The laces loop (the one in the front) is pressing the toe knuckle at both feet. after half an hour walking got a blister at my left foot and a red spot on my right foot. May be is only due to my anatomy but again this is a pretty bad design. Never had any problems with other boots. I return the product.

Ordered the wide. Says wide on the tongue. Not wide shoe. Same tight fit as normal width but shoe is stiffer than a mesh type hiker. Hurt feet within minutes. Sending back.

I have 2 pairs of these for work and both pairs now are damaged where the sole meets the leather. They have come apart at the seem and now are no longer water proof. one pair is over a year old and the other is less than a year old.

This is the second piece of footwear I've purchased by Columbia. The first was amazing, insulated, waterproof, lasted over a year. The Newton Ridge is what I got to replace them and it is simply garbage. In less than 2 months, I have several points of seperation between the side of the boot and the sole. Insulated to keep feet warm? It's basically just a plastic shell with the only thing inside of it being your foot. I'm extremely disappointed in this product.

My second pair of these and gave them another chance. The sole wears down to quickly.. barely over 60 days and the bottom is bare.

First time out in wet grass, (not even raining) just wet grass, socks total soaked, I even had short gaiters on ,these boots were totally soaked in less than a mile. do not recommend these boots if be waterproof is why you chose them.

My first day in these boots I was walking through tall grass in the morning and my feet became completely saturated from all the dew. I really expected them to perform better.
