that was stylish and found it in Sorel. I needed something to wear in the fall and winter in the rain and snow during my commute and that I didn't have to change into office shoes. Based on other reviews I ordered a half size larger than normal because I normally wear a wide. They fit perfectly. I don't normally wear thick socks, which is good, because I think I would have had to order a full size up to do so.

I love this boot! The color is beautiful and a great alternative to black. They are so comfortable without break in time for me.

These are beautiful ankle booties with a great tread on the bottom. The arch support is great. I would recommend ordering a half size up from your normal street shoe size. Unfortunately the heel is too wide and I'm slipping up and down even with a thick sock on so I will be sending back.

I received these boots in early November just before a snowstorm hit. They are ahhhmazing. They fit perfectly. I'm usually between 8.5-9 I got the size 9 and there is room for a big fluffy sock. They support my feet beautifully. I feel like I'm wearing my athletic shoes. I could walk all day in these! They are also very cute with skinny jeans or a skirt. And, they're waterproof. It's an amazing combination. Worth the price! Love Love Love these boots!

I tend to wear 8 or 8 1/2, and based on previous reviews, I ordered the larger of the two-- and was glad I did. These booties are on the small side. They have a nice roomy "wiggle your toes" box, however, which I appreciate with my sort-of-wide feet. I was having difficulty finding a nice gray bootie, a color I wear a lot, and was pleased to see this on the website. The striped heel adds some class, and it looks great under jeans. Most importantly, they are Sorel -- a brand that is dependable for its quality, style, and weather-proof shoes/boots. It is nice to see them attracting a broader range of customers. These shoes make me happy, and a reward coupon discount made the purchase even more perfect.

These boots are wonderful. First, I love that they are waterproof; I live in northwest Pennsylvania and I can't be bothered with worrying about rain, snow or puddles. Yet they are cute and not clunky. I wear custom orthotics, so I can't speak to the support of the normal insoles. Typically I wear an 8, medium width, but decided to try 8.5 because of other reviews. I'm glad I did. I would definitely recommend ordering a half size up.

I love these boots they are amazing. Felt narrow at first but after a few days the leather stretched out and they are perfect . Walked all over Boston in them.

A great ankle bootie but definitely runs small in the toe box! Maybe if you have very narrow feet you might not need to size up, but someone with average to wide feet should size up (I went up a half size). I have purchased other Sorel products that run more true to size and I can tell a difference between in fit. I will say that these are not my most comfortable pair of Sorel shoes, but the brand's standard of comfort is so high that I would still chose these booties over any other pair of similar shoes I've ever tried on. Since I settled on my correct size, I have definitely enjoyed these shoes! The heel cup and arch support in the footbed makes them great for long days. The look of the shoe is classic and goes great with everything from day dresses to jeans. They make the transition from day to dinner-and-drinks so easy and comfortable, not only do you not need to change shoes, you won't want to!

The style caught my eye immediately and the fact that they are waterproof sold me! As the others posted, I agree that you should order a half size up I typically wear a size 8, but took the suggestions from the comments to order an 8.5 and I'm glad I did. They do feel like they would be too narrow in the toes if I had ordered my typical size. However, they seem slightly loose in the heel, which should be no problem with thicker socks. Incredibly comfortable.

These boots are awesome! They do confirm to your foot after a few wearing. I would suggest them to anyone!

This is a very standard looking black boot - oiled leather, dark mat black. No frills except the duel color on the heel, which is cute. Fine and comfortable, but not a lot of pizzazz especially w boot cut jeans. If you are looking for a cute boot that is weather resistant, but not looking for warmth, this guy is for you. I ended up sending them back, mostly bc they were pricey without a lot of style - plus I already have a new keen all weather boot that is great.

These are the most comfortable boots. Wore them 8 hours right out of the box - no pain. Perfect height for ankle leggings. Able to wear low cut tab socks, that don't fall down. I typically wear a 10 - but ordered up 1/2 a size so I can wear socks. I also wear medium to wide shoe due to high heel caused bunion. These are not too tight. I can't recommend these enough! I ordered 3 colors, my new favorite winter bootie.

Super comfy and true to size. These will be great for snow and will last a long time. They also look great with skinny jeans. Get them already!

This is a great looking, comfortable, sturdy, and useful boot, but it does run small (1/2 size) compared with the higher wedge-style Sorel boot. Once I had the right size, I wore these right out of the box walking all day on a trip to Washington, D.C., and they were very comfortable even though I don't have narrow feet. They also were versatile and handy to have on a trip.

great looking, comfortable and waterproof! my only complaint is that the toe box is a bit tight but it is a pointy toe so i should've expected that.

For a flat boot that has amazing traction for snow, this boot is very stylish looking. It is comfortable and can be worn all day in an office environment. It runs slightly smaller. I usually wear a size 8, but the 8.5 works great for me with this boot. It's slightly narrow, but breaks in to fit the width of your foot after a week of wearing them. I am very happy with my purchase and am considering getting another color besides black.

These booties are adorable and so versatile, however they run very small - order at least a half size up.
