2nd pair of same shoe (different color) for my grandson. He familiarly slipped them on and velcroed the strap. He wore them for the entire rest of the day. I'd say it was a great endorsement of comfort and fit.

My son has worn these every day to kindergarten and so far so good. He loves them, and says they are his fast shoes.

Good shoe in general

Great back-to-school shoe my son (technically not "back" to school - he's starting Pre-K)! He loves them, and I love that they come in wide since he has really wide feet! He can easily put them on by himself, which is a big help. I got the gray, and it goes with everything. Overall, very happy!

Love the Stride Rite brand! This is our second pair of this specific shoe in a year! Comfy and classic navy blue with a touch of orange, basic yet stylish!

We had to return for a half size larger. Love Stride Rite! It’s the only shoe that consistently holds up to my boys who are tough on their shoes!

too narrow

I love stride rite shoes! They are my go to for my son because of the wide width shoes. I really like the made 2 play line. My son has autism and is very picky on his shoes he loves these they're comfortable and easy on and off for him.

These seemed comfortable from day one and are holding up well. Washable, but I haven't had to wash them. They wipe clean well.

Excellent sneaker for play.

My son loves these. They are not as flexible as other styles of Stride Rite, so I was worried they might not be comfortable, but my son seems to never want to take them off. They dry quickly - they got totally soaked and we placed them over the vent overnight; they were dry in the morning. On the SR website these are not highly rated, but I can't understand why. I think they're great.

Bought these for my 7 yr old grandson. He loves them, says they are sooo comfortable. He wants me to be sure and buy these again next time he needs bigger shoes.

We LOVE Stride Rite shoes! They are the only ones that have extra wide that ALSO are sturdy enough to hold up to my very active sons' crawling around in the dirt. We bought some NB once and Sketchers once and both wore through on the top of the toe. But Stride Rite always has leather wrapped up and around the toe. These shoes seem true to size and width, but they must've forgotten to lengthen the hook n loop straps to fit the width; however, they are still long enough to hook securely. At the price they're at, they are a deal. And with a coupon I had, they were a steal. My big little boy loves them!!

I have purchased these shoes for both my 4 and 6 year old sons. They have lasted much longer than other brands and offer good support. Both the wide and medium sizing fit well. A great purchase if you want shoes to last.
