If you're ordering a wide width, don't expect to get it here. The boot is perfect in all regards except Columbia doesn't know what a wide shoe should feel like. This is more like a normal shoe in terms of width. They should look to New Balance to see what an actual wide size is and base the boots on that; or they should offer an extra wide or EE/EEE. If you need a wide to extra wide, be prepared to buy some old fashioned shoe shoe stretchers because you're going to need them. Other than that "little" problem, these boots are perfect. P.S. I'll be buying again since I now have the shoe stretchers.

I have has several pair of Newton Ridge low top shoes in the past, but they do not appear to make them any more, so I decided to try the boots. The quality is excellent, but as someone who prefers low top shoes, I find them a bit heavy for walking, but they do offer better ankle support.

Great boot. Comfortable. True size. Sturdy. Would recommend to anyone looking for a good boot.

Boots are great and comfortable, only 4* due to a defective left boot seperating from the sole, they have made it right though, very accommodating. Great company and will be buying my shoes from them here on in, they have an edge above the rest.

Always a good pair of durable shoes. Been buying these for years for hiking. Shoes slightly heavier than anticipated.

I really like these boots. I bought for the look and color. I wear them out for just casual occasions. To me the are a little bit snug but very comfortable with the memory foam.

I really like these boots. They are a little clunky to tie but I think it's because I've been wearing running shoes so much lately that I'm not really used to wearing any kind of boots. They kept my feet warm and they are quite comfortable.

I work outside and have been looking for work shoes that would keep my feet dry and be comfortable all day. I have tried so many different kinds over the years at all different price ranges. All of them broke down fast or fell apart due to walking through wet grass. So far these have held up. I have worked in a rain storm and my feet stayed dry. They are comfortable for all day use as well.

These are really nice boots. They fit perfectly and were great for a hike right out of the box. No breaking in at all. Unfortunately, they are not waterproof. Something to keep in mind. I'm keeping them though. They are great boots and a really good price.

I bought these just over a year ago now and have loved them. Used them for my part time job, hiking and hunting. They were fantastic. The treads seemed to burn down rather quickly though. Everything else about them was great.

Very comfortable, true to fit size, tread is great for the terrain here in the high desert. Only complaint is the laces are already coming apart.

These boots were beautifully designed, sturdy and attractive but I ordered the wrong size and returned to store for a different style!

Been buying these boots for years. Good, comfortable boots right out of the box. Maybe could use a little more cushioning in the heel but overall good boots. They typically only last me a year but I am way tougher on them than most people and for the price they are still a good bargain.

Bought these for my husband and he loves them. He would prefer a little more cushion but we hope an insole will help.

I have wide feet and I thought this boot, which is offered in both regular and wide versions, would (if I ordered the wide version) accommodate me. Well, the box says "Wide" - in 2 places, but the boot itself looks like it's medium width. I compared it sole against sole to the boot I'm replacing, which is D width, and it's exactly the same. Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how'd you like the play? Well, I'll keep these because I don't think there are any real wide boots out there. BTW, they look great!

fit well right out of the box. they seem to be waterproofed with a good product
