I had these about 10 weeks before the rubber sole came loose on both shoes. Thankfully Zappos offered amazing customer service to remedy the situation.

Son really liked them, and then within 3 weeks the shoes wore out. Fabric rips, shoe fronts scuffed leaving holes. His feet have not grown in the 3 weeks wearing them, and yet now they are incredibly hard to put on. It’s like the shoe itself shrunk. Really disappointed and not worth the $40.

These shoes did not hold up. The tread wore out and then the sneakers became dangerous.

Great looking/fitting shoe, but not durable enough for an active two year old. My son has been wearing these less than a month and toes have worn all the way through.

These shoes really scuff up wood floors! Also, they run pretty narrow, so the velcro straps don't reach more than 3/4 of the way across. In wearing them for a single day, my son's shoes now are full of dog hair and other lint on the ends of the velcro because the top part of the velcro does not reach across all of the way. I wish I could return these! The Stride Right Leepz that we bought at the same time in the same size are awesome! My son loves how they light up, they fit perfectly, they don't scuff, and they look great.

Cute, but too hard to get on my two-year-old's size 8 foot. There is only one velcro strap and there's elastic over the tongue of the shoe all the way up to the velcro, so you can't open the tongue of the shoe very much to get the shoe on. I think these would be better suited for an older child who can help more with putting on their own shoes! My son does admittedly have a very high instep, so that probably doesn't help.

They only lasted 5 weeks! My son has a huge hole on the right shoe above the big toe and the left shoe is also starting to go.

These shoes have hardly lasted a month as only school shoes.(Note: And also not worn every day!) They are already falling apart Keens and Merrill last so much longer. Will purchase those brands from now on.

My son really like these shoes but they completely fell apart after 2 months. His teacher had to duct tape them back together.

My kid had this show for 3 months and now there is a huge hole in the toe.

My son has worn this style shoe for ages; this pair was awful. He's had them for less than three months and they are literally falling apart. soles peeling, holes in the toes, completely destroyed. I'm horrified.

These fit my son just fine, but 3 months and they're ripped all over?! WAY too expensive for this kind of quality. I couldn't believe it when I saw it today. Luckily I had a backup pair of New Balance waiting in his closet. Very disappointed.

these shoes were way too stiff for a one year old. the bands across the shoes broke after one wear. these were terrible. we have always bought stride right for years and this is the first problem we have ever had with them

I ordered extra wide and I wouldn't even consider it to be wide. My sons current shoes were wider than these. We returned them.

Nice shoe, but not made tough enough to survive a three year old active boy. The toes had a hole in them and the soles were worn before we hit the two month mark. Will not purchase again. Would be a nice shoe for a sedentary boy. And although I love the brand, I Will not purchase again for my boy from Stride Rite.

My four year old wore out the toes and the tongue on these shoes WITH NORMAL USE in only 3 weeks. Beware!

My son wore these out in less than two months. We usually buy New Balance and they last until he outgrows them. For $10 more buy a quality shoe.

I really wanted to love these. The style is cute, but the quality is simply awful. My son has worn only Stride Rite since birth, and we've never had any issues with quality before. He usually wears his shoes for about 6 months at a time (we size up) and he's outgrown each pair WAY before the shoes actually wore out. That said, I ordered the Artins in December, and he first wore them in January. Within two weeks' time, the top of the toe began showing signs of wear. I figured the wear was more of an cosmetic issue than anything; after all, he's a toddler and boys scuff up their shoes. Well, it's now March, two months after he first wore them, and there are two massive holes all the way across the tops of his toes. So disappointing, especially given the great reviews. Wish I had returned them after the first two weeks, when I first saw the wear. Terrible.
